Trump ‘doesn’t know if aliens are real’ but directs release of UFO files

US President Donald Trump has said he is directing the Pentagon and other American government agencies to identify and release files related to extraterrestrials and UFOs because of “tremendous interest” in the subject.Mr Trump made the announcement in a social media post hours after he accused Barack Obama of disclosing “classified information” when the former US president recently suggested in a podcast interview that aliens are real.“I don’t know if they’re real or not,” Mr Trump told reporters on Air Force One. And he said of Mr Obama: “I may get him out of trouble by declassifying.”
