This clip, shared by Briana, captures a sweet idea that spiraled into pure childhood overwhelm.  ''This was a lighthearted, family-oriented moment connected to our Elf on the Shelf tradition,'' Briana told WooGlobe.  ''Our elf, Poppy, returns every year on December 1st, and this year we had just moved.''  She thought to make the best out of this moment and went into full creative mode.  ''I thought it would be cute and creative for an officer to ‘help’ Poppy find us by pretending they were looking for my son,'' Briana added, and later summed it all up with, ''It was meant to be a magical surprise—nothing more.''
