00:00So you got Jordan Davis, final year of his fifth-year option.
00:04Mauro Jomo, final year of his rookie deal.
00:06And then you got Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith, both now eligible for a fifth-year option in long-term
00:11deals.
00:12Do you see any of those guys getting new contracts this offseason?
00:16Yeah, I think Jordan, as he enters that fifth-year option, there's incentive for both sides to get that done.
00:24You know, right now, that fifth-year option is kind of just like a giant chunk of cap space.
00:29And the Eagles don't like giant chunks of cap space if they can avoid it in one-year deals like
00:34that.
00:35And he's earned it.
00:36You know, I think that he's a player who's worth keeping if he can come to some sort of a
00:41long-term deal.
00:42I also think paying Jalen Carter, I know that some people might think that there's risk involved there.
00:48I mean, from the moment they drafted that guy, it was like, yeah, when he gets three years in the
00:54league
00:54and he's eligible for a contract, you give him the contract.
00:57Because I think he's that type of player long-term.
01:00Morrow, you know, unfortunately, like, I don't think there's going to be a good opportunity to pay him
01:07if you pay those other two defensive tackles.
01:09He can't pay everyone on the line.
01:11And then for Nolan Smith, I think it might be beneficial for both sides to just wait on that one.
01:17Did not have the year he anticipated last season.
01:21And their injury concern with the pec, or not the pec, the tricep.
01:28So I think that maybe from his perspective, it makes sense to play out the next year.
01:33And I think from the Eagles' perspective, you don't want to, like, low-ball an offer there.
01:37So maybe you hold off on that one.
