00:00U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he believes 10 to 15 days is enough time for Iran to
00:06reach a deal, warning of bad things to happen, as Washington seeks the full dismantlement of Iran's nuclear infrastructure, amongst
00:14other things.
00:15Trump's latest threat comes as a second U.S. carrier nears the Middle East amid a massive military build-up
00:22in the region.
00:23We're either going to get a deal or it's going to be unfortunate for them. I would think there would
00:29be enough time, 10, 15 days, pretty much maximum.
00:32Just as Trump ramped up his threats, Iran on Thursday held annual military drills with Russia in a move that
00:39signaled both sides are prepared for war if talks fizzle out.
00:43And in a letter to the U.N. Security Council on Thursday, Iran warned that while it does not seek
00:49tension or war and will not initiate a war, any U.S. aggression will be responded to, quote, decisively and
00:57proportionately.
00:58Indirect talks between U.S. and Iran held in recent weeks have made little to no progress so far.
