After turning her eight-week holiday to Europe into an almost year-long journey, Neisha Nyenbrink returned home (Australia) just in time to spend Christmas with her grandparents.

This video features Neisha surprising her family by popping up at their doorstep. A wave of happiness sweeps through the entire room following the unexpected yet long-awaited reunion.

"I told my family I wasn't going to be home for Christmas as I wanted a white Christmas, but I had actually booked a flight that would get me home a few days before Christmas, so I could surprise them," the filmer told WooGlobe. "My friend picked me up from the airport, after 11.5 months away, and drove me to my grandparents, so I could surprise them first."
