The United States and Iran made progress in talks over Tehran's nuclear programme on Feb 26 but hours of negotiation ended with no sign of a breakthrough that could avert potential US strikes amid a massive military buildup.

The two sides plan to resume negotiations soon after consultations in their countries' capitals, with technical-level discussions scheduled to take place next week in Vienna.

02:29But the parties can get creative and there could be joint economic and commercial projects
02:35that could be defined so that the U.S. could ensure that sanctions relief will be used
02:40to the benefit of the Iranian people and not for any other activity that could endanger U.S.
02:46interests.
