00:00The true measure of any society
00:02can be found in how it treats
00:03its most vulnerable members.
00:05With nearly 750,000
00:08people with disabilities registered
00:10in Kazakhstan, the need for comprehensive
00:12and long-term inclusion is clear.
00:14Kazachstan is taking steps
00:16to improve the quality of life of people with
00:18disabilities. From inclusive education
00:19to social entrepreneurship, we explore
00:22how communities, specialists and businesses
00:24are creating a more accessible
00:26future.
00:30This school was among the first to pioneer
00:32Samruk Kazanatrast's inclusive
00:33support classrooms. Here, specialists
00:36and psychologists work with children with
00:38disabilities outside regular classes.
00:40There are
00:55already
00:5621 schools across Astana
00:58and 10 more in two regions that have
01:00adopted the inclusive support classroom
01:01model.
01:02In our school, we have a very
01:04difficult to maintain the inclusion
01:04cabinet. That's why we
01:09have to maintain the inclusion of the
01:10community.
01:14Our mission is to
01:16of the community.
01:17We have to maintain the inclusion of the
01:18community.
01:24Dozens of rehabilitation centers
01:26and various initiatives have been launched
01:28to help people with disabilities take care
01:30of their health while integrating into
01:32society. To advance it further,
01:34Kazakhstan has launched a concept of
01:36inclusivity for 2025-2030.
01:38The main goal of this document is to
01:41move from the social
01:43medical model to the right
01:46safety model.
01:47The person with a child is a
01:48right-wing.
01:50He has the same rights as all
01:53citizens of Kazakhstan.
01:55He has the right-wing
01:58access and the right-wing
01:59opportunities, without
02:01stigmatizing, without
02:04Zahira is also involved in curating and
02:07supporting initiatives like
02:08Bakhtashangraq, a center for
02:10supporting families raising children
02:11with disabilities.
02:12Any programs, when they are
02:14accepted, must be considered
02:15the question of the
02:17people with disabilities.
02:17How many are they considered?
02:19There is a lot of expertise
02:20that we have to look at
02:22the questions of the
02:25people with disabilities.
02:26People with disabilities are also
02:27taken care of in adulthood.
02:29A growing group of social
02:31entrepreneurs opens businesses that
02:32accommodate their needs and
02:33while teaching them useful, hard and
02:35soft skills.
02:36This is the first inclusive
02:38barista school for people with
02:40hearing disabilities.
02:41Let me order some coffee.
02:57If you know today's
02:59barista, it is the
03:01practicality that doesn't
03:03contact with clients,
03:05with customers,
03:06so they have no need to talk
03:10with disabilities.
03:16Aset and his partner
03:17Amin co-created this space
03:19that combines a coffee shop,
03:21a showroom and a social
03:22innovation hub to showcase
03:23products from 11 inclusive
03:25workshops and show other
03:26businesses how to be more
03:28inclusive.
03:29Why did you decide to develop
03:30social entrepreneurship in
03:32Kazakhstan?
03:32Because I am a patriot and I am
03:34all the time I was thinking how I
03:36can help to my country and for
03:38the last 10 years I have been
03:39dedicating myself for the social
03:41problems.
03:42That's why we created the social
03:44innovation hub and company
03:45DreamHall.
03:49This wooden wheel isn't just
03:51crafts, it's a pathway to
03:52independence.
03:53For many, this is the first
03:55opportunity to earn their income
03:57and feel valued for their work.
04:23Backed came here without any
04:24skills eight years ago.
04:26He says it's hard to find work for
04:28people with disabilities.
04:29That's why workplaces that create
04:31not only opportunity, but also a
04:32special bond are important.
04:34We have weddings, people
04:37meet.
04:37People come, except that they
04:40have learned to do it,
04:41they are already financially
04:42independent.
04:44Behind every idea is the same
04:46belief.
04:47Everyone deserves dignity,
04:48support and a sense of
04:49belonging.
04:50And the more we embrace
04:52inclusivity in everyday life,
04:53the stronger and more
04:55compassionate we become.
04:58For more details, I have a
04:59FPGA, where we'll maybe
04:59What you think we can break
05:00dwell on how we're orang-
