A man has been arrested following a viral video showing him clinging to the bonnet of his ex-wife’s moving car for two kilometres in Seri Alam, Johor Baru, on Saturday (Feb 28).

00:06for two kilometers in Seri Alam, Johor Bahru, on Saturday.
00:11Seri Alam OCPD, Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Sohaimi Ishaq,
00:16said the incident began at a supermarket in Bandar, Seri Alam, around 3.30 p.m. before escalating onto the
00:23road.
00:24The man held on as the woman drove slowly for about two kilometers.
00:29Later, a group of men, believed to be the suspect's friends, blocked the vehicle and allegedly extorted the woman
00:36by seizing her belongings and damaging the car's windscreen.
00:41Acting on information received, police detained a local man in his 30s at around 2 a.m. on Sunday
00:48along Jalan Persesiran Seri Alam in Maasai.
00:51The suspect, who has no prior criminal record, tested positive for ketamine.
00:56He has been remanded for seven days until March 7th.
