Homecoming party goes wrong: Helium balloon with R5000 slips from little boy's hand

Pinky shared this clip of the moment when the vibe flipped fast when the spoiler entered mid-celebration.

''It was a welcome home surprise party for my son who came back home after completing his 3 years of studying in another state,'' Pinky told WooGlobe.

''During the excitement of receiving the helium balloon filled with R5000, my grandson secretly snatched the balloon from my son.''

The drama peaked when the balloon slipped away from the little boy's hand.

''That moment was not captured because everyone was in panic mode trying to get to the balloon,'' Pinky added.

''We were told that the balloon would not float because it was too heavy because of the money inside, but because it was windy, the balloon went flying out!''
