00:00It has been 15 years since we last, well, almost 16 years since we last saw these characters.
00:04Have you guys been thinking about these characters for the last 15 years?
00:07Have you wondered what they've been up to?
00:09Have you thought about how they dealt with the pandemic, anti-vaxxers, all of these things?
00:14Definitely when pandemic happened, when Zach and I started doing the podcast,
00:18that definitely sparked my interest in what would Turk be doing at this time.
00:25And clearly he would be at the hospital doing his best to save lives and stuff like that.
00:30But he would definitely be worried about Carla.
00:33There's so many stories there.
00:35That's a great question.
00:36That's a whole other offset of the show.
00:39That's a time jump.
00:40I think one of the things I was most excited about this job was figuring out the way back in
00:44and where we would all be.
00:47And I loved it when I read the pilot of this.
00:50It felt like reading the original pilot.
00:51But I loved where they had all of our characters wind up.
00:55And I won't spoil it.
00:56We're all now, obviously, at such a different stage
00:59and really have become great, confident doctors and leaders.
01:02So to get back into the same characters, but 25 years after we started them, was really cool.
01:08Yeah, I think it's exciting to see what are they like now.
01:10You know, we're 50.
01:15Donald and I are 50.
01:16I'm grown.
01:17I'm 35.
01:18Sarah bizarrely remained 35.
01:20And so how do we still maintain the same humor, which Donald and I, you know,
01:27as very silly best friends naturally have, even still at our age,
01:32but also show an evolution that they're not 25-year-old kids.
01:36They are great teachers.
01:38They are great leaders.
01:39And I was interested in exploring what that would be like.
01:43I don't know.
01:44You
