In post-production limiter was used only for limiting occasional microphone wind noise.
On a September day in 2019, we went to Nuuksio National Park, in the northern Kattila area, with intern Zhang to record Videoworks Finland’s first Sound of Nature videos. I left Zhang to record sound of nature video on a hill covered with trees on the shore of a small lake Vähä-Holma and went some kilometers further to record another Sound of Nature video myself.
The autumn forest is quite quiet, but in this video birdsong can be heard. The lake is windier and for this reason we placed the camera to record a little further from the lake shore, on top of a hill. The hum of the wind from the forests near the shore is clearly audible.
