01:31The regime's proxies have continued to launch countless attacks
01:35against American forces stationed in the Middle East in recent years,
01:40as well as U.S. naval and commercial vessels in international shipping lands.
01:46It's been mass terror, and we're not going to put up with it any longer.
01:51From Lebanon to Yemen and Syria to Iraq,
01:55the regime has armed, trained, and funded terrorist militias
01:59that have soaked the earth with blood and guts.
02:04And it was Iran's proxy, Hamas,
02:07that launched the monstrous October 7th attacks on Israel,
02:12slaughtering more than 1,000 innocent people, including 46 Americans,
02:17while taking 12 of our citizens hostage.
02:20It was brutal, something like the world has never seen before.
02:26Iran is the world's number one state sponsor of terror,
02:30and just recently killed tens of thousands of its own citizens on the street as they protested.
02:37It has always been the policy of the United States,
02:40in particular my administration,
02:43that this terrorist regime can never have a nuclear weapon.
02:47And I'll say it again, they can never have a nuclear weapon.
02:53That is why, in Operation Midnight Hammer last June,
02:57we obliterated the regime's nuclear program at Fordeaux, Natanz, and Isfahan.
03:05After that attack, we warned them never to resume their malicious pursuit of nuclear weapons,
03:11and we sought repeatedly to make a deal.
03:16We tried.
03:17They wanted to do it.
03:19They didn't want to do it.
03:20Again, they wanted to do it.
03:22They didn't want to do it.
03:23They didn't know what was happening.
03:25They just wanted to practice evil.
03:27But Iran refused, just as it has for decades and decades.
03:32They've rejected every opportunity to renounce their nuclear ambitions,
03:38and we can't take it anymore.
03:41Instead, they attempted to rebuild their nuclear program
03:45and to continue developing long-range missiles
03:49that can now threaten our very good friends and allies in Europe,
03:54our troops stationed overseas,
03:56and could soon reach the American homeland.
04:00Just imagine how emboldened this regime would be
04:04if they ever had and actually were armed with nuclear weapons
04:09as a means to deliver their message.
04:12For these reasons, the United States military
04:15has undertaken a massive and ongoing operation
04:18to prevent this very wicked, radical dictatorship
04:22from threatening America and our core national security interests.
04:27We are going to destroy their missiles
04:30and raise their missile industry to the ground.
04:34It will be totally, again, obliterated.
04:38We are going to annihilate their navy.
04:40We are going to ensure that the region's terrorist proxies
04:44can no longer destabilize the region or the world
04:47and attack our forces and no longer use their IEDs
04:52or roadside bombs, as they are sometimes called to so gravely wound
04:58and kill thousands and thousands of people, including many Americans.
05:03And we will ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.
05:08It's a very simple message.
05:11They will never have a nuclear weapon.
05:14This regime will soon learn that no one should challenge the strength
05:19and might of the United States Armed Forces.
05:22I built and rebuilt our military in my first administration,
05:27and there is no military on Earth even close to its power, strength, or sophistication.
05:34My administration has taken every possible step to minimize the risk
05:39to U.S. personnel in the region.
05:42Even so, and I do not make this statement lightly,
05:45the Iranian regime seeks to kill.
05:49The lives of courageous American heroes may be lost,
05:53and we may have casualties that often happens in war.
05:57But we're doing this not for now.
06:00We're doing this for the future, and it is a noble mission.
06:04We pray for every service member as they selflessly risk their lives
06:09to ensure that Americans and our children
06:11will never be threatened by a nuclear-armed Iran.
06:15We ask God to protect all of our heroes in harm's way,
06:19and we trust that, with his help,
06:22the men and women of the armed forces will prevail.
06:27We have the greatest in the world, and they will prevail.
06:30To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard,
06:34the armed forces, and all of the police,
06:36I say tonight that you must lay down your weapons
06:40and have complete immunity,
06:42or, in the alternative, face certain death.
06:46So, lay down your arms.
06:49You will be treated fairly with total immunity,
06:52or you will face certain death.
06:56Finally, to the great, proud people of Iran,
06:59I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand.
07:03Stay sheltered.
07:04Don't leave your home.
07:06It's very dangerous outside.
07:08Bombs will be dropping everywhere.
07:10When we are finished, take over your government.
07:12It will be yours to take.
07:14This will be, probably, your only chance for generations.
07:20For many years, you have asked for America's help,
07:23but you never got it.
07:24No president was willing to do what I am willing to do tonight.
07:29Now you have a president who is giving you what you want.
07:32So, let's see how you respond.
07:35America is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force.
07:40Now is the time to seize control of your destiny
07:43and to unleash the prosperous and glorious future
07:47that is close within your reach.
07:49This is the moment for action.
07:52Do not let it pass.
