00:04chicest accommodation looks like. I made the trek to Switzerland to check into the lodge,
00:07Virgin's ultra-exclusive mountainside retreat at the base of Verbier, and it's every bit the
00:12fantasy stay you'd expect from the over-the-top brand. There are just nine rooms in the chalet,
00:17some with fireplaces, soaking tubs, and all with jaw-dropping views. Though small, the residence
00:22has more than enough entertainment space to go around with a billiard room, full-service spa,
00:26an outdoor hot tub, and even a resident pup, Ada, who will beg you for a game of fetch.
00:32Unlike a hotel, guests are welcome to join a communal breakfast and dinner, allowing you to
00:35make friends with whoever is bunking up next door, and sitting in the living room together,
00:39surrounded by personal family photos, and playing the Branson family's favorite games.
00:43However, its biggest flex is sitting just a few steps from the gondola, which whisks you
00:47right up the mountain, where you can shred all day, stopping only for lunch at spots like
00:52Carrie Four for Fondue, and Opry at Ferre Cheval. Then, take the few steps home to rest,
00:57recharge, and be ready to do it all again tomorrow.
