00:00First of all, no one expected, including the royal family themselves, that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor would have been arrested by
00:07police and taken to a police station yesterday.
00:09So, first of all, I think that was totally out of the blue for everybody.
00:13I think the king acted absolutely decisively.
00:18He issued his statement within two hours of the police confirming that an arrest had been made.
00:23His statement was clear, it was concise, and it was just really building on the actions he took last year
00:32when he stripped Prince Andrew, as he was then, of his titles and evicted him from Royal Lodge and sent
00:39him packing to a cottage on the Norfolk Estate.
00:43I think the late queen treated all her children equally.
00:47I didn't ever see her favour Andrew over the other three.
00:52Of course, in 2010, when we first knew about this story, we did not have all the facts.
00:58Today, we know far more through those three million emails that have been spontaneously released.
01:04So, the queen only acted on the information she had at the time.
01:07I think she would have probably acted differently if she was around today.
