00:00Just like any other rollerblade outing, we approached the bridge.
00:04The first thing I see is a tiny baby rooster.
00:07I saw an open Nike shoebox.
00:11And we were told that some guy just dropped it off and left.
00:14What the hell?
00:16I see Jan behind me already taking off her rollerblades.
00:20And I already knew what was going to happen.
00:23Well, what would you do? I wouldn't just leave it there.
00:28We had a lot of questions running through our heads.
00:33Jan already had them.
00:35And she just handed them to me.
00:37And I'm like, now what?
00:40Uh, yeah, like what?
00:43What do we do with a rooster now?
00:45I'm speechless.
00:47So here we are.
00:50With our newly adopted, it looks like a little pygmy rooster.
00:56And our rollerblades, about five miles from the car.
00:59We didn't even know how to hold a rooster or anything.
01:01I'm like, I think you hold it like a football.
01:03I don't know.
01:04I think he was low-key grateful that somebody picked him up.
01:08I wasn't ready for a rooster.
01:10The universe said otherwise.
01:27So we started doing everything right.
01:30We need to get him the correct food.
01:32We need to get him the correct sleeping and the living structures.
01:38He is a little cocky.
01:41No pun intended.
01:43Like, he's the head of household.
01:47We also have two Yorkies in the house.
01:49And we also have a cat.
01:51So he gets interesting.
01:58We got him a girlfriend.
02:01It was never an issue.
02:04Not even their first encounter.
02:07They're your family.
02:08They're your pets.
02:09You care for them.
02:11They rely on you.
02:12All of that.
02:12So we do love the opportunity that we were given.
