00:09These are the spying allegations which Israeli cybersecurity companies are now facing.
00:14Israeli media reports say these companies have developed technologies known as Carent, which effectively turn smart cars into intelligence-gathering
00:23tools.
00:23So how does it work?
00:25By tracking vehicles in real-time through GPS data and SIM information, as well as accessing microphones and cameras embedded
00:34in car systems,
00:36all of this data is then combined using artificial intelligence to create what is described as a complete intelligence profile
00:42of a target's location and movements.
00:45The most concerning part?
00:48These technologies are reportedly sold to government entities and private clients.
00:52So far, the Israeli companies implicated have not responded to the allegations.
