00:00Hollywood icon Robert Duvall has died at the age of 95.
00:03The Oscar winner's career spanned seven decades with iconic roles in The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, and The Natural.
00:11Duvall began his acting career at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse, where his classmates included big names, Dustin Hoffman, Gene Hackman,
00:17and James Caan.
00:18His first major role was as the reclusive Boo Bradley in the 1962 screen adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird.
00:25He would go on to be nominated for seven Academy Awards, winning Best Actor for 1983's Tender Mercies.
00:32But the man had range.
00:33I mean, who else could star in The Godfather, go toe-to-toe with Will Ferrell in Kicking and Screaming,
00:39and play Joseph Pulitzer in the Disney musical The Newsies?
00:43Duvall never had any kids, despite being married four times.
00:46Back in 2007, he said in a Details Magazine interview,
00:50I guess I'm shooting blanks. I've tried with a lot of different women in and out of marriage.
