00:00Hey everyone and welcome back to the channel. Have you ever been in the middle
00:04of something important and suddenly bam the blue screen of death? It's frustrating
00:09I know. That dreaded blue screen usually means something is seriously wrong with
00:13your Windows system files. But don't panic. Today I'm going to show you two
00:18powerful built-in Windows commands that can fix most of these issues without you
00:22needing to be a tech genius. Let's get your PC back in shape. First we need to
00:27open command prompt as an administrator. It's simple. Click on your start menu
00:32type CMD right-click on command prompt and choose run as administrator. You'll see
00:37a black window pop up. This is where the magic happens. The first command we'll use
00:42is SFC which stands for system file checker. This tool scans all your
00:47protected system files and replaces any corrupted ones with a good copy. In the
00:51command prompt window type SFC a space a forward slash and then scano. So that's
00:57SF scan out. Press enter. This process might take a little while maybe 10 to 20
01:02minutes. So grab a coffee and let it work. It will scan your entire system and
01:07automatically attempt to repair any bad files it finds. Once the SFC scan is
01:13complete it will tell you if it found and fixed any problems. Now for the second
01:17more powerful command. This is especially useful if SFC can't fix the issue. We're
01:28using the command command prompt. This tool can repair the core Windows system image
01:31that SFC uses for its repairs. In the same administrator command prompt window type
01:37DISM a space a forward slash online another space a forward slash cleanup image another
01:43space a forward slash and finally restore health. Let me say that again. DISM online
01:50cleanup image restore health. Press enter. This command connects to Windows update to
01:55download fresh clean files to replace any corrupted ones in your system image.
02:00This one can also take a bit of time so be patient. After the DISM command finishes
02:05it's a good idea to run the SFC a scan out command one more time just to make
02:09sure everything is perfect. Restart your computer and with any luck your blue
02:14screen issues and system corruption problems will be a thing of the past.
02:18These two commands are incredibly effective for maintaining a healthy Windows system.
02:23So there you have it. A straightforward two-step fix for one of the most annoying PC problems.
