00:00Yeah. Can I just ask, do you think it was the fact that you were doing so many different seasons,
00:05why it started to push different boundaries, for instance, changing ethnicity, when we saw, there were so many different things
00:14that were, there were so many procedures, there was a girl who had her teeth pulled out.
00:18Do you think it was the fact that there were so many episodes that you were having to deal with
00:22that they started pushing the boundaries?
00:23Well, you know, I don't know that it has to do with how many episodes there were, but it certainly
00:29started to take on a life of its own.
00:33I mean, you know, things got more extreme, that's for sure.
00:36You know, it was the same time as shows like Survivor and, you know, sort of a lot of extreme
00:40television was out at that time in the early 2000s.
00:43That's what it was sort of known for, TV at that time.
00:46It really takes you on highs and lows and it's real.
00:50And yes, it's painful to watch and yes, it's difficult, but there are also highs and good parts of it.
00:55And I think it's important to remember just how much fun we had with this, you know, incredible show, how
01:00much people enjoyed it.
01:02And yeah, you know what, we're also going to be paying our penance for it.
01:06So, you know, I think it's time, it's 20 plus years since it started and it was a huge phenomenon.
01:11And I think, you know, that when you look back at things, it's easy to look back at your sort
01:15of old haircut from the 80s and go, go on, never do that again.
01:17But times are different right now. So you have to sort of also look at it with kindness and sort
01:23of nostalgia at the same time as feeling sorry for the things you did that were wrong.
