00:00They want peace.
00:01And now is the time for Iran to join us on a path that will complete what we're doing.
00:08And if they join us, that'll be great.
00:10If they don't join us, that'll be great too.
00:12But it'll be a very different path.
00:15They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region.
00:18And they must make a deal.
00:21Or if that doesn't happen, I maybe can understand.
00:25If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.
00:26But bad things will happen.
00:30If it doesn't, with the commitments announced today, the Board of Peace is proving that it does not just convene
00:38countries.
00:39It devises and implements and real solutions happen.

01:47Can you share a little bit about the president's thinking on whether or not to strike Iran,

01:54and why a strike might be necessary on a nuclear program he says was obliterated by the last U.S.

02:00Well, there's many reasons and arguments that one could make for a strike against Iran.
02:07The president had a very successful operation as commander-in-chief with Operation Midnight Hammer,

02:18The president has always been very clear, though, with respect to Iran or any country around the world,
02:23diplomacy is always his first option, and Iran would be very wise to make a deal with President Trump and
02:29with this administration.
02:30He's talking to many people, of course, his national security team, first and foremost,
02:35and you know who the members of that team are.
02:38And this is something, obviously, the president takes seriously.
02:41He's always thinking about what's in the best interest of the United States of America,
02:45of our military, of the American people,
02:47and that's how he makes decisions with respect to military action of any kind.
