00:00Looking for smart glasses without cameras, these are my top pick, the Even Realities G2.
00:05These have quickly become one of the most recognizable AI smart glasses thanks to their
00:09unique frames, lack of cameras, and dual-eye monochrome heads-up display that gives you
00:14quick access to your notifications, live transcriptions, translation, navigation,
00:20teleprompter, and a whole lot more. Personally, it was the teleprompter that first got me
00:25interested in these, and I have been using them for most of my recent videos, including this one
00:29because of how easy it makes everything. These cost $599 and another $159 if you add a single
00:38prescription. Even R1's smart ring for $249, which in addition to its health tracking features,
00:43lets you tap and scroll the menus of your glasses without ever reaching for them,
00:47which makes it a lot more discreet. At certain angles, yes, you might notice the green tint on
00:53the lenses, but for the most part, you'd never know these were smart glasses. Battery life is decent,
00:58lasting up to two days on a single charge, and you'll get up to seven full charges with the case.
01:03Downsides? I wish there were more colors and frames to choose from like we find on some of
01:08the newer competition like the MemoMind Ones. Also, unlike the MemoMind Ones, these lack speakers,
01:14which would have been great for listening to music or taking calls without needing to use my AirPods
01:18every time. So, if you're after smart glasses that still look and feel like normal glasses
01:24that focus on productivity features instead of cameras and media, then the Even Realities G2
01:29are one of the best pairs they can get right now.
