00:11We just see ARMY in movies and we just read and see about them but when you actually meet them
00:19they are our real heroes. They stay away from their families, they stay away from all the
00:26comforts of life that we are enjoying. And we should be thankful because of God and because
00:31of them we are here. They might be smiling and talking with us but behind that smile is
00:37years of pain.
00:45We are especially honoured to host our young friends and we hope your visit must be enriching,
00:54memorable and inspiring.
01:00Gentlemen, this place draws inspiration from the legendary battle of Dogai, one of the most
01:07significant battles of the 1965 Indo Park War. The battle was fought by the gallant troops
01:13of the 54 infantry brigade who displayed extraordinary courage, determination and leadership under
01:20intense enemy resistance. Through bold offensive action and sheer grit, Dogai village near Ichogil
01:27Canal was captured by the brigade. Although it was later vacated due to strategic compulsion,
01:34it was later recaptured once again reaffirming the indomitable spirit of the Indian army.
01:40The battle of Dogai stands as the timeless symbol of wailor, sacrifice and unwavering commitment
01:47to duty.
02:02Everyone is not aware of what we are doing. So we got to know today also even back in
02:07Dubai and UAE you guys are looking up to us. So you know it's a privilege to us for us
02:12also
02:12and a pleasure for that meeting all of you.
02:16Women play an important role in Dubai and UAE. You guys are looking up to us. It's a privilege
02:18to be a role in today's armies. So can you explain the importance of women empowerment?
02:22I think we bring in terms of physical fitness as well as our mental ability to the organisation
02:28and we try to make as much contribution as we can.
02:34Women credits to join the Indian army. Apart from medical corps, all the other corps like
02:40be it signals, EME in which ma'am is there, intelligence, law, other arms, army air defence,
02:48all the other arms are trained over there. They jointly train and then after getting commissioned
02:52they are specially trained into their service.
02:59Serving the forces is the ultimate duty towards your nation. So it can be anything.
03:07It can be green of the army, the blue of the air force or the white of the navy.
03:12So ultimately no offence, just defence of course. And serving one son to the service of the nation is must.
03:21So all of you who are sitting there outside India, you must contribute towards the nation in your different ways.
03:27Like you have the AI, you have the cyber or someone who is interested in adventures, you name a thing
03:32and Indian army is there. And we are not just there, we are absolutely into it and with absolute precision.
03:40So the last operations that we had, you know how much precision we had in every operation.
03:48So you can understand the AI and the cyber role and sitting outside India, you can contribute in your own
03:54ways and you must do it.
04:01Try and join the army or the forces. But there are also other ways to contribute. Sometimes health precludes you
04:07from joining.
04:08But there are increasing army and civil MOUs and collaborations. So I do urge you that technology is one up
04:17and coming field where everyone can contribute.
04:23So once you go from here to the tank regiment, it's a battle platform. Once you have a right, then
04:31you will come to know.
04:32What's about dust and how there is a troop. There are three people who are the driver, commander and gunner.
04:40Once you practice without even the radio set, if you look at the other guy, he will come to know.
04:45So that is the kind of training. You live on the tank for days together. So you understand each other
04:52very well.
04:59The light of the tank is coming after you, and we speak into the deep air.
05:00Once we speak, we speak through the trees too loud. Because of the tank's voice, and so the natural voice
05:05is louder.
05:06And at home, then the ladies and children, they are little offended that everyone is speaking.
05:12Natural voice is that way. It is over the sound of that tank.
05:26Once you go and have a look now, you'll see that the platform can take about 45 rounds
05:32inside and everything has to be done by those three guys.
05:36Loading, taking out, maintenance, everything.
05:49So can you share what are the new technologies that are implemented in the tanks, in the warfares
05:55and what are your experiences about it?
05:57The latest things which we have put is the COPE system which is an anti-drone system
06:03which detects the drones which come in and how we neutralize them.
06:09It is through frequencies.
06:13We jam the frequencies and we get them.
06:16And once it's very close by, we have an anti-drone system which detects and shoots it down.
06:25Once the drones are coming, you have your jammers in place.
06:27It's an integrated system.
06:29So it will go there.
06:31And the other way is you take a cyber take-off.
06:33So the enemy has sent the drone and I take over the control of the drone.
06:37So now I have the access.
06:39So I can then, you know, carry that.
06:42So, this is the two techniques that we generally follow.
06:45So before they even reach the tanks, they are now.
06:54Could you describe your experience climbing the Mount Everest?
06:58This was in 2018 when I climbed Everest.
07:01I was the team leader of India-Nimas mountain expedition in which it was an eight-member team.
07:08And all eight of us climbed.
07:11And without a single casualty.
07:13So we went up, we climbed and we came back.
07:17Before that, we had carried out a number of, you know, pre-explanations to Mount Everest.
07:24Like, we climbed a couple of six-term peaks.
07:26And we climbed a difficult peak, Mount Trishul, which is in Garhwal Himalayas.
07:31So we climbed that.
07:32It is one of the most technical peaks.
07:34And all those who had gone for Everest with me, they climbed, they submitted Mount Trishul.
07:39And then we took on this challenge to climb Mount Everest.
07:48Today, the experience at military camp and the tank ride was amazing.
07:53I never imagined that I would get an opportunity to go meet military people and ask what all
07:59questions I had these many years from the movies that I saw.
08:03Because we just get connected to Indian Army as NRIs through movies only.
08:08So, now that I got the opportunity to ask the questions, I feel so relieved.
08:13And I had a different expectation.
08:15I thought that they would be really strict.
08:17But then, it was completely different.
08:20They were so much welcoming.
08:25We all have to go to the military camp.
08:30We are strict and organized.
08:33We are free at military officers.
08:35We are strong and motivated.
08:38We are afraid of others.
08:40We are afraid of them.
08:40We are afraid of them.
08:42They are friendly as they are.
08:45That is not our destination out there.
08:51They would go with different types of tanks.
08:54We have functions, petrol, and different features.
08:58Now there is a lot of water-resistant airs, there is a lot of water-resistant airs, there is a
09:01lot of water-resistant airs, and there is a lot of mines that detects.
09:06There is a lot of tankers in different functions.
09:09What is this? It's a tank ride.
09:12It's like a tank ride.
09:12It's like a big deal.
09:24It's like a tank ride.
09:26There is a lot of pride here.
09:27The officers have no pride in the office.
09:39As we look at our experiences,
09:41we will struggle with the army person.
09:45That's why we try to get the feeling.
09:48Yes, we try to get the feeling.
09:50If you feel this excitement,
09:51you can help us do it with that concern.
09:53It's like that.
10:55We're all ceremonial functions.
10:57The president of India is courted by the president's bodyguard.
11:00And here we see, arriving to see the president,
11:03is a historical mode of transport, a piece of history.
11:07Today we're standing here at Vijay Chauk in the Kastavia Path
11:10after witnessing the beating retreat ceremony.
11:13Arriving, all will be ready then to receive the president of India.
11:37And now that the president has arrived,
11:40the president's bodyguard will present the national salute.
11:42The tricolour will be unfurled to the playing of the national anthem.
11:50The mayor's bodyguard will be unfurled to the national anthem.
11:52Salute!
11:53The Queluk!
11:57Dew!
12:17Did you feel goosebumps when you saw how everybody was performing?
12:20Actually I am saying because you know we often associate military with you know like guns
12:26and all but when we saw the same officers doing this parade using the instruments and you
12:31know like synchronizing it very well because that's a part of discipline which we always
12:35should learn and such a great experience you know the they made about Gagan Iyan they made
12:40about so one day Mataram Operation Sindhu it was a true moment to feel proud of India.
12:51It was really amazing I wanted to check each and every
12:55formation so deeply because each of them had a really big significance for example the
13:01Gaganayan mission then the Brahmos mission and also the Operation Sindhu every part was
13:08also shown with a really important song behind it.
13:29Normally when we look at parades and all it's all just soldiers the weapons different dance
13:33forms but now it was different human formations of different weapons of the military.
14:00I really admired Indian formation itself because it projected the whole Indian map along with
14:06the Indian flags and all and I also like the Tri Sena because it showed all the three parts
14:12of the army which was military, no army which was military, navy and air force so it shows
14:18the collective unit and responsibility towards the nation.
14:33after finishing the parade even after that they were moving in such a way that we don't feel
14:37that it is going to finish they might have taken months to prepare this maybe it is our India's
14:43parade and we are Indians so we can sing it with our heart and know the experience about it.
14:52It's a spectacular ceremony and to all the people who didn't see this you should definitely
14:58come whenever you get the chance.
15:01Every single mood they were going together and there were many formes of the shapes also that
15:05also was paka and we could see that how much relatable similarity was there and there were
15:10many lights and the instruments also they were playing very sing itself so like we can feel
15:16that patriotism that's it so it was very fun and I enjoyed the whole entire.
15:33First of all I want to say that the beating retreat ceremony showed how strong patriotism can be
15:39then it's shared by millions of people, thousands of people.
15:55It is truly something that requires hard work, precision and discipline.
16:00So I think it evoked a sense of patriotism in all of us here.
16:16The beating retreat was really the unity of nationalism.
16:56The beat of nationalism was really the same way as is that at the time of the state of the
17:00country, the flame was very happy and our country was so beautiful and wonderful.
17:06The same year after all, the same year after all, the other conditions were slowly
17:07from the country and the people of the country and the people of the country.
17:09...

17:43It was a different feel in the air today, 78 years, that's the time that we have lost
17:50Bapu from this world but he lives in our heart even today. Even when we were waiting, when
17:55we were getting his ideas through the bhajans that were being played and there was an all
17:59secular meeting where all the religions, they were showing their love and the message to
18:05the world. So this shows us how well Gandhiji was as a person. So even though he's not with
18:09us in the world, when we were talking about him, when we were paying homage to him, he's
18:15still alive in our hearts today.
18:20I'm going to turn off the Jews!
18:23I'm going to turn off the Jews!
18:37And they're still alive in their hearts today.
18:41And they're still alive in their hearts today.
18:47And they're still alive in our hearts today.
18:54As a social science teacher, when I was standing in front of Gandhi Samadhi, I could connect
18:59myself with the values that he imparted at this truth, non-violence and justice.
19:32Oh, yeah, so like we entered and there were many quotes on Blackstones and all about him.
19:37It actually felt very nice, though it was an emotional part, the flame, and it felt like
19:43a bit sad that we lost someone who was so dear to us.
19:46But it's all right because he's alive in our hearts and he has found our nation and we
19:50are so proud.
20:28Everyone paid their homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
20:32It was really quiet, but it was really powerful.
20:34It felt like walking through history.
20:39It was really powerful.
20:42It was really powerful.
20:45And it was really powerful.
20:47It was really powerful.
20:47But it was a young student.
20:52Anyway, we went to the U.A. to the very first time.
20:59Sir, it's not the first time, sir.
21:00It's not the first time.
21:01So, the U.A. is not the first time, sir.
21:05How did you grow up?
21:08It's not the first time, sir.
21:10It's British rule.
21:12It's British Visitorial N.O.C.
21:15Knowledge Vitation Certificate.
21:17I'm here to enter.
21:19That's the first time, the U.A. is formed.
21:24In the time of the year, the U.A. is formed in the 1970s.
21:37The U.A. is not the same.
21:42I have never been in the U.A. in the 1970s.
21:46The U.A. is in Abu Dhabi.
21:49I have been in other countries.
21:50That's what I call Sui-Fi.
21:53So, I don't know what I'm doing.
21:55I don't know what I'm doing.
21:56I don't know what I'm doing.
21:57I don't know what I'm doing.
22:00I don't know what I'm doing.
22:04Now, Mr. Thirumala Veni,
22:07in the Kakinada district,
22:09there is a city of Panjaj President.
22:14Actually, Grama Sarpanch.
22:16When I come here, can we give you the work of India?
22:20At the moment in the time of the government,
22:25I get a power to talk to him in the Delhi program.
22:34Asha Net News Channel,
22:37I get a power to tell him about this program.
22:39My father has been in Dubai.
22:42My father has been in Dubai and has been a doctorate for the last two years.
22:53At this time, my father has been helping.
22:58He has been in Delhi for a flight.
23:01He has been helping him in Delhi.
23:12There's a saying in Tamil that says,
23:16It says that what you know is just a fistful of things.
23:20What you don't know is the whole world.
23:22That's what I say.
23:24Every moment, realize that there are things that you don't know.
23:27Keep your eyes and ears open.
23:33As we come to the end of PTBI,
23:36I want to say that this was not just a competition actually.
23:40It was basically an experience that taught us confidence, responsibility,
23:45and how to think beyond ourselves and how to think beyond the box.
23:49So basically this program, this platform,
23:52it gave young people like us a place to project our voices
23:57and most importantly, how to use those voices thoughtfully.
24:04I was so emotional. I can't believe.
24:07In the five days, actually, it did not go fast.
24:09It went so slow for me.
24:14Very, very nice memories.
24:16All of us dancing in the bus.
24:17All of us playing games.
24:18All of us teasing each other.
24:20It was very, very nice.
24:22Thank you everyone.
24:23In the most riskiest situations ever.
24:26And thank you everyone for giving such a memorable experience.
24:33Watching Delhi as a winner of this competition and not just as a tourist,
24:38was a really proud moment for me.
24:43It was definitely a learning experience.
24:45And it will be the biggest milestone of my life.
24:53This is the 12th edition of PTBA.
24:57The next year, 2027, 29th of January,
25:027.30 will be the valedictory function of 13th edition of PTBA.
25:35So in the eight hours,
25:36So you'll see you next week.
25:38But we'll see you next week.
25:38Bye.
