00:02People are really excited. They all think the truck is insanely amazing.
00:12Retired monster truck racers, Brad and Jennifer Campbell, have built the world's longest monster truck, the Sin City Hustler.
00:21The inspiration behind building the monster truck, well a lot of it actually just comes from our race experience.
00:26We took a lot of the components of a race truck.
00:34We decided, you know, we better go big.
00:38Brad, if he's going to do something, he has to do it bigger and better than everybody else.
00:43We found this ginormous limo and it all started from there.
00:47It's not every day you get to build the world's longest monster truck.
00:51The process for building the truck was actually pretty impressive.
00:54Brad and our employee, Mike, actually did most of the fabrication work and the design work.
00:59They built the chassis and the roll cage and all of the custom paneling, things like that, put everything together.
01:07The build itself took 15 months.
01:10What started out as, oh, we can get it done in like three, four months, turned into a bigger project
01:16than either of us anticipated.
01:17They just did everything by hand.
01:20So 15 months, and I'm not going to lie, I cried when I saw it pull out of the shop.
01:25I was so excited.
01:26The engine size for the car, it's a 521 big block Ford.
01:31The estimated horsepower, somewhere 750 plus horsepower.
01:35One of the things about monster trucks that draws people in is the tires and the wheels.
01:40People are like amazed by these things and they're 66 inches tall.
01:44So I totally understand.
01:45They're huge.
01:46We built the truck to hold 12 passengers.
01:49This gigantic truck is worth a staggering $1 million.
01:54You know, one of the coolest parts about being with this monster truck is seeing people's reactions to the truck.
02:00People are really excited.
02:00They all think the truck is insanely amazing.
02:03When you see it in person, it's insane.
02:06It literally makes you speechless.
02:09It's just crazy.
02:11We offer tours in the monster truck.
02:13They're not really tours so much as they are a thrill ride.
02:16It's about five minutes and we go through some canyons over the hills.
02:20It's a pretty extreme little ride.
02:21I used to race monster trucks professionally.
02:23So for me to say it's pretty awesome actually means a lot.
02:27It kind of holds a lot.
02:27I'm not just a pretty face here.
02:30So it's pretty cool.
02:31That's what we do.
