00:04Okay, a really good day, and I want to just compliment, first of all, our guys and also
00:12Cincinnati for being professionals.
00:15You know, you always worry about, you know, guys, you know, going off and fighting and
00:18all those things, and they were great.
00:20They stayed on their feet, stayed away from the quarterback on both sides, and did a really
00:25good job of just being professional.
00:26And they were physical, and we got some really good work done.
00:28So, a lot of good situations in that practice.
00:31Like I said, that's the first time I've done that one-day joint practice, and again, I thought
00:36it was really good.
00:36A lot of good work in the kicking game, as you guys saw.
00:40Certainly, with that long period, we have a kickoff, kickoff, return.
00:43That was very beneficial for us to be able to go back and look at that punt and punt return.
00:48That was really good, too.
00:49But again, we finished off with a two-minute at the end.
00:51I thought that was good with the ones and twos.
00:53A lot of good work overall.
00:56In terms of the starters this week, you know, I'm just going to say this.
01:01We feel really good about our plan and the process that we've been through so far in training
01:06camp.
01:07And you will see the starters in that game.
01:11You know, so, again, I talked about competitive reps the other day, and I feel like we've
01:15gotten a lot of good competitive reps.
01:17You know, ones-on-ones, a lot of good situations.
01:20This day was another chance for us to get competitive reps against another opponent, another skill
01:25set, which was outstanding.
01:27And then this week, coming up on Saturday, we'll get another chance to get some reps there,
01:31too.
01:31Yeah, it was fun.
01:33Obviously, a lot of rain out there today.
01:34Kind of favors the defense a little bit.
01:36But it was exciting.
01:38Obviously, I've played against Joe Burrow, you know, a lot over the years.
01:40I know how good of a quarterback he is.
01:42So, anytime we get a chance to go up against him and kind of test out some of the things
01:46we're doing coverage-wise that can kind of confuse him a little bit, it's always fun.
01:50But I feel like the defense brought a lot of energy, got some takeaways, got three turnovers,
01:54so that's always like the goal of the day, to get three turnovers.
01:56So, pretty happy with what we've done and what we did today.
01:59We'll watch the film and just get better from the stuff that we need to do.
02:01Just a good to give us a different look, and we'll see plenty of three-down teams throughout
02:05the season.
02:06So, I think that's good for us up front in terms of how we're identifying things in the
02:10run game, pass game, for protection purposes.
02:12So, you know, we were – it was a quick turnaround to Cincinnati.
02:16It's not like we do a ton of prep on them going into this week, but it's always good to
02:20see different looks and, you know, kind of get that situated and learn from that.
02:23So, you kind of get today and then, you know, you get another day with the game on Saturday
02:28to kind of get that work in versus that three down front.
02:30So, always good to see little different things, and obviously, against different personnel
02:34is a good thing for us, too.
