01:02Nakakakilig naman. Kaya naman kasama natin ngayon via Zoom.
01:05Si Isabella Revilla Ferrali. Good morning and welcome sa Rise and Shine Pilipinas!
01:11Hi! Magandang umaga po. Magandang umaga. So pretty.
01:15Yeah, so pretty. Isabella, can you share with us?
01:18Yeah, Isabella, can you share with us how your love story with Seamus began?
01:26Yeah, we met at a flea market a few years ago and we didn't start dating.
01:33We just kept in touch.
01:34And then in 2017, 2018, we reached out to each other and we started dating from there.
01:42We did long distance for a bit. I was in New York, New Jersey.
01:47He was in Tampa, Florida and then Nashville.
01:52And then we just, you know, I moved to Nashville for him and we were there for a few years.
01:57And yeah, we got married. We adopted some dogs. It's been great.
02:02Wonderful. Well, as a Filipino married to an international wrestling star,
02:06what has been your biggest adjustment in your lifestyle or schedule as a couple?
02:13Yeah, I think it was definitely the schedule at first because he was on the road every weekend.
02:19And especially after I moved to Nashville, I didn't have any family or friends there.
02:25So it was hard for me to adjust. Nashville is a lot different than New Jersey.
02:32There's not as many Filipino people there in Nashville.
02:35So it was really hard for me to adjust. I ended up adopting four dogs.
02:40We ended up adopting four dogs together. But the schedule was hard.
02:43He was gone every weekend. He was gone for four to five days every week.
02:48So whenever he was home, we would have to make the most out of our time together.
02:53And obviously, with him being in the spotlight, I think it was an adjustment for me.
02:57Whenever we would go out, people would stop him in the street.
03:00They would want to take a picture with him.
03:03Yeah, those were the two biggest things for me.
03:07All right. I understand, of course, there will be differences in terms of culture.
03:11Tell us more about these differences and also, which one led to funnier, memorable moments?
03:20Yeah, so I think for him, I asked him what was the most surprising thing when we got together.
03:30And he said it was family because I have a big family here in New Jersey.
03:35And whenever we do parties, everyone's together.
03:39The parties go out until, like, the morning and everything.
03:42So that is what really struck him.
03:44As big as my family is, we're very close.
03:47I have a lot of cousins, a lot of tithas here.
03:50And then for me, I think one thing that really surprised me in Irish culture was their sense of humor.
03:57My husband and his family, they all have a different sense of humor.
04:00They're a lot of jokesters.
04:02They're sarcastic.
04:04And it's fun.
04:05It's funny.
04:06I never know, at least in the beginning, I never knew when they were joking or when they were being
04:10serious.
04:11But they're a lot of fun.
04:13The Irish culture is just very fun, similar to Filipino culture.
04:18We like to have fun.
04:18We like to laugh.
04:19We like to eat.
04:20We like to drink.
04:21So I think those were the main things that really took some adjustments for both of us.
04:26But he ended up loving my family.
04:29He embraces the culture.
04:30He embraces the food.
04:31He loves spending time with my family at our big parties.
04:34He's sat in karaoke before.
04:37He knows how to line dance.
04:39So he's adjusted well.
04:41No dull moments.
04:42Now I wonder, what are the favorite Filipino food of your husband?
05:15Oh my gosh.
05:17He likes the casino.
05:17He likes spam.
05:20He's very open to trying so many different foods.
05:23So I'm really lucky.
05:24He really loves Filipino food.
05:26Alright, Isabella, you're active on social media.
05:29So what kind of content do you usually post?
05:32And which videos went viral?
05:36So there are a few that have gone viral that I never expected it to.
05:42I never really was active on social media.
05:45I would maybe post here and then when I went on a trip, when we went on vacation.
05:50But what I post now, I post a lot of real life moments for us.
05:57So that's obviously, I have a series that we, where we eat Filipino food.
06:01So it's the Farrellies Eat Filipino.
06:03And then I post a lot of dog things, a lot of dog content.
06:07We love our dogs and we have a passion for helping rescue dogs.
06:15And yeah, I do post when we travel, but that used to be when I would post the most.
06:20But now I just, whatever I find funny.
06:23I like making people laugh.
06:25I like, we kind of have similarities where we like entertaining people.
06:30We like making people laugh.
06:31We like getting reactions.
06:32But the viral videos that I never expected to go viral.
06:35There was one of him eating a steak out of a bag in an airport.
06:40I was shocked that went viral.
06:42Just I think it was so absurd.
06:43And then once people realized how absurd it was, when they realized who it was that was eating the steak.
06:49I think that is what kind of caused that viral moment.
06:53And then there was another one when we went to Paris.
06:55He did a pay-per-view clash in Paris.
06:58And I did a video in front of the Eiffel Tower.
07:00And that went viral.
07:01That's the one.
07:03And then another one, obviously, our video, where I talked about how my Irish husband has immersed himself in Filipino
07:13culture.
07:14And that was just to show at least the things that my family does.
07:18Because, you know, the food that we eat, the traditions, like the mahjong, the line dancing, just those things.
07:26And how he has fully immersed himself in that.
07:30And it just went off.
07:32It went viral.
07:32I was surprised.
07:33I was very surprised.
07:35I wonder, have you visited together the Philippines?
07:37And I want to ask, which place in the Philippines are your roots?
07:43So, I haven't been to the Philippines in a long time.
07:48I think over 20 years.
07:50Almost 20 years now.
07:51Both of my parents are from Mauban.
07:54So, that's normally the place we would go to.
07:57We would stay in the province with my cousins, my tita, my mom's sister over there.
08:03But we haven't gone together yet.
08:05He went to Manila in 2019.
08:08And I remember him coming back.
08:10He had a lot of pasalubon for me.
08:11And he was saying that the Filipino people were so nice, so hospitable, so kind.
08:17So, we definitely want to go back soon.
08:19I definitely want to visit Manila.
08:22I know it's changed so much since the last time I was there.
08:25Obviously, Makati.
08:27I want to try all the restaurants.
08:29And the nightlife seems super fun.
08:31But definitely, Mauban.
08:32That's where my family is from.
08:34Both my mom and my dad.
08:35I still have a lot of family there.
08:37A lot of cousins.
08:38Especially on my mom's side of the family.
08:40So, I definitely would love to visit the Mauban again.
08:43It's just such a different way of life.
08:46It's just, you know, it's just a lot slower than what I'm used to.
08:51We're right outside of New York City here.
08:53And everyone just knows each other.
08:54And it's such a family type of vibe.
08:56I remember when I went with my mom, people just looked at me.
09:01I'd never met them before and said, that's Lele's daughter.
09:03You know, because I looked just like her.
09:06And then everyone knew her.
09:08Because it was just such a tight-knit community.
09:10So, I definitely want to visit Mauban again.
09:13All right, Isabella.
09:14Thank you so much for sharing your love story.
09:16Wishing you happiness on your marriage.
09:20Thank you, Islam Akbar.
