Beast from Haunted Cave is a 1959 horror/crime film directed by Monte Hellman and starring Michael Forest, Frank Wolff and Richard Sinatra. It was produced by Gene Corman, Roger Corman's brother.

Plot:
Gangster Alexander Ward, his girl friend, Gypsy Boulet, and two henchmen come to Deadwood, South Dakota with the idea of stealing a few gold bars. They enlist the aid of a local ski instructor, Gil Jackson, and plan to use him as a guide out of the territory after the robbery. However, a blizzard forces them to take refuge in Jackson's cabin. Ward has plans to kill Jackson after they have no further use of him, but they had used an explosion in a cave to serve as a distraction during the heist, and this explosion had irritated the big spider that lived there and, sure enough, all hands have to seek refuge in the cave from the fury of the storm.

00:01:36How's he doing?
00:01:37Not bad.
00:01:39Well, he whip it, you know. He always does.
00:01:42Always does what?
00:01:43Whatever he wants.
00:01:45Yes, sir. Mr. Alexander Wood is a very capable jet.
00:01:50Don't you, uh, ever get thirsty?
00:01:53Not at 10 in the morning.
00:01:55Well, it was exactly at 10 a.m. that Mr. Martini had rented the olives.
00:02:04That was terrific. Just terrific.
00:02:07It feels just like you're flying and you could keep on going forever.
00:02:11What a perfectly delightful idea.
00:02:13South star ready?
00:02:15Still.
00:02:15Well, are you, uh, ready for the Olympics yet?
00:02:19Gypsy, you really ought to try it. It's a brand new feeling.
00:02:22You mean I missed one?
00:02:24Had enough for today?
00:02:26Yes, Gil.
00:02:27I'm expecting Mr. Smith and Mr. Jones.
00:02:30They've been out seeing the sights.
00:02:31I hope the sights are tied down.
00:02:33Well, Mr. Jones and Mr. Smith want to take a lesson today?
00:02:36Yes, I think they'll...
00:02:37They'll probably be wanting to take one all night.
00:02:40Well, I doubt that.
00:02:41There's a cougar on a rampage in this area.
00:02:44I don't think I'd be frightened with you around.
00:02:47Sir Jackson looks as though he could take care of anything, doesn't he, Alex?
00:02:52Happiness Lodge.
00:02:53Your place is well-named, Gil.
00:02:55Thanks. I like it.
00:02:57Mighty hard place to get to, though.
00:02:59I like that, too.
00:03:01I bet you're hard to get to.
00:03:05Good job, Gil.
00:03:06Hiya, boss.
00:03:07Have a good time?
00:03:07Good enough, boss.
00:03:08Boy, this place is great.
00:03:11We went through a barn full of horses,
00:03:13and we took poroid pictures of people skiing and fishing.
00:03:17Oh, yeah, and we found a mine.
00:03:21Gypsy and I are going back to the lodge.
00:03:23I think it might be a good idea for you two to stay up here
00:03:25and let Mr. Jackson show you the ropes.
00:03:28He'll need one to hold him up.
00:03:30They'd better learn if we're going to make that cross-country run tomorrow.
00:03:35Drop by the lodge later.
00:03:37I'd like to take a look at those pictures.
00:03:38Right, boss.
00:03:39Let's go, Chimpy.
00:03:45What are you trying to do?
00:03:47Make that yokel suspicious?
00:03:49Did I see something wrong, my sweet?
00:03:52Someday I'm going to shut that pretty little mouth of yours for good.
00:03:56Promises.
00:04:05Oh, give me a home where the weightlifters run,
00:04:12where the rough and the rugged ones play.
00:04:17Where it never ends hard and it's given its worth.
00:04:28Who would remove them this?
00:04:30Quiet!
00:04:31You don't have to yell.
00:04:32I said shut up!
00:04:34Richie's okay, boss?
00:04:36You could have gotten some more of the mine area.
00:04:38What's the fault like?
00:04:40A cracker box with an iron door.
00:04:44Fine.
00:04:46Well, boys,
00:04:48I think we've got a classic going here.
00:04:52Marty,
00:04:53tonight you're going to go up and plant the charges in the mine, right?
00:04:56Righto.
00:04:57Tomorrow morning at 8.30,
00:04:59Gypsy is going to take the cowboy up on the ski lift to get him out of the way.
00:05:03At 9 o'clock,
00:05:05the mine blows.
00:05:07And everybody runs to see the disaster.
00:05:10It'll look big.
00:05:11Then we move into the administration building,
00:05:15make the heist,
00:05:17grab the ski lift,
00:05:20and meet the other two at the top for the trip.
00:05:23Simple.
00:05:24Simple as you, little boy.
00:05:26So then we wait at Jackson's cabin
00:05:27until Tassar shows with the plane, right?
00:05:29Right.
00:05:35Come in.
00:05:38Hello, Gil.
00:05:39Marty.
00:05:41How are the leg muscles?
00:05:43Oh, they're a little sore,
00:05:44but I think they're going to be all right.
00:05:45Good.
00:05:46Say, I need about $20 for supplies.
00:05:48Marty?
00:05:53I'd like you to reconsider taking this cross-country run.
00:05:56It's two days to the cabin.
00:05:58If anything happens, we're out of luck.
00:06:00Well, don't worry.
00:06:00If Byron breaks the leg,
00:06:02we can always shoot him.
00:06:04Hiya, Jackson.
00:06:05Did you get that kugel?
00:06:07Well, not yet, Miss Burlett.
00:06:11I'll see you later.
00:06:12Won't you have a drink with us?
00:06:14Mr. Jackson has to get things ready for the trip tomorrow.
00:06:18We'd like to leave between 8 and 8.30.
00:06:21Is that all right, Gil?
00:06:22Well, it's fine.
00:06:25I'll see you later.
00:06:30People like that really exist?
00:06:32Not for you, Charles.
00:06:34Not for me, Charles, because I'm with you, Sam.
00:06:36You said it, Jane.
00:07:01You said it, Jane.
00:07:06Do-si-do-and-round we go.
00:07:11What kind of freedom is that?
00:07:14They're all tied down to their petty little futures.
00:07:19Might be nice to have a future, even a petty little one.
00:07:23What's bugging you, Charles?
00:07:27Don't you like the setup anymore?
00:07:29Anymore has been a long time.
00:07:32What's wrong?
00:07:33Nothing's changed.
00:07:37Maybe I have, Charles.
00:07:42What's with your friends?
00:07:44They're spending.
00:07:46Scotch on the rocks, three bourbons with branches,
00:07:48one daiquiri and two gin fizzy.
00:07:50Hi, Gil.
00:07:52Hi, Natalie.
00:08:06I think I feel like a little dance.
00:08:10Just stay put, Charles.
00:08:18Whoops.
00:08:21Whee!
00:08:24Howdy, cowboy.
00:08:26Howdy, yourself.
00:08:27Where's Natalie?
00:08:29She was here a minute ago.
00:08:32Come on, nature boy.
00:08:33I want to dance.
00:08:57What's going on behind that big, silent face of you?
00:09:00Nothing clever enough to interest you, I'm afraid.
00:09:02Well, we don't have to be clever all the time.
00:09:05I can talk about the important things, like, uh, nature.
00:09:10What do you think of nature, Gil?
00:09:12I guess it's pretty natural.
00:09:17Do you have a girl?
00:09:19Two or three.
00:09:21Well, I don't think that's enough.
00:09:22Oh, my God.
00:10:09Hey, what's that in there?
00:10:11Part of the broken boot mine.
00:10:13Oh, yeah?
00:10:15Let's go take a look.
00:10:17Nothing to see this time of night.
00:10:22Besides, it's kind of spooky in the dark.
00:10:24And there's been this big cat around.
00:10:28Well, this baby will take care of any little pussycats.
00:10:35How come you pack a gun?
00:10:37Well, Gil Jackson told me about the cougar.
00:10:42I'm going to take a look. Come on.
00:10:44What are you going to do now?
00:10:46I've never seen a gold mine before. I want to take a look.
00:10:57Come on.
00:10:59Come on.
00:11:11You wait here a minute.
00:11:18Go on.
00:11:19Come on.
00:11:20Come on.
00:11:34Come on.
00:11:35Come here.
00:11:36Come on.
00:11:36From the back of the baby,
00:11:39you're going to bring me up.
00:11:39You're going to go to the cat.
00:11:40That's it.
00:11:48You're going to be the cat.
00:11:48You're going to bring me up.
00:12:30Did you have a big ball down there?
00:12:33Uh-huh.
00:12:36Is that pretty blonde woman your wife?
00:12:41She's my boss's secretary.
00:12:46Oh, I get it.
00:12:50She sure can do her share of drinking.
00:12:53You sure can do your share of talking.
00:13:35Stop it.
00:13:37Stop what?
00:13:40Staring at him.
00:13:41Staring at who?
00:13:45The cowboy.
00:13:48I'm not staring at the cowboy.
00:13:52Staring at the days of blind dates and Barbie socks.
00:13:58Chocolate malls.
00:14:01Have you seen Natalie?
00:14:02Who?
00:14:03The dark-haired girl that serves drinks here.
00:14:05No.
00:14:07I used to be a dark-haired girl.
00:14:10And I'm still serving.
00:14:15She was here an hour ago.
00:14:16Sorry, I can't help you.
00:14:22I can't even help myself.
00:14:27I'll be back in a minute.
00:14:35What's the matter with you?
00:14:41Something go wrong?
00:14:50Come on, talk.
00:14:52I told you.
00:14:54I told you.
00:14:56I told you.
00:14:56You told me nothing.
00:14:59I told you.
00:15:02Did you set the charges?
00:15:05Nine o'clock?
00:15:10What's bugging you?
00:15:13You killed that good-looking chick.
00:15:15What chick?
00:15:17Natalie.
00:15:19You mean the girl that works in the bar?
00:15:21You took that girl!
00:15:37What happened to him?
00:15:39Stupid idiot.
00:15:41I know all that.
00:15:43He took the barmaid to the mine.
00:15:46And somehow managed to let her get knocked off.
00:15:49Knocked off?
00:15:53This den?
00:15:54The dark-haired girl?
00:15:56I don't know.
00:15:58Maybe the cougar got her.
00:16:02There wasn't any cougar.
00:16:04I saw this thing and I saw this egg
00:16:06right down in the shaft where I planted the charge.
00:16:10Alex.
00:16:12Are you going to blow up that mine tomorrow?
00:16:16At nine o'clock.
00:16:18That means that you and Nature Boy
00:16:20will be at the top of the ski lift at 8.30.
00:16:24You're going to blow up that mine.
00:16:27Kill all those people.
00:16:31Alex here, nothing but a mass murderer.
00:16:35Just a few bars of gold.
00:16:38Tomorrow's Sunday.
00:16:39Nobody works.
00:16:50You all set for the big adventure?
00:16:52You certainly look bright and shiny this morning.
00:16:54You expecting maybe a hangover?
00:16:55Certainly not a girl from a soap commercial.
00:16:58Good morning.
00:16:59Is it that time already?
00:17:01You were the one that said eight.
00:17:02That must have been out of my mind.
00:17:03I just checked on Marty and Byron.
00:17:06They're still out.
00:17:09Look, why don't you two go on up to the ski lift?
00:17:14The boys and I will have breakfast and join you later.
00:17:17No last chance to talk you out of this?
00:17:20What are the state police doing way up here?
00:17:25Natalie, the cocktail waitress, took off last night.
00:17:28Hasn't been seen since.
00:17:30Oh, I see.
00:17:32Well, look, why don't you two get started and we'll join you in about half an hour, okay?
00:17:37Okay.
00:17:37We'll be there.
00:17:38Shall we all?
00:17:47Mary Whitney!
00:17:48Where will you get to the top?
00:18:18Mary Whitney!
00:18:39It's starting.
00:18:51Well, the worst part of the trip's over.
00:18:53Thanks to the left.
00:18:58Where do we go from here?
00:19:00That's where we came from and where we should be heading back.
00:19:04That's the way to my cabin.
00:19:10Looks cold and desolate.
00:19:13It is.
00:19:27Let's go.
00:19:29Let's go.
00:19:59Are you ready?
00:20:02Are you ready?
00:20:04Are you ready?
00:20:05I'm ready.
00:20:07I'm ready.
00:20:18It is.
00:20:42Wow, look at all that gold.
00:20:44Hey, can we take more than six?
00:20:46Two apiece, that's all we can handle.
00:20:58Well, what do you think of me?
00:21:00What do you mean?
00:21:01Well, this is the first time you've seen me sober, isn't it?
00:21:04I'm paid to teach people how to ski, not to think about them.
00:21:08I'm always making scenes like that one last night.
00:21:11Don't you ever make scenes, Gil?
00:21:12I try not to.
00:21:14Well, you don't have to.
00:21:15You can go away to your cabin and burrow in the snow.
00:21:18So people have all the luck.
00:21:20I think you make your own luck.
00:21:21I know you're wrong.
00:21:22Your luck makes you.
00:21:25I was very lucky once, and look what it did.
00:21:29Got a cigarette?
00:21:46Come on, get with it.
00:21:47I love you.
00:21:50I love you.
00:21:56Go away.
00:22:20I've got 64% antifreeze in my veins.
00:22:24You talk like a faded woman regretting a misspent life.
00:22:36Here goes the roller coaster!
00:22:40Here goes the roller coaster, woo-hoo!
00:22:44All right, lady!
00:22:47How old are you, Gil?
00:22:50Thirty.
00:22:51Thirty.
00:22:52You like to ski, you like to be alone.
00:22:56Things are about the same for you as they were ten years ago, right?
00:22:59Pretty much.
00:23:01Ten years ago, I was, uh, 16.
00:23:06Ten million years ago.
00:23:10You must have done a lot.
00:23:12I've done everything.
00:23:13So I have my whole life ahead of me.
00:23:15And yours is all used up.
00:23:18Not quite.
00:23:21Here comes a rest of mine on that chairlift.
00:23:34Let's go.
00:23:37Hail, hail, the gang's all here.
00:23:41Are you sure you know what you're in for?
00:23:43This cross-country ski run is something I've been dreaming about ever since I was a little kid.
00:23:47When will you have a little kid, Charles?
00:23:54Everybody stick close and follow my lead.
00:23:56Okay, Gil.
00:23:57Here we go.
00:23:58Full leg.
00:23:59Woo-hoo!
00:24:27Here we go.
00:24:30How old are you?
00:24:35Let's go.
00:24:52It's, we with the young kings.
00:24:52Though we are the mightyther
00:24:55The man who has been crítica toavilion,
00:25:07Oh, my God.
00:25:26We'll camp here for tonight.
00:25:28Oh!
00:25:29This is the good of places we're gonna find.
00:25:31I've never been so tired in all my life!
00:25:34It's not me. I feel wonderful.
00:25:37I got just a thing to fix you up.
00:25:39Yeah, what?
00:25:40We need firewood.
00:25:45What's wrong with you?
00:25:47We're being followed.
00:25:49What?
00:25:51I've been feeling it on the back of my neck all day.
00:25:53You need a haircut.
00:25:54Hey, you're getting pretty useless.
00:25:57Don't laugh, Byron.
00:25:59That old tingling has saved many a trapper and prospector.
00:26:04Huh?
00:26:04He has to be a whole tingling from an old prospector.
00:26:08What about that wood?
00:26:10Well, I'll tell you.
00:26:12If I can get up here, the spear is willing.
00:26:15Oh, man.
00:26:18Now stay put.
00:26:20I'll be back in a few minutes.
00:26:22And while I'm going, you can start packing down the snow.
00:26:25Sure.
00:26:32What's leaving you?
00:26:34Hey, you gotta forget that girl.
00:26:35I'm not thinking about her.
00:26:37What are you thinking about?
00:26:38The thing that got her.
00:26:40You know, it's on me and it means to get me.
00:26:42And that's what's been following us.
00:26:44You're a bundle of cheer.
00:26:45You better snap out of it fast, smart boy.
00:26:48Yeah, sure.
00:26:48You know, day after tomorrow, Tass is going to come out here with a ski plane.
00:26:51And we're off to Canada to sprint a loop.
00:26:59And you get the funny talk with nature boy.
00:27:02You can't stop me from talking.
00:27:04Don't tempt me.
00:27:08Don't tempt me.
00:28:56What's the matter?
00:28:57What's the matter?
00:28:57Marty!
00:28:58Look at his face!
00:28:59Marty, what happened?
00:29:02What happened?
00:29:05Oh, nothing.
00:29:05Go back to sleep.
00:29:06Why don't you turn in?
00:29:07I'll take the rest of your watch.
00:29:09Nobody takes my watch.
00:29:11I've still got two hours left to go, and I don't want to be a burden on anybody.
00:29:17Finish your watch, and I'm going back to the sack.
00:29:21Anybody that wants to stay at watch has got to be a cook.
00:29:25I'm going back to sleep before the next thrilling episode.
00:29:28Are you sure you're all right?
00:29:29I don't mind.
00:29:29I told you.
00:29:30I'll take the watch.
00:29:44One, two, three, four.
00:29:48Hands on hips.
00:29:50Place!
00:29:51One, two, three, four.
00:29:54One, two, three, four.
00:29:56Hands on hips.
00:29:57Take a look at this.
00:30:09Look at this.
00:30:12What is it?
00:30:14Some kind of tracks.
00:30:15I've never seen anything like it before.
00:30:18Must have passed through here during the night.
00:30:22You were on guard last night.
00:30:23What happened?
00:30:25Nothing you can handle.
00:30:26What kind of an answer is that?
00:30:29You were on guard all last night.
00:30:31Did you see something, or didn't you?
00:30:33What I saw, you wouldn't believe.
00:30:35Look, I'm getting sick and tired of this.
00:30:37What did you see last night?
00:30:41Nothing.
00:30:43Maybe I can help you to remember.
00:30:45Oh, that would be nice.
00:30:46We could take turns sitting up with him and his friend.
00:30:49Come on, Alex.
00:30:50Let's go.
00:30:52Come on.
00:30:52Come on.
00:30:52Come on.
00:30:54Come on.
00:30:56Come on.
00:31:10THE END
00:31:41I told you we'd make it, Jill.
00:31:43It was mostly downhill.
00:31:45So what?
00:31:46What about the return trip?
00:31:48It looks like a nice place.
00:31:50Maybe we'll stay.
00:31:52We should head back before dawn
00:31:54if we're going to make a campsite by nightfall.
00:31:58Tomorrow?
00:32:00Oh, isn't that the idea?
00:32:02Well, Jill, we're all a little tired.
00:32:05Couldn't we stay over a day and rest?
00:32:07That's fine with me.
00:32:09I'd like you to meet my housekeeper.
00:32:11Help! Massacre!
00:32:12You want him all?
00:32:14Help!
00:32:19As I was starting to say,
00:32:21I'd like you to meet my housekeeper, Small Doves.
00:32:25How do you do, Small Doves?
00:32:27How do you do?
00:32:28You'll have to forgive my son.
00:32:30His head was run over by horses last week.
00:32:45I think I know why Byron eats like that.
00:32:48Why's that?
00:32:49He has to keep himself stuck to prevent his brain
00:32:51from slipping down his throat into his stomach.
00:32:55Now let's pause for a brief look at the news.
00:32:57The biggest story to hit the Black Hills
00:32:59since the murder of Wild Bill Hickok
00:33:01was Sunday's sensational robbery
00:33:02at the Broken Boot Mine in Deadwood.
00:33:04What?
00:33:05Shh.
00:33:06Authorities believe the bandits
00:33:07could not have left the vicinity
00:33:09by the single daily train
00:33:10and therefore must be hiding out somewhere in the area.
00:33:13Police also believe
00:33:14that the simultaneous mine explosion
00:33:15in which watchman Leonard Wilsey lost his life
00:33:17was in some way connected with the robbery,
00:33:19perhaps as a diversion.
00:33:21In a moment, the weather.
00:33:23Can you beat that?
00:33:24It must have happened right after we left.
00:33:26Yes, we'd have heard about it.
00:33:28The weatherman says snow and heavy overcast
00:33:30for Deadwood in lead all day Tuesday
00:33:31with strong winds Wednesday,
00:33:33possibly clearing Thursday.
00:33:34And now, back to music in a mellow mood.
00:33:36Will the weather be the same here as it is in town?
00:33:40Just about.
00:33:42I hope it clears for the trip back.
00:33:44Better to clear tomorrow.
00:33:46Why tomorrow?
00:33:48We're staying here, remember?
00:34:13Come on, Byron, I've never cut a buffalo rug before.
00:34:16Well, I hope I'm sharp enough.
00:34:21What do you do up here
00:34:23on these long winter nights, Gil?
00:34:25Read, mostly.
00:34:27What kind of stuff?
00:34:30Sometimes I just flip open the encyclopedia.
00:34:33Something interesting on almost every page.
00:34:36Don't you ever have a yen to cut out
00:34:38and make the big city?
00:34:40What for?
00:34:43Well, that's living.
00:34:45Really?
00:34:48I went to San Francisco once.
00:34:51I was there for about a week.
00:34:53I think I saw just about everything
00:34:54there was to see in that length of time.
00:34:58Didn't like it?
00:34:59I don't know.
00:34:59It was wonderful.
00:35:01Well, there's something about these mountains
00:35:03and trees, wind,
00:35:08that makes everything else kind of insignificant.
00:35:12Well, I guess it takes all kinds.
00:35:15It's your turn, mountain man.
00:35:17Man, man, mountain, mountain man,
00:35:19mountain man, I think you're lovely.
00:35:35Riley, drop it!
00:35:36Riley, put that away!
00:35:38Everything over?
00:35:40Please forgive my outburst, Gil.
00:35:43I'm afraid I have a bad temper.
00:35:45I can't say much for any of you.
00:35:49I don't know how much trouble I've had from this broad.
00:36:04Nice going.
00:36:07Don't step out of line, cowboy.
00:36:10For the moment, you're a guest here.
00:36:12I'll thank you to keep your hands off Miss Bullett.
00:36:15I'll treat my secretary any way I feel like it.
00:36:18You can keep your nose out of it.
00:36:21Unless you want a .38 caliber nose job.
00:36:33Where are you going?
00:36:40It'll be fun taking care of that joker.
00:36:42Nothing moves till the plane gets here.
00:36:45And I'll take care of it myself.
00:36:50But if you're not doing anything, you can go outside and build a fire.
00:36:53Keep it going.
00:36:55Just in case that idiot Tassier tries to come in ahead of the storm.
00:37:05Gypsy?
00:37:14Thanks for the big try, Galahad.
00:37:18Fortunately, I do that sort of thing all the time.
00:37:21Alex had a perfect right to slap me.
00:37:26Maybe I'll kill him someday, but I can't blame him for being sore.
00:37:32Why don't you get out?
00:37:35That's what I keep telling myself.
00:37:40But I know I'll never have the guts.
00:37:43I've become part of Alex.
00:37:47Maybe a sick part, but a permanent one.
00:37:50What are you really afraid of?
00:37:52I was an underpaid model in a wholesale house.
00:37:57And I met Alex.
00:37:59He was young and loaded.
00:38:01I liked the way he pushed me around.
00:38:04I liked Ben.
00:38:07And now it's too late to go back.
00:38:10And I don't know if I really want to go back.
00:38:15I don't know what I want.
00:38:19But I know I'd rather have Alex than nothing at all.
00:38:22You're selling yourself short.
00:38:25There's a law of supply and demand, mister.
00:38:29And I don't hear any bitters.
00:39:00There's a law of supply and demand.
00:39:01Maybe I can let it go for tonight.
00:39:10There's something out there.
00:39:35There you go.
00:39:38Have a photo.
00:39:38I died.
00:39:38I died.
00:39:43I went to the hospital, Mike.
00:39:43I died.
00:39:45I died.
00:39:45I died.
00:39:46How did I get out of here?
00:40:12Hey, take it easy, huh?
00:40:14I'm sorry, baby.
00:40:15I'm not going to snide in gear.
00:40:18Don't these backwoods stations have any news during the night?
00:40:22Why are you so concerned with the news?
00:40:24It affects business.
00:40:28There's a threat of war.
00:40:29People stop buying fireworks.
00:40:32What's it to you?
00:40:34In a moment, the weather.
00:40:36Which leads them to believe they are still in the area.
00:40:39There are no further clues.
00:40:41On the weather picture, forecasters warn that the new loan moving in from Canada,
00:40:44will bring blizzards to Portons of the Dakotas sometime before Wednesday noon.
00:40:49In other parts of the country...
00:40:51Blizzards.
00:40:52What's your worry?
00:40:54It might not come anywhere near here.
00:40:57Meanwhile, we can take it easy.
00:40:59Or are you in a hurry to get somewhere?
00:41:03What's that supposed to mean?
00:41:05Just a question.
00:41:08There you go.
00:41:09All fixed up.
00:41:10Thanks, Jeff.
00:41:11Huh?
00:41:12Hot milk and graham crackers.
00:41:15For me?
00:41:16You were very brave.
00:41:24You feeling any better?
00:41:27Never better.
00:41:28That was a pretty dumb stunt you pulled.
00:41:32I pulled it on my own time.
00:41:34What time?
00:41:35You've got a 24-hour day job.
00:41:37Yeah.
00:41:38Well, my business with that baby outside is strictly personal.
00:41:41It's the most personal thing that's ever happened to me.
00:41:44So far.
00:41:47Any more questions?
00:41:50No.
00:41:51Take it to bed.
00:42:04No.
00:42:07How many people have you had working for you in Chicago?
00:42:14About 200.
00:42:15Why?
00:42:18You must have quite a turn on her.
00:42:21Good night.
00:42:40Looking for Tasser?
00:42:41He won't try to make it with a storm coming up.
00:42:45It doesn't make any difference anyway.
00:42:49Let's take a walk.
00:43:07Work is a beautiful thing when somebody else is doing it.
00:43:10Is it dry sometimes?
00:43:12Hey, give me the axe.
00:43:13Probably chop your leg off.
00:43:16Oh, it's a leg one way or the other.
00:43:18Well, it wouldn't matter if it was just any old leg.
00:43:23I didn't think you'd notice.
00:43:31Kill, I'm beginning to understand how you feel about this place.
00:43:36It's comfortable and warm.
00:43:39At night, I like to listen to the wind trying to get in.
00:43:42Do you think it will?
00:43:45Well, I've got two hands to hold it back.
00:43:54Kill, they're going to kill you.
00:44:01You don't seem very surprised.
00:44:04No, I'm not.
00:44:13How did they figure to get out of here?
00:44:15There's a plane coming. It was due this morning.
00:44:20Probably delayed by the weather.
00:44:23Then we were going to go to Canada.
00:44:25We're going?
00:44:26I would like to stick around if you have me.
00:44:29I haven't really thought about it.
00:44:33It's not true.
00:44:36Well, maybe not completely.
00:44:40Kill, I didn't know anything about that killing until I heard it over the radio.
00:44:56You don't know me.
00:44:58And I don't know you at all.
00:45:01You got it in your mind you want to return to nature.
00:45:04And I'm part of it.
00:45:06But what happens when you get bored?
00:45:10How do you know what I think?
00:45:12I don't know.
00:45:14I wish I did.
00:45:16I know one thing for sure.
00:45:19I'm sending Small Dove back to her relatives.
00:45:22Then I'm heading back to blow the whistle on your friends.
00:45:27If you still want to come along,
00:45:30meet me between 6 and 6.30 on the ridge where we first saw the cabin.
00:46:08and then over it, everybody!
00:46:10There it is.
00:46:11And now, let's take a look from the cabin.
00:46:13It's too bad we have to kill her.
00:46:16Why knock her off?
00:46:19I kind of like that hefty old squaw.
00:46:24Fantastic, come and she goes.
00:46:26Along with Marty and the cowboy.
00:46:29Marty sure is flip.
00:46:31He's dangerous.
00:46:33Do you really think he saw something?
00:46:37Yeah, pig snowman.
00:46:39Hey boss, I found it.
00:46:41Found what?
00:46:51The Cougar's Cave.
00:47:01More than 50 people paid their last respects to Leonard Wilsey,
00:47:05who was tragically killed in the mine explosion last Sunday.
00:47:08And that's the news up to five o'clock.
00:47:10Where's Davy Crockett?
00:47:12He went hunting.
00:47:14Hunting at night?
00:47:16He left about four, hunting a deer.
00:47:18Venison?
00:47:19Sounds great.
00:47:21When was the last time we had venison, Alex?
00:47:24I don't know.
00:47:25Two years ago at the Key Club.
00:47:27At the Key Club?
00:47:29Hmm?
00:47:30Chicago.
00:47:33We can only afford venison on your birthday, Alex.
00:47:37Out here all it takes is a sense of nature and a strong hand on the trigger.
00:47:44You're running off at the mouth tonight?
00:47:47I'll let you drink and get fractured.
00:47:51You'll be normal.
00:47:53What did we do on my birthday that year, Alex?
00:47:56Your birthday?
00:47:58When is my birthday, Alex?
00:48:03Can't remember?
00:48:05Well, that year we spent my birthday in Florida.
00:48:10Pulled a bankroll robbery at the Miami Fireworks Company.
00:48:14Oh, yeah, I remember.
00:48:17Killed two birds with one stone.
00:48:21About 150 grand and put the Southern Competition out of business.
00:48:26Many happy returns.
00:48:29You're acting mighty peculiar tonight.
00:48:31What are we going to do after this job, Alex?
00:48:34Well, same things we always do. Why?
00:48:37I've got an idea. Why not retire?
00:48:40Retire?
00:48:41You're a rich man, Alex.
00:48:43You've picked the bones of a thousand boobs who happen to have enough money to catch her eye.
00:48:47You don't have to take chances anymore.
00:48:50Why not quit?
00:49:03I'm sure I'm a rich man, Charles.
00:49:06And you're living high because of...
00:49:09I picked the bones of a thousand boobs,
00:49:11and I picked the bones of a thousand more because they are boobs.
00:49:14And they deserve exactly what they get.
00:49:16That old man deserved what he got.
00:49:19Every day, some old man steps in front of a car.
00:49:25I'll send flowers, but I'll never quit.
00:49:30Well, that's bad.
00:49:33Here's a late highway warning.
00:49:34The west side of Strawberry Canyon Road is now closed,
00:49:37and will be for at least another hour.
00:49:38Motorists are again warned not to drive unless absolutely necessary.
00:49:42I guess it works.
00:49:43...to last through the night.
00:49:47And now a request for Mrs. Bertie Arnold in Deadwood,
00:49:50from the music memory album.
00:49:53Where are you going, Charles?
00:49:55For a walk, Charles.
00:50:03Follow him.
00:50:06Hey, boss.
00:50:07I just figured it out.
00:50:09It's Pa.
00:50:12What's Pa?
00:50:13Him against the wall.
00:50:15He's been driving me crazy.
00:50:17Come on, get out of here.
00:50:24Pa.
00:50:48Where's she going?
00:50:48To be away.
00:50:49I gotta follow her.
00:50:50No, you stay with me.
00:50:52Hey!
00:51:04Hey, sweetheart.
00:51:05This ain't no time for romance.
00:51:09Are you hungry?
00:51:10Look, sweetheart.
00:51:12I gotta follow her.
00:51:13The boss told me to.
00:51:17never wait for him.
00:51:30I got away for you.
00:51:34I'm hungry.
00:51:34You're a dog.
00:51:34I'm hungry for you.
00:51:38You're a dog.
00:51:38You're hungry for me.
00:51:44I'm hungry, no one.
00:51:46Hi, please.
00:51:47Thank you for waiting.
00:51:48Thanks for coming.
00:51:56Do you really mean that?
00:51:58I usually mean what I say.
00:52:01How do you know I'm not just trying to save my own skin?
00:52:04It would be easier for you to tell Alex and let him finish me.
00:52:08It would have been easier, but it would have been impossible.
00:52:20We'd better get started before the blizzard.
00:52:23Long way back.
00:52:33Snap out of it, Byron. Snap out of it.
00:52:36I see that you gentlemen have changed your ideas about my eyesight.
00:52:39Shut up.
00:52:41It got small now.
00:52:42Well, maybe it'll be satisfied with it.
00:52:43Not by a long shot.
00:52:45It knows who it's after.
00:52:47I've got to do something.
00:52:49Well, do nothing but stay put.
00:52:50It hasn't tried to get into the cabin yet.
00:52:53As a matter of fact, it ran from us.
00:52:54It didn't run from us.
00:52:56It ran from the fire that Byron threw at us.
00:52:58Well, it doesn't make any difference.
00:52:59What chased it away?
00:53:02We're out here on a job.
00:53:04We can't afford to have any nightmares.
00:53:06Okay, okay.
00:53:11I never saw such an animal.
00:53:15What is it?
00:53:17I saw pieces of an egg in the mine where it got Natalie.
00:53:25Now, that could have been buried there for millions of years until the men working on the mine found it.
00:53:31Drop it!
00:53:31I don't care what it is.
00:53:32I don't care if it chews up the whole state.
00:53:34I don't care if it came from Mars or happened by spontaneous combustion.
00:53:40We're going to Canada with a load of gold, so forget it!
00:53:43It'll get us.
00:53:44It'll get nothing!
00:53:46If you got small dove, you'll probably get Gypsy too.
00:53:51Gypsy?
00:53:54Where is she?
00:53:56I saw her leaning on her skis.
00:53:59Cowboy didn't come back yet either.
00:54:02Gypsy and the cowboy.
00:54:06They deserve each other.
00:54:16Where do you think they went?
00:54:19They probably went back to town.
00:54:23I'm going to get some soup.
00:54:25You should probably tell them about the robbery.
00:54:29I'll get the skis ready.
00:54:31We'll never catch him now.
00:54:34What are we going to do?
00:54:39I'll probably run into that blizzard pretty soon.
00:54:42And they'll either have to hold up or turn back.
00:54:46There's a giant cave right near here.
00:54:48That's the only place they can hold up.
00:54:52So how do you know about the cave?
00:54:55That's where I follow the...
00:54:57Cougar.
00:54:58All right.
00:55:00That's right.
00:55:13Can we beat the storm?
00:55:15Not a chance.
00:55:16Well, what do we do?
00:55:19We'll have to turn back.
00:55:21I knew it was too good to be true.
00:55:24I knew I'd never get away.
00:55:26Now, don't worry.
00:55:27We're not whipped yet.
00:55:30I know of a haunted cave not far from here.
00:55:33If you're not afraid of ghosts,
00:55:35we'll wait there till the storm blows over.
00:55:38Anytime your broomstick is ready.
00:55:47Hey, Barron, knock it off.
00:55:52Hey, meathead, I'm hungry.
00:55:56Can't hear you, boss.
00:55:58Why not?
00:56:00He left?
00:56:04Where would that imbecile go?
00:56:07Don't ask me, boss.
00:56:10Maybe he's chasing that Indian squaw.
00:56:17I'll let him go.
00:56:21You know, Jackson told me that the Black Hills,
00:56:25the sacred Indian country,
00:56:27heaped bad medicine for evil men from foreign lands.
00:56:33They must have heard we were coming.
00:56:37We don't eat Byron.
00:56:41I don't think we need anybody.

00:59:39Very pistols.
00:59:41What are they for?
00:59:43They used to fire flares.
00:59:45They can be seen from miles away.
00:59:47They're not going to signal anybody.
