00:10and the iconic Shadow of the Colossus, will never have a chance to launch its first original game as planned.
00:18Indeed, Sony just announced, just a few hours ago, the permanent closure of its major studio,
00:25laying off more than 60 talented developers.
00:29Sony, let's remember, acquired this studio on a whim in 2021 to compete with the giant Xbox,
00:37which was set on site on Bethesda and Activision Blizzard at the time.
00:42Well, today, Sony spoke to Bloomberg to justify its strategic choices,
00:47which according to them are a recent review of the businesses,
00:52and has therefore decided to say goodbye to the 70 Bluepoint Games employees.
