U.S.–Iran tensions have sharply escalated after U.S. President Donald Trump issued a dramatic warning to Iran, saying Tehran has roughly 10–15 days to agree to a nuclear deal — or face unspecified but potentially severe consequences.

Trump reportedly told officials and media that the U.S. is seeking a “meaningful” agreement limiting Iran’s nuclear programme, warning that “bad things will happen” if talks fail. The remarks came amid one of the largest U.S. military deployments to the Middle East in years, with warships, aircraft carriers and air-defence assets moved closer to the region, fuelling fears of a possible strike.

00:00Today on Iran, bad things will happen if Iran doesn't make a deal.
00:03It's a really bad thing.
00:04What will that...
00:05I'm not going to talk to you about that.
00:08No, what is the goal if there is a U.S. military strike?
00:11Well, we're going to make a deal or we're going to get a deal one way or the other.
00:14But with a military strike, you think to wipe out their nuclear...
00:17I'm not going to talk to you about that, but we're either going to get a deal or it's going
00:22to be unfortunate for them.
00:24And then you said, since they didn't leave, can you keep them on a deadline for them to make a
00:28deal?
00:28I would think there will be enough time, 10, 15 days, pretty much back some...
00:33You don't talk about military strategy.
00:35I'm kind of taking an easy pass on that one.
00:38No, it's not a good answer.
00:39It could be death-defying, because I suspect that will be used in every campaign for the next 30 years
00:44again, sir.
00:45That was not a good one, Peter.
00:46What do you think?
00:47I got a question about something big overseas today.
00:49The former Prince Andrew arrested by the police there, related to something with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:56Do you think people in this country, at some point, associates of Jeffrey Epstein, will wind up in handcuffs, too?
01:04Well, you know, I'm the expert, in a way, because I've been totally exonerated.
01:07That's very nice.
01:08I can actually speak about it very nicely.
01:10I think it's a shame.
01:11I think it's very sad.
01:12I think it's so bad for the royal family.
01:15It's very, very sad.
01:17To me, it's a very sad thing.
01:18When I see that, it's a very sad thing.
01:20To see it, and to see what's going on with his brother, who's obviously coming to our country very soon,
01:26and he's a fantastic man, the king.
01:29So I think it's a very sad thing.
01:32It's really interesting, because nobody used to speak about Epstein when he was alive, but now they speak.
01:37But I'm the one that can talk about it, because I've been totally exonerated.
01:40I did nothing.
01:41In fact, the opposite.
01:42He was against me.
01:43He was fighting me in the election, which I just found out through the last three million pages of documents.
01:49Yeah, please.
01:50Yeah.
01:50He said today, on Iran, bad things will happen if Iran doesn't make a deal.
01:54It's a really bad thing.
01:55What will that...
01:56I'm not going to talk to you about that.
01:59What is the goal, if there is a U.S. military strike?
02:02Well, we're going to make a deal, or we're going to get a deal one way or the other.
02:05But with a military strike, is it to wipe out their nuclear program?
02:08I'm not going to talk to you about that.
02:09But we're either going to get a deal, or it's going to be unfortunate for them.
02:14And then you said to fix your lease, do you need to have a deadline for them to make a
02:18deal?
02:19I would think there will be enough time, 10, 15 days, pretty much maximum.
02:24Mr. President, when you have the Board of Peace, obviously, there's a lot of countries that you're trying to get
02:28on.
02:28What countries would you like to see join the Board of Peace the most?
02:31Well, we have a lot that are on, and we have a lot that are going through the process of
02:34getting on.
02:35They have to get legislative approval, et cetera.
02:37And we've had millions of dollars put up already by the countries that are on.
02:41You saw some of the big players today.
02:43It's been very successful.
02:44Everyone's going to want to be on.
02:45Everyone wants to be on.
02:47Some have to go back to their legislatures to get approval.
02:50Would you want to put China or Russia or any of those?
02:52I would love to have China and Russia.
02:54They've been invited.
02:56You need both.
02:58You need all persuasions.
03:00No discrimination.
03:01Something that got a lot of attention this week, Barack Obama said that aliens are real.
03:07Have you seen any evidence of non-human visitors to Earth?
03:12Well, he gave classified information.
03:13He's not supposed to be doing that.
03:15So aliens are real?
03:16Well, I don't know if they're real or not.
03:18I can tell you he gave classified information.
03:20He's not supposed to be doing that.
03:21He made a big mistake.
03:24He took it out of classified information.
03:26No, I don't have an opinion on it.
03:28I never talk about it.
03:30A lot of people do.
03:31A lot of people believe it.
03:33Do you believe it, Peter?
03:35Well, the president can declassify anything that he wants to.
03:38So if you want to make an announcement.
03:40I may get him out of trouble by declassifying.
03:42We know illegal aliens, really.
03:44Illegal.
03:44Only illegals.
03:46What else?
03:48Based on what you've been told,
03:49what do you think happened to Savannah Guthrie's Nancy?
03:53Boy, it's so crazy.
03:56So bad.
03:57I didn't like when they were talking about going after the pacemaker.
04:01And, you know, before they even started going after it,
04:04they're coming and reporting it.
04:05So if, in fact, they could do it that way,
04:07the person would say,
04:09well, I'm not going to let that happen, right?
04:11So bad things would happen if he's not going to let that happen.
04:14I can't imagine why they would have done that.
04:17Just in terms of strategy, it's one middle piece.
04:20I don't know.
04:20But we have to start reporting on other subjects.
04:25I'll start and see what happens.
04:26It's a very sad situation.
04:27Sir, they're trying to take off.
04:29Yeah, I have to take off.
04:31I'll come back.
04:32Thank you, sir.
04:33What do I have to do?
04:34Maybe I don't have to.
04:35Have a good day.
04:36I think I have to.
