00:00Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down 30 of the most bizarre and unnerving guests to ever set
00:07foot on Dr. Phil's set.
00:09You want to take this outside? Because I think they can bring cameras outside.
00:12It's long come into question whether Dr. Phil can really help anyone, but some of these stories prove he's far
00:18out of his depths.
00:19She's reincarnated from being Jesus?
00:22Yes, yes, yes, she has the documentation.
00:26Number 30, Sexy Vegan.
00:28He has 15 arrests, incredible dance moves, and a new name, Sexy Vegan.
00:35After Dr. Phil has finished lecturing Sexy Vegan's mother for being an enabler, the man of the hour makes one
00:41of the most shocking entrances ever.
00:44I am the beautiful vegan messiah.
00:49He has a self-aggrandizing air, insulting the entire crowd for their inability to match his talent.
00:55Hey, hey, look at me.
00:57Let's see your talent.
00:58No, hey, hey, hey.
01:00No, you need to look at me.
01:02It's one of the most common Dr. Phil bits.
01:05He's running up Mommy's credit card and loses his temper quickly.
01:08But Sexy Vegan's off-the-rails temperament makes him stand out amongst a sea of spoiled brats.
01:14I'll tear around the mirror with me, so I'll look and see that I am dark-dead gorgeous.
01:18My image is very important to me.
01:20I look at my collection mirrors all the time to study myself and my beauty.
01:23He's mostly featured in vignettes, getting kicked off moments after appearing on stage.
01:29Okay, take him out.
01:31Security, get him out of here.
01:33Thank God.
01:34Thank God.
01:37No.
01:38When he returns in a later episode, he apologizes for his antics and says he was fortunate enough to find
01:44help.
01:45Well, after the show, I thought I was going to get committed.
01:48I just had that feeling.
01:50Like, when the security was escrowing out, I'm like, uh-oh.
01:52Number 29.
01:54The Human Cyborg.
01:56Oren, an exceptionally bright young man, has built elaborate lore around his life as a cyborg from the future.
02:02He's committed to the bit, reciting lines like he's from the Terminator universe.
02:06There is an apocalypse in the future.
02:08We have seen it in our dreams and in our visions.
02:11Predictably, Oren's parents are concerned about his fascination, but even more so about his lack of ambition.
02:16This isn't the young man that I saw walk across the stage when he graduated.
02:23He's changed.
02:24He does his thing for the cameras, but this charade immediately split viewers.
02:28The planet will be destroyed.
02:30Will you be mechanized by then?
02:32We are already mechanized.
02:33Some felt he was expressing neurodivergence in an extreme way, while others believe it was all an act for internet
02:39clout, and they might be onto something.
02:42Like fellow Dr. Phil alum Bad Baby, Oren has gone on to release music, which has garnered a good bit
02:47of buzz, and of course, suits his signature cyborg style.
02:55Number 28.
02:56Taylor Swift's Soulmate.
02:58Riley is one devoted fan Taylor may never be able to shake off.
03:02And that's because he isn't just deeply infatuated with her.
03:06He also believes he wrote a number of her songs.
03:09Do you believe you wrote the song?
03:11I do.
03:12You wrote Kryptonite.
03:13That one, um, um, sure, sure.
03:18It's, it, it, at this point, I mean, we could go over a list of a hundred different songs that
03:23I feel that I have written.
03:24The show has seen a number of celebrity stalkers over the years, but Riley's devotion is unrivaled.
03:30And I want to make it clear, I do believe that, uh, Taylor Swift and I are soulmates, and I
03:34love her with the kind of love that you would want forever and always.
03:39His parents are there to aid Dr. Phil's assessment, but Riley goes off on tangents that highlight strange levels of
03:46fantasy.
03:46I believe that everything that we are seeing and perceiving now has already happened.
03:53We're just catching up with our five senses and really experiencing it fully.
03:57So, destiny.
03:59Eventually, Dr. Phil drags him around the stage to highlight parts of his delusion board.
04:04Sadly, instead of getting help, he just gets mocked on television.
04:08And you can string a bunch of buzzwords together and get them confused, but you and I, you and I
04:14know, you know damn well you didn't write those songs.
04:17Fair enough.
04:17Number 27.
04:19My allowance isn't enough.
04:21Usually, a desperate parent writes in to get help with a troubled child.
04:25In this case, Nicolette, a 15-year-old used to an opulent lifestyle, asks for Dr. Phil's assistance in convincing
04:32her mom to increase her allowance.
04:34I need her to understand that I need at least $2,500 a month.
04:38She asserts that $1,000 a month isn't enough.
04:41It seems this guest has some self-awareness about being a brat.
04:45There's other reasons I'm not just, like, being a brat about that.
04:47But that doesn't stop her from having one of the most cringeworthy meltdowns in the show's history.
04:52Absolutely, she needs a job.
04:54No!
05:02The audience reacts as you'd expect, laughing at her tears.
05:06Whether or not the story is embellished, Dr. Phil makes sure to end the segment with a zinger.
05:11She doesn't need a job babysitting.
05:12She needs a job in the world.
05:14No!
05:15She doesn't need a job at home.
05:16Absolutely not!
05:16She needs a job in the world.
05:17Absolutely not!
05:21Number 26.
05:23PTA Mom Wars.
05:24The internet loves to mock PTA Karens and their obsession with bake sales.
05:29But this story developed in a rather sinister way.
05:32But threats against your life.
05:33That is how I took them.
05:35Dr. Phil sits down with two PTA rivals, who both point the finger at the other for being crazy.
05:41She seemed unhinged, and she was issuing threats.
05:44It's a he-said-she-said tirade that seems like it's getting nowhere.
05:48But when the dust settles, it's clear that Jill had harassed Kelly for years over a schoolyard disagreement.
05:54I mean, what do I make of it?
05:56She's nuts.
05:57I'm not a doctor.
05:58But even I knew it the day I met her.
06:00Kelly, then the PTA president, even had drugs planted on her.
06:05After a 2016 civil trial, it was determined that Jill was responsible for framing Kelly for a number of crimes
06:12she hadn't committed, including possession.
06:14She's pled guilty to creating these problems in your life.
06:18Now she's coming, sitting down, talking to me, saying, it didn't happen.
06:22Rewatching the interviews, it's pretty easy to tell that Jill spoke with a malicious conviction.
06:27How did she try to kill you?
06:29Well, what I was saying was that she had issued these threats.
06:32Number 25.
06:33Mother-daughter sugar baby team.
06:35I totally support my daughter being a sugar baby.
06:38In fact, I am one.
06:39Most parents come on Dr. Phil to set their kids straight.
06:43But this mom is here to embrace her daughter's risque lifestyle.
06:46In fact, she says she learned everything she knows about being a sugar baby from her daughter Riley.
06:51I do consider myself a rookie, but my daughter Riley is a professional sugar baby.
06:56Sure, they're both adults and can consent to getting paid for dates if they want to.
07:00But after admitting to visiting clients as a mommy-daughter duo, things get a bit icky.
07:05I have been on some dates with my daughter.
07:07It was very awkward.
07:08They share their do's and don'ts with Dr. Phil, and it's clear they mean business.
07:13I am proud of Riley.
07:14Riley is definitely a businesswoman.
07:16So while we tip our hats to these women getting their bills paid,
07:19it's still a strange line of work for them to participate in together.
07:24Number 24.
07:25Bailey with no boundaries.
07:27It's a love story of the modern age.
07:29Bailey is in love with Jasmine, only they've never actually met.
07:33And Jasmine is most certainly not in love with Bailey.
07:36Bailey, why am I not yours?
07:40And Jasmine says, because I don't know you.
07:43The two exchanged a number of messages over social media,
07:46and Jasmine lets her know the relationship isn't real.
07:49But Bailey reads into her tweets, even driving out to see her.
07:53And I tweeted right before I left, I said, tell me not to drive to Atlanta.
07:57And she tweets, I don't care, I don't care, I'll adore you.
07:59And so that's what made me decide to drive.
08:02Dr. Phil is clearly enraged with this guest,
08:05checking her for implying he'd rigged the segment against her,
08:09going as far as to bring out a producer to take his side.
08:12What do you tell people when they ask you what I'm going to talk about or not talk about,
08:16or do or not do?
08:16I always say I have no idea.
08:18Because you don't.
08:19It's up to Dr. Phil, because I don't know.
08:21Ultimately, he shuts the segment down when she becomes too melodramatic,
08:25despite that seemingly being the whole purpose of his series.
08:28And y'all can laugh at me.
08:29It's fine.
08:30I will be your spectacle.
08:32I will be your laughing, laughing spectacle.
08:34You can all laugh at me.
08:35It's fine.
08:35Well, you know what?
08:35I think we're just going to shut this down,
08:37because I'm not into all this melodrama,
08:39and you play in the victim and everything.
08:42Number 23, Dick Masterson.
08:45A man who truly lives up to his name,
08:47Dick is an over-the-top, chauvinistic, misogynist.
08:51Women should not be allowed to vote.
08:53It's ridiculous.
08:54A woman president would be a disaster.
08:56It's unclear why he was afforded a platform on Dr. Phil,
08:59but his vignette is full of insults against women,
09:02comparisons of females to dogs,
09:04and even references to Hitler.
09:06You can't blame women for what they do wrong
09:08in the same way that you can't blame a dog
09:10for what it does wrong.
09:11It's your fault for not training properly.
09:16Oh, come on.
09:18Unsurprisingly, he's shredded by the audience.
09:21The booing sounds distinctly high-pitched.
09:24It's a shocking segment,
09:25likely rage-bait on the producer's part.
09:27Men are better than women.
09:29That's not going to answer my question.
09:30Take those stupid glasses off.
09:32I'm sure Dr. Phil can back me up on this.
09:34Show us how you look.
09:35Worst of all,
09:36this kind of incel has always existed
09:38and still exists in spades today.
09:41It's clear Dick believes what he's saying.
09:44Or so it seems.
09:45On a 2023 podcast,
09:47he claims he was just trolling.
09:49I started writing the site,
09:50menandbetterthewomen.com,
09:52as a joke.
09:53I mean, well, not completely.
09:54Whatever.
09:55But it's obvious he takes pride
09:57in being the Andrew Tate blueprint.
09:59Have you ever had Tate on the show?
10:00No.
10:01Because you've had Tate on back in the day.
10:02Yeah, I kind of think I started it twice.
10:05You kind of thought you were the one.
10:06I think I,
10:06the entire blueprint for it.
10:08Did you know I wrote
10:09Men Are Better Than Women, the book?
10:10So even if no harm was meant,
10:12harm was certainly done.
10:14Number 22,
10:15the infamous Octomom.
10:17Nadia Suleiman gained
10:19international notoriety in 2009
10:21when she gave birth
10:23to the first surviving set of octuplets.
10:25Adding eight children
10:26to a family of six
10:28was scrutinized by doctors
10:29and everyday people alike,
10:31who felt these IVF treatments
10:33were unethical.
10:34She was a single mom
10:35with no steady income,
10:37but took to multiple shows,
10:38including Dr. Phil,
10:40to clear her name.
10:41They're not medically fragile.
10:42They're doing extraordinary.
10:44It's remarkable how well they're doing.
10:45Dr. Phil was all over this story,
10:48even calling medical professionals
10:50to the stage to debate
10:51whether Octomom or her doctors
10:53were acting in good faith.
10:54I think that it's important
10:56to point out
10:56that this entire clinical management
10:59of this patient
11:00has been done backwards.
11:02Years later,
11:04Nadia came back to the show
11:05to admit that she should have
11:06never become pregnant
11:07with eight kids
11:08and insists she didn't even mean to.
11:11But the menacing music
11:12under her monologue
11:13indicates that the producers
11:15aren't quite buying her story.
11:17So why,
11:18why did you try to have?
11:19I didn't.
11:21I tried to have one more.
11:23One baby.
11:24Number 21,
11:25Mother God Herself.
11:27If we accept that a number
11:29of Dr. Phil segments
11:30feature overacting guests
11:32only looking for national attention,
11:34then this case
11:34is the furthest from that.
11:36The love has won cults leader
11:38actually Skyped
11:39into Dr. Phil in 2020.
11:41As I serve love every day
11:43and I am in love and action
11:45every moment,
11:46that is my role.
11:47Amy Carlson,
11:48who referred to herself
11:50as Mother God,
11:51defended the actions
11:52of her new religious movement,
11:54insisting she had
11:55supernatural insights
11:56beyond our understanding.
11:58For me,
11:59I did not abandon my children.
12:01I begged my angels not,
12:03I didn't want to leave.
12:05And they told me
12:06I had to go on mission.
12:07If I didn't do it,
12:08then no one else would.
12:09In a bizarre move,
12:11her family had actually
12:12summoned her there
12:13to have Dr. Phil
12:14deprogram her.
12:15But it was obvious
12:16she was too far gone.
12:18So 14,000 years
12:20you've been
12:22on this earth
12:23before Christ.
12:25That's correct.
12:26It's no wonder
12:27you're tired.
12:29In 2021,
12:31police investigated
12:32the cult
12:33for the abuse
12:33of its members.
12:35Instead,
12:35they found Amy's
12:36mummified corpse.
12:38After taking
12:39colloidal silver
12:40as a cure-all
12:41for various ailments,
12:43Amy quite literally
12:44turned blue
12:45and passed away.
12:46Her story
12:47was the subject
12:48of an HBO documentary
12:49and remains
12:50one of the darkest
12:51Dr. Phil segments
12:52of all time.
12:54All this energy,
12:55it belongs to us.
12:56And if you're not
12:56in right action,
12:58you're out.
12:59Number 20,
13:00Amy and Sammy
13:01from Kitchen Nightmares.
13:02Let's begin
13:03with a nice crossover
13:04between Dr. Phil
13:05and Kitchen Nightmares.
13:07Amy and Sammy
13:08first appeared
13:08on the latter series
13:10and were met
13:10with fierce backlash
13:11regarding the way
13:12they handled criticism.
13:14It was also
13:14the first time
13:15that Gordon walked away
13:16from a restaurant,
13:17realizing that
13:18there was nothing
13:19he could do
13:19to change the attitude
13:20of its owners.
13:21Amy and Sammy
13:22later appeared
13:23on Dr. Phil
13:24to defend themselves,
13:25but it mostly
13:25boiled down
13:26to Sammy yelling
13:27at people
13:28and the couple
13:28basically saying
13:29they weren't
13:29the only restaurant owners
13:31who act
13:31in a belligerent fashion.
13:33Everyone behaves
13:34the way my husband does.
13:34That's where he comes from
13:35and you go to each restaurant
13:36and they're all screaming
13:37and yelling
13:37and no one comes
13:38into a restaurant
13:39to try to bully you
13:40or harass you or anything.
13:41but when the world's watching,
13:42you might want to keep
13:42a lid on it.
13:43We think they were
13:44trying to clear their names,
13:45but they only made
13:46the situation worse.
13:48All those people
13:48you see,
13:49they were actors
13:50for Kitchen Nightmare.
13:52Number 19.
13:53Pastor Tom
13:54and his 19-year-old
13:55pregnant girlfriend.
13:57Tom is a 61-year-old pastor
13:59who's married
14:00to two women,
14:01one of whom,
14:02Reba,
14:02is 19 years old,
14:04pregnant,
14:04and has known Tom
14:05since she was a child.
14:06We have been looking
14:07for another wife
14:09to add to our family
14:10for a few years.
14:11Tom's other wife,
14:12Belinda,
14:13claims that she and Tom
14:14had wanted a polygamous marriage
14:16for a long time
14:17and that she was elated
14:18when Reba was married
14:19into the family.
14:20She also states
14:22that she doesn't intrude
14:23on their relationship
14:24and that Tom alternates
14:25his nights
14:25with Reba and Belinda.
14:27We happen to have
14:28a great age difference
14:29and both of them
14:29are going to outlive me.
14:30I get it.
14:31While the situation
14:32seems to be working
14:33for this thruple,
14:34Phil doesn't hold back,
14:35saying that their
14:36sexual relationship
14:37creeps a lot of people out.
14:39We'll let you decide
14:40for yourselves.
14:41Number 18.
14:42The Digital Kidnapper
14:43April and Nathan
14:44are parents of
14:45four-year-old twins
14:46confronting a woman
14:47named Ashley
14:48who stole photos
14:49of their daughters
14:49off Facebook
14:50and passed them off
14:52as her own children online.
14:53And I can't even
14:54get joy out of
14:55my little girls
14:56because I'm freaked out
14:56every person that looks
14:57at them or talks to them
14:58is someone that's
14:58related to you
14:59that can smack them up
15:01and steal them from me.
15:02Taking the deception
15:03even further,
15:04Ashley has concocted
15:05an elaborate story
15:06regarding her children,
15:08has framed photos
15:09of the girls in her house,
15:10and has a fabricated story
15:11to go along
15:12with every single
15:13stolen picture.
15:14I had made mistakes
15:15in my life
15:17and I was sent to prison
15:18and I lost custody
15:19of them because of that.
15:20Ashley, of course,
15:21denies everything
15:22despite very clear evidence
15:24to the contrary.
15:25For four years,
15:26you followed our family
15:27for four years,
15:29everywhere we've gone.
15:31I mean, how violated
15:32can you even imagine
15:34that we feel?
15:35Number 17.
15:36Eating Disorder
15:37on Full Display.
15:38Dr. Phil has sometimes
15:40been questioned
15:41for its ethics.
15:42Is it okay to show
15:43interviews of troubled
15:44individuals to an
15:45impressionable viewer?
15:46Show how disciplined
15:47I can be
15:48and how I'm one of the
15:50best anorexics out there.
15:52In this episode,
15:53Jordan,
15:53who struggles with anorexia,
15:55speaks to Dr. Phil
15:56about wanting to lose
15:57more weight.
15:58Jordan admits that
15:59she loves the attention
16:00she receives
16:01from her clearly
16:02distraught parents
16:03and the shocked
16:03expressions her appearance
16:05elicits when she
16:06passes people on the street.
16:07She says she does it
16:08because it pisses you off.
16:11Ultimately,
16:11it's sad to see someone
16:13enduring such obvious
16:14mental health issues,
16:15but hopefully her struggle
16:16with an eating disorder
16:17can educate others
16:18and inspire sufferers
16:20to seek help
16:20for themselves.
16:22Number 16.
16:23The woman who is
16:241,000% certain
16:25of a three-year pregnancy.
16:27Most pregnancies
16:28last 40 weeks.
16:30Zona's alleged pregnancy
16:31has been going on
16:32for over 170,
16:34or so she says.
16:35My belly has continued
16:37to grow for the
16:38three and a half years,
16:39but it does grow
16:40at super low rates.
16:4140-year-old Zona
16:42appeared on Dr. Phil
16:43claiming to have been
16:44pregnant for three years
16:45and seven months,
16:47despite having her
16:47tubes tied at 20.
16:49And like any expectant mother,
16:52Zona has visited doctors,
16:53all of whom
16:54could not find a baby.
16:55Zona chalks this up
16:56to their ultrasounds
16:57having too many megahertz.
16:59Because I have heard
17:00that I have stage 4
17:01bladder cancer.
17:02Someone told you
17:03you had stage 4
17:04bladder cancer
17:05and you did nothing
17:06about it.
17:06And despite Zona
17:07feeling movement
17:08and heartbeats,
17:09the OB-GYN
17:10Dr. Phil hired
17:11to study her
17:12said that Zona's
17:13anatomy is normal
17:14and that there was
17:14nothing in her uterus.
17:16We don't know
17:16what's going on here,
17:17but it's certainly
17:18not a baby.
17:20Number 15.
17:21Woman is being poisoned
17:22by her husband.
17:23If you thought this list
17:24couldn't get any more tragic,
17:26think again.
17:27He injected me
17:28in my eyes,
17:29on top of my eyelids,
17:30in between my eyebrows,
17:31my temple,
17:32forehead,
17:33on my chin.
17:33A woman named Pat
17:35believes that her husband
17:36Mira is poisoning her
17:37to keep her sedated
17:39so he can assault
17:40their daughters.
17:41As proof,
17:42she shows needle marks,
17:43which are nothing more
17:44than regular skin bumps.
17:46My wife has been diagnosed
17:47with paranoid schizophrenia.
17:49She's so paranoid
17:50that she sleeps on the floor
17:51of her daughter's bedrooms,
17:52barricades the doors,
17:54and wears a softball helmet
17:55to protect herself.
17:57Mira claims that she's been
17:58diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia
17:59and has been committed
18:01in the past.
18:02My dad was like
18:03putting me to sleep
18:03and he kissed me goodnight.
18:06And then my mom said like
18:08for him to get away from me.
18:10It's a horrible story
18:11of a family being torn apart
18:13by mental illness
18:14and it makes for
18:15devastating television.
18:17Number 14.
18:18The 756-pound man.
18:21Because Robert hadn't weighed himself
18:23in five years,
18:24Phil brought in
18:25an industrial scale
18:26and discovered
18:27that he weighed
18:27an unbelievable 756 pounds.
18:30I just miss being able
18:31to ride a bike
18:33and play basketball
18:34with my friends
18:34and going out
18:36and being active.
18:37Robert's daily life
18:38was as difficult
18:39as you would expect.
18:40He desperately wanted
18:41to be active
18:42and was tired
18:43of feeling lonely
18:44and trapped.
18:45Robert was sent
18:45to Wellspring Academy
18:46and lost 260 pounds,
18:49although he had
18:49unfortunately gained it
18:50back by 2015.
18:52In 2021,
18:54he passed away
18:55from COVID at age 32.
18:57Number 13.
18:59Racist against her own race.
19:01This segment bears
19:02a scary resemblance
19:03to the BAN episode
19:04of Atlanta
19:05and it's so bizarre
19:06and surreal
19:07that it could easily
19:08be taken for satire.
19:09I know a lot of people
19:10take issue
19:11with my beliefs.
19:12I'm white.
19:13The guest is Treasure
19:14and she believes
19:15that she's white.
19:16She spouts tons
19:17of disgusting racist language
19:19toward black people
19:20and has the KKK's
19:22number on speed dial.
19:23Plus, they're so thug
19:24and criminal
19:25but I can't relate.
19:26Okay.
19:29Her ignorant attitude
19:31and racist views
19:32do not improve
19:33when we follow her
19:34onto the street either.
19:35I feel like people
19:36have the right
19:36to refuse service
19:37and I feel like
19:38they would probably
19:39steal something
19:39so of course
19:40they should be asked
19:40to leave.
19:41Shocking and strange,
19:42this interview
19:43is difficult
19:44to sit through.
19:44I mean,
19:45that's just
19:47so riddled
19:48with ignorance
19:49I don't even know
19:50how to respond.
19:51Okay.
19:53Number 12
19:54Hayley
19:54Crazy,
19:55I'm tired
19:55of playing
19:56these games
19:57and it's about
19:57to be over with.
19:58This young woman
19:59appeared on the show
20:00claiming first
20:01that she was Eminem's
20:02daughter despite
20:03family members
20:03stating they all
20:04knew her real father.
20:06I know it's Jesus.
20:07I know you're crazy.
20:09There's no denying that.
20:11She later claimed
20:12that she was
20:12nine months pregnant
20:13and would be
20:14giving birth
20:15to baby Jesus
20:16despite taking
20:17multiple pregnancy tests
20:18that all came back
20:19negative.
20:20I don't care
20:21what the home
20:22pregnancy test
20:22or the doctor
20:23say.
20:24When I give birth
20:25to my baby
20:26no one is going
20:27to deny him.
20:28The tension
20:29between this guest
20:30and her family
20:31was palpable
20:31as the sister
20:32and mother
20:33both constantly
20:34deny Hayley's claims
20:35and dismiss her stories
20:37as cries for attention.
20:38Number 11,
20:39the teen
20:40who killed
20:40her own mom.
20:41It's not often
20:42that Dr. Phil
20:43interviews somebody
20:43this troubled.
20:44For this special episode,
20:46Phil interviewed
20:47Rachel Hudson,
20:48a teenager
20:49who murdered
20:49her sick mother.
20:50Like I knew
20:51things weren't
20:51going to get better
20:52once my mom passed.
20:53Rachel explains
20:54that her mother
20:55was not well,
20:56having suffered
20:56multiple heart attacks
20:57and kidney failure
20:59and that she wanted
21:00to end both of their lives
21:01to relieve her family
21:03of their burden.
21:04After killing her mother,
21:05she sent a photo
21:06to her disbelieving father
21:08who repeatedly asked
21:10to speak to his wife.
21:11You did not have
21:12the right to decide
21:13for your mother
21:14when she ended
21:16her life.
21:16however labored
21:18and difficult
21:19her life course was.
21:21Another.
21:22It's a heavier story
21:23than Dr. Phil's
21:24typical brand
21:24and it leaves
21:25a dreadful
21:26lasting impression.
21:28Number 10,
21:29Danielle Bregoli.
21:30This is exactly
21:31how you act
21:32with a therapist.
21:32You don't talk.
21:33Nope.
21:34You have to be
21:35pretty darned memorable
21:36on this program
21:37to become a meme.
21:38Danielle Bregoli,
21:39now known as
21:40the rapper
21:40Bad Baby,
21:41both stunned
21:42and entertained
21:43the world
21:43when she appeared
21:44on Dr. Phil
21:45and her signature
21:46catchphrase,
21:47cash me outside,
21:48how about da,
21:49instantly became
21:50a cultural sensation.
21:52Cash me outside,
21:54how about da?
21:54Huh?
21:55Cash me outside,
21:56how about da?
21:57But while that was
21:58funny and all,
21:59the then 13-year-old
22:00Bregoli was still
22:00a very scary
22:02and shocking guest.
22:03She openly admitted
22:04to stealing credit cards
22:05and vehicles,
22:06laughed while describing
22:07instances of physical
22:09violence towards her mother
22:10and threatened to fight
22:11both her mother
22:12and the audience.
22:13I steal cars,
22:15I steal her credit cards,
22:16I ain't gonna lie,
22:17there's no reason to lie,
22:18everybody know I already lied.
22:19Number 9.
22:20Tyler Perry's Wife
22:22I met Tyler Perry
22:24through his official
22:25Facebook account.
22:27A woman by the name
22:28of Carla
22:29appeared on Dr. Phil
22:30claiming to be
22:30Tyler Perry's wife,
22:32only, you know,
22:33she isn't.
22:34According to her,
22:35Perry messaged her
22:36on Facebook
22:37and they instantly
22:38became friends.
22:39Now, he proposed to you
22:43on...
22:43Via video,
22:44he proposed to me.
22:46On video?
22:46Through an app, mm-hmm.
22:47So you saw him?
22:48No, I didn't see him.
22:49Once Tyler proposed
22:51over the internet,
22:52he asked for money
22:53for his various charities
22:54and Carla sent him
22:55$100,000,
22:57leaving her flat broke.
22:58Her daughters rightfully
22:59assumed that it was
23:00all a scam,
23:01but Carla wasn't having
23:02any of it.
23:03Do I believe I'm being scammed?
23:04No, I don't believe
23:05I'm being scammed.
23:06She also believed herself
23:07to be the mother
23:07of Perry's real son,
23:09somehow.
23:10It's a sad
23:11and upsetting story
23:12combining the worst
23:13aspects of celebrity
23:14worship and gullibility.
23:16He's real.
23:17It's possible.
23:18It is not possible
23:19that he's fake.
23:20I wouldn't be here
23:20doing this.
23:21I'm not that type
23:22of person
23:22to waste my time.
23:23Number 8,
23:24Peyton's racist father.
23:26My dad has called
23:27my son a critter,
23:28a monster,
23:29a creature.
23:30A lot of things
23:31can tear a family apart,
23:33including racism.
23:34Guest Peyton's dad
23:35is a member
23:36of the KKK
23:36who served nine years
23:38in prison
23:38for manufacturing bombs
23:40to blow up
23:40an abortion clinic.
23:42He also refuses
23:42to acknowledge
23:43his grandson,
23:44Peyton's child,
23:45because he's half black.
23:47One drop of non-white blood,
23:49it ceases to be human,
23:50and since it's not human,
23:52it is not my grandchild.
23:54According to Peyton,
23:55her father has called
23:56her child a slew
23:58of derogatory terms.
23:59In his words,
24:00his grandson
24:01is not human
24:02because he's not 100% white.
24:04And because he isn't human,
24:06he couldn't possibly
24:06be his grandson.
24:08It's a sickening,
24:09heartbreaking story,
24:10and one of Dr. Phil's
24:11most challenging to watch.
24:13I love my daughter
24:14with all my heart,
24:16but the thing is,
24:18I cannot go against
24:20my moral and religious beliefs
24:22and accept her child.
24:25Number 7,
24:26Mackenzie and her family.
24:28We constantly have to
24:30keep an eye on Mackenzie
24:31because we never know
24:32what she's going to do next.
24:33Nine-year-old Mackenzie
24:34is a hard child to manage,
24:36as seen in home videos
24:38of her toppling furniture,
24:39screaming,
24:40and attempting
24:40to bite her mother.
24:42You're biting me!
24:43Stop it!
24:45Her mother also claims
24:46that she's punched
24:47her brother in the face,
24:48thrown scissors at a teacher,
24:50and attempted to topple
24:51her cousin's crib.
24:52She also relays
24:53a horrific story
24:54of the time Mackenzie
24:55stood in traffic
24:56hoping to die.
24:57So when we were
24:58at my sister's house,
24:59Mackenzie ran into
25:00a busy road
25:01and just stood there
25:02just holding her arms out.
25:03Her ongoing treatment,
25:05including heavy doses
25:06of pharmaceuticals,
25:07isn't any comfort
25:08or help.
25:09Worse still,
25:10she likely suffers
25:11abuse from her father.
25:13It's a tragic story
25:14depicting a violent home life.
25:16I don't have the vocabulary
25:19to tell you
25:22how outraged I am
25:24at the medications
25:25that have been thrown
25:26at this child.
25:27Number 6,
25:28Tanya Ramirez.
25:30Your friend knew
25:31what you were doing.
25:32Yeah.
25:35Am I in the twilight zone?
25:38Now here's a story
25:39for the ages.
25:40A 29-year-old teacher
25:41by the name of Tanya Ramirez
25:43gave her phone number
25:44to a 17-year-old student.
25:46This student then appeared
25:47at her doorstep one night
25:48and they slept together.
25:50And the student filmed
25:51the encounter
25:52with his phone.
25:53He then distributed
25:54the video to his friends
25:55and it soon spread
25:56throughout the school,
25:57leading to Ramirez's termination
25:59and a second-degree
26:00felony charge.
26:01She, in turn,
26:02sued the student
26:03and his mother
26:04for defamation.
26:05If she's not
26:06a sexual predator
26:08as she says
26:10that she's not,
26:12then why did you
26:13plead no contest
26:14to a second charge?
26:16To make matters worse,
26:18the student's mother
26:18called the footage
26:19quote,
26:20not that good,
26:21implying that she,
26:23you know,
26:23watched her son's video.
26:25You cannot make
26:26stuff like this up.
26:27Did you think he showed it
26:29around school
26:29for bragging rights?
26:31From what I've heard,
26:32yes, it was
26:33exactly what it was.
26:34Number five,
26:35Patricia.
26:36My mother did
26:37a local news story
26:38telling everyone
26:40that she had
26:41stage 3 cancer.
26:42A woman by the name
26:43of Patricia
26:43claimed to have had
26:44stage 3 cancer
26:45and according
26:46to Patricia's daughter,
26:48she told her story
26:48on a local news channel
26:49to receive attention
26:50and collect
26:51possible donations.
26:53I need Dr. Phil's help
26:54to tell her
26:55that she, in fact,
26:57does not have cancer
26:57and that what she is doing
26:59is wrong.
27:00Patricia then told Phil
27:01that she had had
27:02brain cancer,
27:03had numerous tumors removed
27:05and that her entire face
27:06was detached
27:06for the procedure.
27:08I have had 17 strokes,
27:10brain surgery,
27:11plates in my head,
27:12pneumonia,
27:13collapsed lungs
27:14and two near-death experiences.
27:17And while she did,
27:18in fact,
27:18have some form
27:19of brain surgery,
27:20her medical records
27:21disprove almost everything
27:23else she said.
27:24According to Patricia's
27:25daughter,
27:26she, quote,
27:26made the story up
27:27after her husband died.
27:29I do care about my mom.
27:30She did have
27:31a major brain surgery.
27:33She had an AVM.
27:34Number four,
27:35Aneska.
27:36Violence
27:38makes me feel comfortable.
27:40Here's another awful story
27:41featuring 12-year-old Aneska.
27:43According to her parents,
27:44Aneska is out of control,
27:46to put it mildly.
27:47How so?
27:48Well,
27:48she chases her siblings
27:49with knives,
27:51attacks her sister
27:51and sets fire
27:53to comforters.
27:54They also say
27:55that she once killed
27:56a family pet
27:56and crushed a baby bird
27:58after finding a nest.
28:00When Aneska was seven,
28:02she went outside.
28:03She got into a bird's nest.
28:05She killed the baby birds.
28:07According to Aneska,
28:08the voices in her head
28:09told her to do it.
28:10This is,
28:11by any standard,
28:12a terribly sad
28:13and disturbing case.
28:14And Aneska is easily
28:16one of Dr. Phil's
28:17most troubled guests.
28:18The brain's engine
28:20is out of sync
28:21and not in rhythm
28:22with itself,
28:23which might explain
28:24why she's having
28:25a lot of aggression
28:26and impulse control.
28:28Number three,
28:29Burke Ramsey.
28:30When somebody comes
28:31in your room
28:31with a flashlight
28:32and you never get up
28:33and say,
28:34what is going on here?
28:36In 1996,
28:37child beauty queen
28:38JonBenet Ramsey
28:39was murdered in her house.
28:40The case remains unsolved
28:42and after 20 years,
28:44her brother Burke
28:44broke his silence
28:45and granted an exclusive
28:47interview to Dr. Phil.
28:48I'm not the worry type.
28:50I'm not the,
28:51I guess part of me
28:51doesn't want to know
28:52what's going on.
28:53Some people took issue
28:54with it.
28:55Many viewers noted
28:56Burke's awkward
28:57and fidgety demeanor
28:58and found him
29:00unsettlingly unreliable.
29:01This forced Dr. Phil
29:02to defend Burke
29:03on his show,
29:04claiming that Burke
29:04was just nervous.
29:05Burke is a shocking guest
29:07not only because
29:08of his emergence
29:08after 20 years
29:09with a horrific account
29:10of the night
29:11his sister was killed,
29:12but because his appearance
29:13caused so much controversy
29:14and discussion in the media.
29:16For a long time,
29:17the media,
29:17basically made
29:18our lives crazy.
29:20Number two,
29:20Nikki.
29:21Do you really want help
29:22or do you just want
29:23to have a baby
29:24and then go back
29:25out on the streets?
29:26In this episode,
29:27we watch as a woman
29:28with substance use disorder
29:29is chastised
29:30by her family.
29:32Sadly,
29:32Nikki is eight months pregnant
29:34and heavily involved
29:36with opiates.
29:37When Nikki was very close
29:38to having a baby,
29:39she lived in a van
29:40and dabbled in sex work
29:42so she could buy herself
29:43and her boyfriend heroin.
29:44And then go buy some drugs
29:46and come back
29:46and we'll be used together.
29:47How much did you get?
29:48I got 60 bucks.
29:49She also admitted
29:50to overdosing
29:51when she was seven months pregnant
29:52and that she prioritizes
29:54these substances
29:55over her baby.
29:57I've been doing this
29:58for 40 years
30:00and you,
30:01girl,
30:03are circling the drain.
30:04However,
30:05Nikki returned
30:05to the show
30:0613 months sober,
30:08seeming to be firmly
30:09on the road
30:09to recovery.
30:10I work at a treatment center.
30:11I manage a halfway house
30:13part-time for women.

30:35Zachary Davis
30:36Did you kill your mother?
30:41It's not often
30:42that a convicted murderer
30:43gives an interview
30:44to Dr. Phil,
30:45but here you go.
30:46In 2012,
30:47teenager Zachary Davis
30:48killed his own mother
30:50with a sledgehammer.
30:51Dr. Phil interviewed him
30:52two months before his trial,
30:53one which eventually led
30:54to a life sentence
30:55for Davis.
30:56And this was easily
30:57the creepiest
30:58and most shocking interview
30:59in Dr. Phil history.
31:01Where was she
31:02when you did this?
31:04She was in her room.
31:06What was she doing?
31:08She was a slave.
31:10Davis detailed
31:11why and how
31:12he murdered his mother
31:13and throughout the interview,
31:15he simply stares
31:16at the doctor
31:16with emotionless eyes
31:17and speaks
31:18in an unnerving,
31:19jigsaw-esque,
31:20monotone voice.
31:21The interview
31:22is full of tension
31:23and horrific content,
31:25and we can barely
31:26stand to watch it.
31:27Are you sorry
31:28that your mother's dead?
31:34Yes.
31:35Which of these guests
31:36rattled you the most?
