00:01at the end of a momentous week for Monaco one that ultimately ended in
00:06crushing disappointments can they bounce back today or can Angers for Yasin
00:13Belkin Lillian Raunlisoa in towards Prosper Peter they've got numbers in the
00:23box here and Prosper Peter has the first effort on target of the game it's
00:29our comfortable stop in the end for Philip could had to be saved
00:48good touch again by Elijah Bamba it's a youngster of immense promise tases low
00:54crossing now Goloban it's pretty inventive from the Russian it's looking to catch
01:01the keeper out of the near post
01:06and he got two goals this season Alexander Goloban
01:16now the break is on Louis Mutok is away down the right does he go himself
01:24well it was close
01:29very close
01:30in fact it's Yasin Belkin my apologies not Louis Mutok
01:43although Anand has stayed down lifted into the box by Bamba
01:48and Goloban turned his back on the ball
01:57Anand still down Monaco not of a mind to stop the play Bamba
02:04Fatih back through Fais
02:10Goloban
02:12Oladji Bamba
02:13are they overplaying this on it's blazed over in the end
02:17what a chance Lamine Kamara
02:21Monaco's best opportunity of the game and their patience for once here paid off
02:28Kamara was definitely
02:30looked like a foul on Prosper Peter but there's no whistle
02:34Balogun races away down the left
02:37teammates hurrying into the penalty area to give him an option
02:41Balogun looks central
02:42and in the end Jordan Teze
02:44a little bit better from Monaco in the last few minutes
02:54and starved at the ball in this first half
03:03Bamba's been very calm on the ball
03:05and that's the end of a rather lackluster first half for Monaco
03:09from Ivory Coast
03:14Bamba's been very calm
03:19Bamba's been very calm
03:20so that opening goal
03:21oh so important but oh so difficult to find
03:26Zakaria
03:29Monaco have not won three consecutive home games since all the way back in August
03:34they won their last two
03:35Goloban into the box
03:36helped on by Balogun
03:38and Sufati
03:38and he just didn't catch it right
03:44they've risen as one in expectation
03:47oh, Kamara's kicked the ground
03:50goodness me
03:50he's got a second bite at it
03:53punched away by Pona
03:57don't see that too often from a corner kick
04:00at this level
04:04that's a really handy ball
04:06that's a really handy ball
04:06here's Yasin Belchim
04:07big chance for Anje
04:10and a big save from Philippe Cod
04:12almost caught Cole there
04:15there's a lovely release from Lillian
04:18Raulisoa
04:20and Belchim denied
04:21by Philippe Cod
04:25a tiny knot of supporters
04:28behind the goal
04:31Louis Mouton's corner
04:33plenty of flights
04:35off the head of Faisen
04:37volleyed away by Fatih
04:41a little touch by Bamba
04:42didn't quite come off this time
04:43and this is the danger
04:44for Monaco
04:47Anje can spring forward quickly
04:49that's a high foot from Belchim
04:50this is going to be a booking
04:52oh, it said red cards
04:54straight red cards
04:56issued by Guillaume Paradis
04:58to Yasin Belchim
05:00matches
05:01Lamine Kamara
05:03it's only a glancing blow
05:05but it's high
05:10hoping no doubt that
05:14his players are going to get a reprieve
05:18well, he's been asked to come and have another look at it
05:21the referee Guillaume Paradis
05:24so there's obviously some measure of doubt
05:26in the minds of
05:28Bunwa Bastien and Julian Schmidt in VAR
05:34it's a glancing blow isn't it?
05:40Belchim will say he's trying to bring his foot down and get it out of the way
05:50I think he just catches him actually on the boot
05:53on the way down
05:57which is awkward
06:00but
06:01for Lamine Kamara
06:01what's the verdict?
06:13two captains called in for a conference
06:25so they're red cards
06:28is expunged and downgraded to a yellow
06:34after that lengthy delay
06:36and Yasin Belchim is a very relieved man
06:39and so is his coach
06:46Angers retain their full complement
06:57is that the right outcome?
06:59I'm sure you've got your own views at home
07:01I have to say initially
07:02my first thought was that was going to be a yellow card
07:08here's Gullivan
07:09chance for Monaco
07:10pushed away by Podak
07:13only as far as Teze
07:14another test coming from the cross
07:16it's a scramble
07:17it's gone in
07:19somehow
07:20some way
07:22of following Balogun
07:25and on 57 minutes
07:27Monaco
07:29have the breakthrough
07:31and it's following Balogun's sixth goal of the season
07:36rather untidy at the end
07:38but they all count
07:39from Teze's cross
07:42Balogun got the important touch
07:44and Monaco lead 1-0
07:50Gullivan's shot
07:51pushed away by the young keeper
07:54and Teze's cross was a teasing one
07:58it may be that the final touch has gone in off a defender
08:02no, maybe Balogun did get the final touch
08:05he's run
08:07and now yet another goal against Angers
08:10one of his favourite opponents
08:14ball breaks kindly here for Alexander Gullivan
08:17Odingra
08:19looking for the angle to shoot
08:21oh it's a brilliant goal
08:24Simon Odingra
08:26with his first
08:27since signing for the club on loan
08:30from Sunderland
08:32and it was a peach into the bottom corner
08:35no chance for Umar Pona
08:38and Monaco
08:40now to have a
08:42yet to really make the breakthrough with Monaco
08:45Odingra places it out in front of Biadeth
08:49oh
08:50Paris Brunner was saying
08:51just play me in
08:54Biadeth
08:54not quite able to do that
08:58good break by Monaco
08:59lovely ball by Odingra
09:02less so by Biadeth
09:15still the corner to come though
09:17for Monaco
09:20which as ever
09:21Lamine Kamara will deliver
09:25plenty of power didn't it from Tilo Keira
09:27but just not quite the direction
09:30he met it like a steam train
09:43yet to score this season Tilo Keira
09:45yet to score this season Tilo Keira
10:03calling the gift of the referee now
10:06and he says
10:08that's enough
10:10Monaco make it six matches unbeaten in Ligue 1
