00:04Since the dawn of civilization, the powerful have conspired to twist the course of history to suit their own designs.
00:14Like puppeteers, a few shadowy figures could still be pulling the strings of destiny for billions.
00:22Those who cry conspiracy are usually mocked up, because sometimes the truth is so obvious it goes unnoticed.
00:30Are those merely paranoid fantasies cooked up to feed the appetite of paperback readers and web surfers, but which bear
00:37no relation to reality?
00:39Or are we living out some perfectly executed plan? Wars, revolutions, social movements, terrorist attacks.
00:48Everything is given an official explanation, but perhaps nothing is what it seems to be.
00:54Let's dare to unveil the incredible world of secret societies.
01:01The world is flooded with secret societies. Their members range from unknown citizens and eccentrics,
01:08to top executives in the most important companies, banks and even governments.
01:13Some have become famous in recent years because of the boom in conspiracy literature.
01:19Three of them in particular in recent years have caught the public eye.
01:22Skull and Bones, the Bilderberg Group and the Council on Foreign Relations or the CFR.
01:28To their members, these are nothing but innocent fraternities or simple think tanks.
01:33To their critics, parallel world governments.
01:35As always, the truth lies somewhere in between.
01:39The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
01:41The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
01:46The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
01:48The truth lies somewhere in recent years.

01:59The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
02:00The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
02:00The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
02:01The truth lies somewhere in recent years.
02:07The truth lies in recent years.
02:07The truth lies in recent years.
02:09The United States of America is the most powerful country in the world,
02:14the single remaining superpower that dictates the global agenda.
02:18But ironically, the political system of this champion of democracy
02:22was built under the guidance of mysterious fraternities
02:26and organisations we know little or nothing about.
02:32Secret societies have actively participated
02:35in the construction of the American governmental system.
02:39Freemasonry, to name just one society,
02:42left its imprint on the Declaration of Independence,
02:45the American Constitution,
02:47and on dozens of national symbols,
02:50from the Great Seal of the US to the Dollar Bill.
02:55This American passion for secrets, rituals, and exclusive clubs
03:00has been particularly strong in its universities,
03:04where the fraternity system was developed.
03:07The fraternities, or frats as they are most commonly referred to,
03:12are student associations with academic and philanthropic goals.
03:17However, they also abound in codes of silence and initiation rites,
03:22very similar to those found in Freemasonry and other secret societies.
03:28The first ever recorded frats were the Flat Hat Club and the Phi Beta Kappa,
03:35both founded at Yale University.
03:40Also in Yale, one of the most enigmatic and most notorious fraternities in the world arose,
03:46one that has always been favoured by the cream of American society.
03:49Its name, Skull and Bones.
03:54Skull and Bones was founded in 1832.
03:57Its original name was the Eulogian Club.
04:01Its creator was a merchant named William Huntington Russell,
04:06owner of Russell and Company,
04:07a transport company which was rumoured to smuggle opium into China during the Opium Wars.
04:14The name Skull and Bones probably comes from a curious tradition.
04:19During their meetings in the campus chapel at Yale,
04:23the society used to hang a scarf and two crossed shin bones upon the door
04:27as a warning that they should not be disturbed.
04:30The society was also known as the Order of Death,
04:34Cooperation Star,
04:36or simply the Order.
04:41In 1856, 24 years after its foundation,
04:44the Order was granted an important plot of land on the University campus
04:48and built its official headquarters there.
04:51It is a windowless stone construction that can still be seen today.
04:54They call it the Tomb.
04:58The Tomb has a dark, labyrinth-like layout
05:02that spans three floors and an attic.
05:05It compromises a number of halls and secret cabinets,
05:10chambers with mannequins in full armour,
05:12candlesticks,
05:14old photos, flags and manuscripts,
05:17and a sinister collection of bones
05:20supposedly belonging to historical figures,
05:23including the skulls of Mexican revolutionary Pancharila
05:27and the Indian chief Geronimo,
05:29and even that of Panamanian dictator General Omar Torrijos.
05:35In the keep of the labyrinth,
05:37there is a vault with the enigmatic number 322 on the door.
05:43Inside there are just two chairs and a table.
05:46This was where the candidates are said to meet Madame,
05:50a skeleton that is supposed to be that of Madame Pompadour.
05:56Their passion for bones and skulls could be considered in bad, albeit innocent, taste.
06:01However, a much more serious accusation hangs over the Brotherhood of Death,
06:06its sympathy for the Nazis.
06:09Critics of Skull and Bones insist that the society is not originally American,
06:14but rather an offshoot of some German right-wing order.
06:18This could well be true.
06:21Its founder, William Russell, did indeed live for some time in Germany
06:25before attending to his senior year at Yale.
06:28And it was actually on returning to the USA that he established the fraternity.
06:35Always according to its critics,
06:37the number 322, the order's identifying number,
06:42hides a coded message.
06:44The 32 represents the year of its foundation, 1832.
06:49And the additional 2 stands for the fact that it's the second chapter within an international order.
06:57Alexandra Robbins, a Yale graduate and author of a book on the subject,
07:01stated that the society owns a valuable collection of Nazi objects and memorabilia,
07:07and eats its dinners off Hitler's private silver service.
07:11A large part of their liturgy is written in German.
07:17Who's the fool?
07:19Who's the wise man, beggar or king?
07:24Whether poor or rich, all's the same in death.
07:29A sizeable part of the American military-industrial complex of the early 20th century,
07:35collaborated with the Nazi regime in Germany,
07:37contributing immensely to their rise to power.
07:40This historical fact is unknown to most people even today.
07:44Also unknown is the strong involvement of bonesmen in the pre-war German-American relations.
07:49But history keeps its own records, and the past always returns to haunt us.
07:55In 1930, Prescott Sheldon,
07:58President Bush, father of President George H, and grandfather of President George W,
08:03a member of the Skull and Bones class of 1917,
08:08and President of the Union Banking Corporation,
08:11engaged in a number of profitable business deals with Fritz Thyssen,
08:16the German steel tycoon who supplied Hitler's war machine.
08:22The UBC was closed by President Truman during the Second World War,
08:26under the Trading with the Enemy Act.
08:29In other words, for doing business with the Nazis.
08:35Apart from Prescott Bush, several other directors of the Union Banking Corporation in New York were also 1917 bonesmen,
08:44including E. Roland Harriman and Ellery Sedgwick James.
08:51In 1938, Bush, by then executive associate of Brown Brothers Harrington, issued a loan to Hitler's Germany to enable the
09:01latter to import American Standard Oil fuel.
09:05In 1941, the year the United States entered the war against the Third Reich,
09:10Standard Oil, which belonged to Rockefellers, bonesmen themselves,
09:14had six oil tankers sailing under Panamanian flags and manned by German crews.
09:20These vessels carried fuel from their American refineries to the Canary Islands,
09:25where their German submarines were being refuelled.
09:27In the meantime, Allied troops were losing their lives on European battlefields.
09:34Investigator Anthony Sutton claims that Skull and Bones is not at all an American society,
09:42but a branch of a foreign secret society.
09:45According to this expert, it is one of the reasons why secrecy in the order is so vital.
09:53However, the list of its members is a true who's who of American society.
09:58Many of these influential personalities are advocates of the American way of life.
10:04Skull and Bones membership certainly has its privileges.
10:08At least three American presidents were or are bonesmen.
10:12George W. Bush, his father George H. Bush, and William Taft.
10:19The proposition that this small club of the well-to-do pulls the strings of American power,
10:26and through it those of the whole world by placing its associates in key power positions,
10:32is supported by substantial evidence.
10:36The elections of 2004 saw the almost impossible come true.
10:42Both the Republican candidate, George W. Bush, and his Democrat rival, John F. Kerry,
10:49were members of Skull and Bones.
10:51That's to say, prior to running as representatives of parties,
10:55that supposedly propound opposite political visions.
11:00They had both sworn allegiance to the same mysterious principles.
11:05And what's worse, they share secrets that are not known to their own constituents.
11:13The million dollar question for American citizens, and the world as a whole,
11:18is do bonesmen put their frat fidelity above that of their civic responsibilities?
11:22As the BCCI case clearly shows, the answer is undeniably yes.
11:28By the end of the 1980s, the scandal concerning the Bank of Commerce and Credit International was making the headlines.
11:37The BCCI was accused of laundering drug money and financing terrorist operations.
11:44The scandal tarnished the reputation of the U.S. government, since the bank operated freely in America,
11:50and was a regular contributor to political campaigns.
11:54The administration of Bonesman George H. Bush blocked the investigation,
12:00which had in any case been entrusted to a Senate commission, chaired by Bonesman John Kerry.
12:07The BCCI was absorbed by more respectable banks, and the subject was never revived.
12:15Who runs Skull and Bones?
12:17And to what point are Bonesmen able to influence the decisions of fellow members?
12:21Perhaps by looking into their initiation rituals,
12:24we will be able to have some idea of what kind of power the society holds over its brethren,
12:29whether they are industry leaders, intellectuals or politicians,
12:33and speculate how they use that power should the need arise.
12:39Each year, only 15 students entering their senior year at the University of Yale are admitted.
12:46The candidates must have been tapped by those senior classmen of Yale University,
12:52who make up the current membership.
12:55The criterion for selection also includes the candidates' potential to increase the power and prestige of the society.
13:05Two votes against the candidate are enough for him to be rejected.
13:11During their initiation, candidates must recount all their sexual exploits.
13:16Finally, they are expected to perform various oaths, kiss some feet and drink blood.
13:27They then have to lie naked in a coffin,
13:31and, after masturbating in full view of the others,
13:34swear to never reveal their membership with the Order.
13:38The candidates are then introduced to their future companions,
13:41who wear masks for the occasion.
13:43Uncle Toby, Uncle Toby, the Knights, the Small Devil, Don Quixote and the Pope.
13:56Their ceremony ends with a grand party that lasts for hours.
14:02To imagine Presidents of the United States in this situation is highly disturbing.
14:07But even more distressing is to realise that the candidate is now subject to blackmail.
14:12All the brethren have witnessed the humiliation of the candidate.
14:15Each one has spoken of his darkest secrets.
14:18Nobody now feels he can break the pact of silence with the Order.
14:22As of that moment, betrayal is highly unlikely.
14:27The government of the world's only superpower is packed with bonesmen.
14:33George W. Bush named 11 bonesman officials in his first government.
14:38Add to this various senators, congressmen and chief justices,
14:43directors of the CIA, the Federal Reserve
14:47and directors of banks such as JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
14:52The American media is little different.
14:55Among others, Time and Newsweek magazines, in theory competitors,
15:02were both founded by bonesmen.
15:07The oldest and most influential families also belong to this select club.
15:12George W. Bush, Bundy, Harriman, Lord, Phelps, Rockefeller, Taft, Whitney.
15:23All of them have undergone the odd ritual of initiation.
15:27All have spilled their darkest secrets.
15:31All have been richly humiliated in front of their peers.
15:34And all of them owe loyalty to the Order.
15:40It is estimated that there are some 800 bonesmen alive today.
15:45Around half of them active and in key positions in the American economy
15:49and political establishment.
15:52There are plenty of reasons to be shocked just by what we have learnt so far.
15:56This is a secret society founded by an alleged drug lord
15:59that counts among its members, people who have financed the Nazis.
16:02Their members meet in a bunker supposedly full of stolen skeletons.
16:07And among its brethren, we find no less than the president of the most powerful country on Earth
16:12and also his main political contender.
16:15And Skull and Bones is not the only secret society that appears to be pulling the strings of world power.
16:21There are at least two other organizations who are suspected of foul play,
16:25ranging from economic manipulation to attempting to achieve world control.
16:30They are the Bilderberg Group and the mysterious Council of Foreign Relations.
16:57Skull and Bones has seen its power grow steadily since its foundation in 1832.
17:04In spite of its alleged early links to drug trafficking and Nazism,
17:09most of its known members are respected, influential politicians and businessmen.
17:14But Skull and Bones is not the only secret society whose influence reaches the highest ranks of power.
17:21There are more.
17:24One of the organizations most suspected of pulling the strings of world power behind the facade of an altruistic organization
17:31is the CFR,
17:33or Council on Foreign Relations.
17:35They are also hidden away here in Washington DC on the seventh floor of this building.
17:42They define themselves as a non-partisan resource for information and analysis.
17:47That is to say, an innocent think tank.
17:49But are they what they say they are?
17:52The answer to this question may hold the key to understanding the true origin of many events that happen to
17:57us every day,
17:58and seem to be a result of our own free will.
18:02The Council of Foreign Relations was founded during the First World War,
18:07when a university fraternity presented President Woodrow Wilson with a set of proposals
18:12that detailed options to reinforce world democracy when Kaiser Wilhelm II was eventually defeated.
18:20The proposals were backed by Colonel Edward Mandel House, advisor to President Wilson.
18:26Wilson presented the project to Congress in January 1918, where it was approved.
18:33And the CFR was officially founded in 1921.
18:37Its first sponsors were members of the most powerful families in the US.
18:42Rockefeller, Mellon, Harriman, Schiff, Kuhn, Lowe, and Carnegie.
18:51It was also backed by important foreign citizens, including multimillionaire, South African colonizer, Sir Cecil Rhodes,
19:00and European bankers, Warbo and Rothschild.
19:05The CFR makes no secret of who their members are or their activities.
19:10At least that's how it seems.
19:11Its headquarters are on Park Avenue and 68th Street in New York City.
19:15Its reports can be freely downloaded from the internet, where the CFR publishes a full webpage at www.cfr.org.
19:25It runs a newspaper that is the most prestigious political analysis journal in the United States, Foreign Affairs.
19:32It seems they have nothing to hide.
19:34However, its critics say that it's nothing more than a facade.
19:37That the CFR is a dangerous organisation, set on achieving full global control through the levers of economy and finance.
19:45In other words, they are like executives, out to privatise world power.
19:51According to its critics, the domination strategy of the CFR is to control both sides of confidence.
19:59And its ultimate goal, the creation of a private world government that would run countries as corporations.
20:09To achieve this, it would first have to erode the political structures of all sovereign states.
20:16Then it would have to foster worldwide socio-cultural stabilisation.
20:21And finally, it would have to impose a globalised financial system that it could control.
20:29Critics add that all of this would be achieved by provoking global conflicts that would keep the masses united against
20:37real or imaginary or common enemies.
20:41Any similarity with reality is surely pure coincidence.
20:46But can an organisation, no matter how hard it tries to manipulate the world, actually achieve this?
20:52If so, how much power would it need to amass?
20:57To be allowed to join the select 4200 members the CFR has today, it is mandatory to be American, or
21:07to be about to obtain American citizenship.
21:10The council is loaded with top executives, financial institutions, powerful industry leaders and mass media executives.
21:21Academics and scholars, high-ranking military personnel, politicians, public officers, deans of universities and research centres are also welcome.
21:34Their reports identify threats, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses and then offer operational, tactical and strategic planning in all the spheres
21:43of interest to the United States.
21:45The question is, is this for the better or worse?
21:48The list of its most prominent members is a conspiracy theorist's dream come true.
21:54Among CFR's most renowned members are David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Bill Clinton,
22:04former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros,
22:11Supreme Court Judge Stephen Breyer,
22:13Supreme Court Judge Stephen Breyer,
22:15Low CBS Network's President Laurence A. Tisch,
22:19former U.S. Secretary of State General Colin Powell,
22:23General Electric's former Chairman and CEO Jack Welsh,
22:29current U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice,
22:32W. Thomas Johnson,
22:35President of CNN,
22:36and Catherine Graham,
22:38President of the Washington Post,
22:40Newsweek,
22:42International Herald Tribune Group.
22:44That's not to mention,
22:46Alan Welsh Dulles,
22:48founding father of the CIA,
22:50and banker,
22:51Paul Moritz Warburg,
22:53who was born in Germany and emigrated to the United States,
22:56where in 1913 he drew up and promoted the legislation that would create the Federal Reserve Bank.
23:04This is the American central bank whose capital is not public, as would normally be expected,
23:10but is instead in the hands of private banks.
23:14The Federal Reserve is not the only institution related to the CFR.
23:19The International Monetary Fund behind me and the World Bank close by were both created by CFR members.
23:25These three organizations control most of the world's capital, as well as distribution and aid policies.
23:32That is to say, they decide who wins and who loses.
23:37Both the IMF and the World Bank have come in for some heavy criticism over many years for their lousy
23:45management of world crises.
23:47When instead of acting like last resort moneylenders as their mission states,
23:51they became involved in dictating the macroeconomic policies of deeply indebted nations,
23:58drowning them in more and more debt.
24:01This policy had catastrophic results for countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Turkey and Mexico.
24:10Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel Laureate for Economics, has repeatedly attacked the performance of the Fund,
24:18suggesting that it was the true cause of many of the aforementioned crises.
24:23This cannot be brushed off as hearsay, since Stiglitz was chief economist and senior vice president of the World Bank
24:31from 1997 to 2000.
24:34In other words, an insider.
24:40If we observe how the price of medical supplies generates gigantic profits for those who produce them,
24:46and at the same time kill millions of people who cannot afford to buy them.
24:50If we stop to think about the irreparable damage that multinational corporations carry out in the so-called third world
24:57countries.
24:57If we study the mechanisms of usurious loans of the world banking system that cyclically provoke crises that sink entire
25:06countries below the poverty line.
25:08It's worth asking, is economic war more effective than conventional war when it comes to achieving world power?
25:15Are the members of the CFR those responsible for carrying it out?
25:19Or is it all nothing but a natural by-product of the capitalist system?
25:24The idea of a world dominated by private corporations, led by the CFR, might sound nonsensical.
25:34These corporations have a joint turnover that is almost twice the GDP of the United States,
25:42and employ more than 25 million people in the United States alone.
25:49Their power is surely already strong enough to twist some political arms worldwide.
25:57Perhaps the CFR is just an innocent think-attentary, like its members say it is.
26:03One thing is certain.
26:05The undeniable and enormous power wielded by such a group of influential people.
26:11For better or for worse.
26:15What other secret societies pull the strings?
26:19Or better said, what other societies secretly pull the strings on the world stage?
26:24Or the mendians of Notre Dame?
26:27Or the two of them step of therakhhm?
26:44Most experts agree that one of the traits of contemporary secret societies is that they're
26:50no longer guided by ideology, but rather by pure and simple economics.
26:55In practice, this means that they use their influence in the corporate world to force
27:02entire countries to serve their interests.
27:06The average person is completely unaware of how national strategic decisions are taken,
27:12and whatever changes his vote may bring about happen only over the very long term, and usually
27:19prove to be merely cosmetic.
27:22If there's one secret society that has every characteristic needed to raise suspicion,
27:28it's the Bilderberg Group.
27:29Surely the most exclusive club on the planet, and perhaps the organisation that really controls
27:35the world.
27:37The Bilderberg Group is named after the Bilderberg Hotel in Osterbeek, Holland, where it first
27:44met.
27:46Its founders were Joseph Rettinger, a Polish émigré with social democratic ideas, and
27:53Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands.
27:56The annual meetings that it has held since then have been regarded as true milestones
28:02in international politics.
28:05For the occasion, each country sends two guests, one of whom is conservative, the other liberal.
28:11According to Prince Bernhard, the group was created as an entity destined to fortify the North
28:20Atlantic Unit, to stop Soviet expansionism, and to promote cooperation and the economic development
28:28of the countries of the West.
28:32Sometimes to better understand an organisation, you need to know more about the people who
28:36work for it.
28:37There are two interesting facts that question the integrity of the founder of the Bilderberg
28:41Group.
28:42Firstly, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands was an active member of Hitler's SS in his youth.
28:47Second, he had to stop heading the meetings in 1976 after being involved in the Lockheed
28:52scandal related to the purchase of fighter jets.
28:55On that occasion, Lockheed was found to have bribed Japanese, Dutch and Italian officers.
29:01The Nazi background of Prince Bernhard did not stop the Bilderberg Group from being supported
29:07by social democrats or by the Rothschild Bank or the Rockefellers, both of Jewish origin.
29:14Other early sponsors included the Wallenbergs, owners of Electrolux and Ericsson in Sweden.
29:21All of them still actively participate in the annual general meetings of the group, either
29:26directly or through their representatives.
29:30The only thing that this confirms is that when it comes to making decisions that will
29:34affect the world, ideology doesn't really play that much of a role.
29:38After all, business is business.
29:41The venue, the agenda and the participants are not secret.
29:46What remains undisclosed, however, are the topics discussed, since the meeting is held behind
29:52closed doors and no detailed reports are published.
29:57The conference takes place during a weekend in May and lasts three full days, usually a few
30:04weeks before the G8's annual meeting.
30:07A fleet of black limousines drives the guests to a luxury hotel or palace of choice.
30:14Security is tight and includes members of the attending countries' secret services.
30:22Their guests include bankers, top businessmen and media moguls, as well as European and
30:27American politicians and leaders.
30:29When looking at the meetings, we can get some idea of how the nations of the future will
30:33be.
30:34Economic power groups, owning both the world's capital and the means for production in an overpopulated
30:40planet, sick with poverty and short on natural resources.
30:45The past and present participants of the Bilderberg Group include the CEOs of France Telecom,
30:52Coca-Cola, Danone, Heineken, JPMorgan Chase, high ranking British, American and European officials
31:03and cabinet members, and the editors of newspapers such as El PaÃs, La Repubblica, Lo Figaro,
31:10The New York Times, Die Zeit and The Wall Street Journal among others.
31:18What should we think when meetings like these have among their participants the owners of
31:22media giants and still their secret agenda goes unreported?
31:26Where does their loyalty lie?
31:27With their audience or with this secret society of the rich and powerful?
31:33The most popular Bilderberg conspiracy theory states that the group is a test lab for policies
31:40and decisions that countries and powerful corporations will later implement.
31:45According to this theory, the guests exchange their views on the proposals made by the most powerful
31:51countries.
31:52Thus, it is possible to predict how these countries will react in real life and fine-tune the ensuing
31:59courses of action.
32:01In defence of the group, their most recent organiser, Vice-Count Etienne Davignon has been
32:07clear.
32:09I don't think we are a global ruling class because I don't think a global ruling class
32:14exists, he said.
32:17I simply think that it is people who have influence, interested in speaking to other people who have
32:21influence.
32:22And he added, when people say this is a secret government of the world, I say that if we
32:30were a secret government of the world, we should be bloody ashamed of ourselves.
32:35The Bilderberg agenda, according to its own press releases, is the world agenda.
32:40Whether its members can then carry it out or not, is open to discussion.
32:46The items on the Bilderberg agenda vary very little from meeting to meeting.
32:52A state of the world analysis, discussions on security in the West, debates on economic
32:59and political trends in the developed countries.
33:02As well as discussions on nuclear energy, and lately, biotechnology.
33:07Other famous guests at the group's meetings have included Giovanni Agnelli, then President
33:12of Italy's Fiat auto giant, and Henry Kissinger.
33:18Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and Angela Merkel attended before assuming public office, as did
33:25Kofi Annan, the former Secretary General of the UN.
33:28And Anne was married to Raoul Wallenberg's niece.
33:32Wallenberg, as we stated before, is the patriarch of the powerful Swedish family that has supported
33:38the group from its very beginning.
33:41Other participants have included Henry Ford II, George Pompidou, Helmut Schmidt and Baron Edmund
33:49Rothschild, together with the father of the American atomic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer.
33:57More names follow, Donald Rumsfeld, Alan Greenspan, George Soros, David Rockefeller, Queen Beatrice
34:09of the Netherlands, and US Senator and former presidential candidate, John Kerry.
34:14The list, while incomplete, represents the greatest amount of economic and political power.
34:19Ever concentrated in one single organisation.
34:24Curiously enough, there are no disloyal Bilderbergs.
34:27Nobody has broken the silence, and if they do speak out, they do so many years after attending
34:32the meetings of the group.
34:34By which time it is already too late to change events.
34:37For many, these brief statements are proof that the suspicions about the group are staggeringly
34:42true.
34:44Years after participating in a Bilderberg meeting, George McGee, former United States ambassador
34:52to Germany, said that the Treaty of Rome that created the European Common Market was born
34:59in the Bilderberg meetings.
35:02Jack Scheinkeman, chairman of Amalgamated Bank, and also a Bilderberg member, said in 1996,
35:09the idea of a common European currency was discussed a great many years before it came about.
35:17We also discussed the possibility of the United States re-establishing diplomatic relations with
35:23China before President Nixon actually did it.
35:29One naturally wants to dismiss conspiracy theories, but it was David Rockefeller himself, a member
35:34of Skull and Bones, CFR, and the Bilderberg Group, who said something that will be remembered
35:39as one of the most brutal confessions ever made.
35:45Something must replace governments.
35:48And it seems to me that private power is the adequate entity to do it.
36:13whether or not secret societies control the world is open to discussion.
36:19What is clearly undeniable is that the most powerful people in the world are indeed accustomed
36:25to belonging to one secret society or another.
36:30Currently there are three societies that seem to have a monopoly on influencing global policy
36:35from behind the scenes.
36:38Skull and Bones, the Council of Foreign Relations, and the Bilderberg Group.
36:45According to their critics, they are not different organisations, but the three heads of the same monster
36:51that is dead set on dominating the world through control of labour, capital and land.
36:59But there is a fourth organisation that conspiracy theorists keep bringing up.
37:04In contrast to the other three, its activities are public and nothing happens behind closed doors.
37:09However, that does not seem to stop the accusations against it.
37:13It is known as the Trilateral Commission.
37:17In 1973, David Rockefeller, also a member of the CFR, requested that his fellow Bilderberg members
37:24include Japanese representatives in the group.
37:28But the idea was turned down.
37:31He then created the Trilateral Commission, which compromises annual private meetings of some 350 people.
37:40Again, top businessmen and corporation executives, media moguls, politicians and non-governmental organisations.
37:49But this time, including the Japanese.
37:53The idea was to create a trial law involving Asia, America and Europe.
37:59US President Jimmy Carter was present at several of its meetings.
38:06But the Trilateral is not only criticised by sensationalist authors.
38:10One of the most striking accusations came from Barry Goldwater,
38:14former Democratic-American senator and presidential candidate,
38:18who described it in words that would make even the most paranoid person blush.
38:23What the Trilateral is really up to is the creation of a world economic power,
38:29exceeding the political government of the nations involved.
38:33As managers and creators of the system, they will govern the world.
38:39In the 1980s, it was not the left wing, but the right wing that lashed out at them.
38:44The American Legion, the veterans of foreign wars and the ultra-conservative John Birch Society
38:49denounced the Trilateral Commission and wanted Congress to investigate it.
38:53But their demands died, buried in red tape.
38:58During the 1980 presidential campaign,
39:00Ronald Reagan attacked Jimmy Carter by saying that there were 19 Trilateralists,
39:06including Carter himself, in the administration.
39:11Reagan pledged that if he were elected president,
39:14he would not stop until he had exposed all of the secrets of the Trilateral Commission.
39:20But when Reagan finally became president, he included in his government 28 members of the CFO,
39:2810 Bilderbergers and at least 10 Trilateralists.
39:32His vice-president was none other than Trilateralist George H. Bush.
39:40At this point, we must face one of the greatest mysteries surrounding secret societies,
39:45because the same names appear time and time again.
39:48Conservative and Liberal, Democrats and Republicans,
39:51Nazi sympathisers and Social Democrats,
39:54all seem to live under the same roof, in the pursuit of a common goal.
39:58Although they seem to have radically opposing views,
40:01in reality, they obviously share some of the same interests.
40:05The only possible explanation for this is that an establishment actually exists within the establishment.
40:12Perhaps that is what President George H. Bush was talking about
40:16when after the Gulf War in 1991, he spoke of a new world order.
40:22What is at stake is more than one small country.
40:28It is a big idea, a new world order,
40:33where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause
40:37to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind.
40:44There are just too many coincidences to ignore,
40:47too many signs that suggest something is terribly wrong.
40:50After all, if we ourselves had that much power, money and access to classified information,
40:55who could say we would not also use it for our own benefit?
41:00If we follow the course of history since the Industrial Revolution,
41:05we will see a fascinating sequence of events unfolding
41:08that seem to prove the conspiracy theory,
41:12or at least provide major arguments for it.
41:16First, the ever-increasing concentration of cash and other resources in a few private hands,
41:24such as banks and gigantic multinational corporations.
41:29Corporations whose revenues are equivalent to the GDPs of entire countries,
41:35and whose mere survival demands more and more profits year after year,
41:42no matter the social cost.
41:45Second, the creation of public multilateral control organizations
41:50that are actually nothing but the public arm of powerful private interests.
41:55These organizations include the American Federal Reserve, the World Bank and the IMF.
42:04Third, the undeniable advance of the process known as privatization.
42:10That is, taking non-renewable natural resources,
42:15communication infrastructures, heavy industries,
42:19as well as defense, health and banking systems,
42:22out of the hands of the people,
42:24and delivering them into the clutches of profit-hungry private corporations.
42:31Fourth, the phenomenon of cultural and financial globalization
42:35that, in truth, amounts to little more than the imposition
42:39of a dominant cultural and economic system upon those of peripheral countries.
42:45Fifth, the creation of worldwide conflits and stereotypical enemies
42:50to manipulate public opinion and destroy any possibility of discussion or dissent,
42:57leading to the actual laws of many of the most elementary democratic rights.
43:02The US Patriot Act of 2001 is a good example of this.
43:08When panic attacks, people tend to accept more and more control.
43:14Finally, and most interesting of all,
43:18that almost all of the key players of these events,
43:21those who are really taking the decisions
43:24and hold the true political and economic reins of the West
43:27by being in command of its capital, armed forces, or even votes,
43:33are coincidentally grouped in just a few societies
43:37that meet behind closed doors.
43:44Are Skull and Bones, the CFR, the Bilderberg Group, and the Trilateral Commission the cause or the consequence?
43:51Does membership mean enjoying certain privileges?
43:54Or is it that only those who enjoy certain privileges can become members?
43:59Does it really matter?
44:00Just look around and draw your own conclusions.
44:04Perhaps it's time to understand that nothing is a coincidence,
44:07that events are all interrelated and are always serving a higher power,
44:11and that, though hard to see, is in plain view to us all,
44:15if only we know where to look.
44:17Otherwise, while believing we are masters of our own destiny,
44:20we will be merely puppets in a play controlled by the sinister hands of secret societies.
44:27The
