00:39How do you love the experience being on reality TV?
00:42Has it been fun?
00:43Yes.

00:44And what's interesting is I find that being on reality TV, you kind of, there's eyes all over you, right?
00:52So it kind of gives you more of a reason to be yourself, because if you're not yourself,
00:58you're going to get caught, and you're kind of seeing that with some of the, not just our show,
01:02but other shows where you can see that they're kind of, you know, pretending or they're being someone
01:09that they want people to see them as, and so it's kind of a humbling experience to be able to,
01:15like,
01:15truly be vulnerable and be yourself, and I feel the most present when I'm being filmed, which is crazy.
01:22I love that, and also I love how you are enjoying the experience and doing it in such an authentic
01:27way, which the viewers can tell, because you really just seem like you are just giving us
01:30all of you, but you're no stranger to kind of putting yourself out there, because you
01:34have such a platform on social media.
01:35How has the journey from that to reality TV, has it felt kind of just like, oh, it feels
01:41the same or it feels different?
01:42I mean, I think it feels very different, because about almost all my content until recently
01:49on socials has been character-driven, so I'm acting like my dad or wearing a wig and acting
01:54like my mom, but I seldom am truly myself, Reza Jackson, and so on the show, I'm myself,
02:03and so it's sort of a big difference in terms of, it's not acting, right?
02:07Was that exciting for you, or at first it was a little scary, you're like, oh my god,
02:10I know, like, people are going to know me.
02:13Not, maybe a little scary, but I was just like, am I as funny and entertaining just being
02:18myself and not these characters, and just watching back in the show, it honestly makes
02:24me feel more confident in Reza Jackson and not just the characters, which has been very
02:30pleasant.
02:31I do love that for you.
02:31You did walk in shimmying, so that's confidence and fun, because you are entertaining.
02:34I'm like, I am funny!

02:37Have you learned anything about yourself by watching yourself back on the show?
02:43I think I've learned that I, like, shine when I don't overthink, because at the beginning
02:51of filming, I'd say something, I'd do something, and I'd be like, shit, why did I say that?
02:55Oh my god, people are going to think of me like this.
02:58But then I realized that the more I'm myself, the better it plays, and the more comfortable
03:07I am.
03:07So that's been my compass.
03:09Yeah.
03:09To just be myself, that's the truth.
03:11As long as I'm being myself, I'm doing a good job, and that's the lesson that I've learned.

03:16And has that lesson of being yourself helped you in the dating realm?
03:20I mean, I've always, I'm excited for this answer.
03:24I mean, I've always been myself during dating, so that's why I think, I mean, I don't know,
03:29I've been successful at, I don't know if I've been successful at dating.
03:34I haven't been able to hold a relationship for long, but I've been able to connect with
03:41a lot of connections.
03:44It's like LinkedIn, you know, okay, I'm sure you've been endorsed, yes.
03:48Accept, accept, accept, follow back.
03:51But like, unpacking that, do you feel like it's just kind of like, because your lifestyle
03:55is very busy, or are you just like, in the past you haven't been ready for like, a full-on
03:59really committed type of situation?
04:02This sounds a good question for my therapist, but I've got a good answer.
04:06I have the turtleneck, you're on the couch, it's kind of happening.
04:08I mean, I think historically, I haven't been used to dating for a very long time, and
04:14throughout those years, I've started to realize that that's kind of like validating
04:23a void, right, and it's maybe a fear of commitment, and that's why I even say it on
04:29the show, and I've said it over and over again, I am a retiring playboy, because now I'm starting
04:35to recognize that all that, all those like, hookups don't mean anything, and they fade,
04:41right?
04:41It's just like, quick, in and out, like, and you have fun.

07:34I mean, just being on the show really sort of motivated my intention for, like,

07:44And, like, I'm obsessed with their kids, especially Cece.
07:48And I'm obsessed with how Amir treats his wife.
07:52He, like, won't even order Uber Eats.
07:54He'll drive to McDonald's and grab it and bring it back.
07:57Like, he's all about acts of service.
07:59That is real love.

08:01And she's so sweet and such a caretaker that, like, and the kids are beautiful.
08:06So seeing that, I'm like, this is, like, amazing.
08:10And this is something that I should aspire to be like.
08:12Because all these one-night stands are definitely not hitting the heart like what they have.

09:24Oh my God, do you remember your first vivid memory of Michael Jackson, like the first time you saw him

09:30I remember, so back in Iran when we were, when I was probably like five, six, we didn't all have
09:36VHS and getting the tapes was like kind of something that the richer family members had.
09:42So we'd gather around our rich cousin's house, like the cousins, there's like eight of us, and he would play
09:48They Don't Care About Us, the music video, the one in Brazil, Rio.
09:52And that's sort of my first actual memory of watching Michael.
09:55And we were all obsessed, but I just started dancing.
09:58And you also have, you have lyrics tattooed on you.

10:29And then also, just thinking back to that one episode with the medium, the whole Natasha and Amir of it

10:42Like you asked earlier, like how is it being on reality TV?
10:45Like so, so absolutely present and feeling the moment and hearing everything and being with everybody else because the emotion,
10:53everyone was crying.
10:55Even production was.
10:56Yeah.

10:57It was a very real moment.
10:58And I even talked to Natasha about this after.
11:01And like that was their first time addressing it in the middle of all these people and camera crew and
11:08everything.
11:09And I was just so proud of her for being so vulnerable and also proud of Amir, you know, the
11:15next episode where he finally breaks through.
11:19Because as a man, he's sort of holding it together because he didn't really cry when the medium was there.
11:24But later, and he's been holding it in.
11:26You can tell he's like trying to do it for the family.
11:29But later on, he just breaks down and it was, it's so real.
11:34And I think now they're in a better place because that elephant is no longer in the room.
11:38And it's a beautiful thing.
11:39It's an unfortunate thing.
11:40And the wife said that she loved Natasha, which was probably so beautiful for her to hear.
11:45Wow.
11:46So got the seal of approval.
11:47Yeah.
11:48Which is so amazing.
11:49Well, speaking of real moments, what more even realer moments can we look forward to during the rest of.

12:14And the dynamic between the group and I think Skye, like individually, and the dynamic with the group.
12:22And I think it's going to have a pretty big, big bang ending for the last episode.
