Will Jacks is asked whether England actually need to produce the perfect game after their win over New Zealand
Transcript
00:00There's been a lot of talk about England not yet producing the perfect game.
00:04Do you think you need to do that?
00:07Well, short answer, no.
00:10We've won six out of seven games and we've qualified for a semi-final.
00:15At the end of the day, no one really cares.
00:17We obviously want to play well in there,
00:19but we're not gutted that we haven't played the perfect game
00:21because we're winning.
00:22And that's T20 cricket, that's professional sport.
00:25It's also incredibly hard to do that.
00:28You're playing against a very strong side
00:30who are prepared as well as you guys
00:33and they know what they're trying to do
00:34and they're also trying to play the perfect game.
00:36So the chances of that happening are very slim.
00:39And like I just said in the question before,
00:41I think what we've done well is in the key moments,
00:45we've kept a calm and clear head
00:47and we've managed to negotiate those well.
