Gratitude is often misunderstood as a polite response to good fortune. In reality, it is a psychological and spiritual recalibration. It shifts perception from deficiency to sufficiency.
When you truly recognize that you already possess what you need — growth, breath, lessons, strength, opportunity — the nervous system relaxes. The mind stops scanning for what is missing. The body exits survival mode.
In that state, you are no longer chasing validation, approval, or external proof of worth. You operate from fullness rather than lack.
Abundance is not something you attract by force. It is something you align with by awareness.
Gratitude is alignment.
