Transcript
00:04Hey guys, it's me, Casey, and we're here on the set of High School Musical 2 at the beautiful pool.
00:09And as you can see, it says, absolutely no cameras, no cell phones, no exemptions.
00:16Except you and me. So let's go, let's go check it out.
00:20Troy!
00:23As you can see, we have a gorgeous pool here.
00:25We've got all of our beach stuff set out, and of course our camera equipment so we can start filming.
00:30Oh yeah, hands. We're going to be out in the set all day, so make sure you have your seats.
00:38But there's a lot more than that to see, so come on, let's go.
00:41We're back. We're back here in Utah for High School Musical 2.
00:49I feel like we're back home, we're back where it all began, and it's a fantastic feeling.
00:55It's been a year and a half since we shot the first movie, and to be back with a lot
01:00of the same dancers and crew members and everybody, it's just so cool.
01:04You want to know my favorite thing about the movie-making business?
01:07Is that it's magical. Not everything's always real, and what you see is not always what you get.
01:12This rock I'm standing on, it's fake, it's made out of wood and styrofoam.
01:17So there wasn't enough rocks for us, so what do we do?
01:20Make our own!
01:29It is day 12, and it is our first day back in St. George, and it's actually my first day
01:33shooting on the golf course.
01:34It is so beautiful out here right now. I mean, look at this. Is there anything better than this?
01:38This is heaven right now.
01:40But it's been really fun. We've been shooting here all day.
01:42It's pretty much the scene where Zach and I end up caddying for Mr. and Mrs. Evans, and I actually
01:47got to do my first little stunt-type thing.
01:52What's up, everybody? It's Lucas. Day 17, shooting of High School Musical 2.
01:57I am here at the Entrada, or Lava Springs, Country Club Golf Course.
02:02This is actually lava rock.
02:04It's coming from a lava flow that happened a really, really long time ago.
02:08And it's just this giant field of black rock against this, you know, seemingly natural green grass.
02:14It's pretty beautiful out here. I can't tell you how awesome it is.
02:20Action.
02:20I'm not gonna stop, not gonna stop till I get my shot.
02:24That's who I am, that is my plan.
02:26We'll end up my time.
02:27Bad on you, bad on you, bad on you, bad on you.
02:31Bad on you, bad on you, bad on you.
02:34This is on Native American land.
02:36This land has been in the Paiute Tribe for thousands of years.
02:41And, in fact, we're only, like, 15 miles from the Chevrolet's Paiute Preservation.
02:46The Kayabelle Paiute.
02:48So this was all their sacred land at one time.
02:52I thought it would be wonderful to sort of come back to a place that we all recognize.
02:57It's been really cool to, you know, get back with the crew and, you know, our director, Kenny.
03:02And I never thought, when he was explaining what St. George was about, I was like, oh, really?
03:06He's like, yeah, the red rocks.
03:07And then I came here, and I'm like, oh, my gosh, like, you know, it's really cool.
03:21We have the clubhouse, so that's the country club.
03:24We've got the golf course.
03:25We've got the pool.
03:26Incredible pool.
03:27We were shooting amazing stuff last night.
03:29The location here, it just couldn't be any more perfect.
03:35The weather is so nice here.
03:36I'm just in heaven right now.
03:42And right behind me is where the action takes place for one of our big finale numbers, all for one.
03:48We had over, like, 100 extras up there dancing.
03:51It was so hot.
03:52It was so much fun.
03:53So let's rock and roll and just let go.
03:57Thanks for coming on the tour with me.
03:58Hope I see you again soon.
03:59We'll see you again soon.
04:04Bye.
04:07Bye.
04:10Bye.
