00:33I knew Ghislaine Maxwell casually as an acquaintance.
00:38But whatever they asked me, I did my very best to respond.
00:43I don't know how many times I had to say I did not know Jeffrey Epstein.
00:48I never went to his island.
00:51I never went to his homes.
00:52I never went to his offices.
00:54So it's on the record numerous times.
00:59It then got, at the end, quite unusual because I started being asked about UFOs
01:07and a series of questions about Pizzagate,
01:11one of the most vile, bogus conspiracy theories that was propagated on the Internet
01:19that was serving as the basis of a member's questions to me.
01:25And how have you been personally preparing for the deposition that is coming tomorrow?
01:30Are you 100 percent confident that there isn't anything that the former president knows about Epstein's crime?
01:36I am, and I think the chronology of the connection that he had with Epstein ended years, several years,
01:48before anything about Epstein's criminal activities came to light
01:54and that he was charged and sadly given a sweetheart deal,
01:59which, as I said in my statement, had that not happened, perhaps his predatory behavior could have been stopped earlier.
02:06Can I ask, why was Colleen Maxwell invited to your daughter Chelsea Clinton's wedding in 2010?
02:14She'd already been mentioned in a civil lawsuit by Virginia Dufresne before that.
02:19Jeffrey Epstein had already been convicted before that.
02:23She came as the plus one, the guest of someone who was invited.
