00:04On Ask This Old House, our experts travel across the country to answer questions about your house.
00:17Today, Mauro is talking paint spills and how to clean them.
00:21Oh, like a day.
00:23I might not even put a drop clock down that came off so easily.
00:27Then, Heath gives a lesson on how three-way switches work.
00:31What do I screw into what?
00:33It looks confusing, but let me try and make it as simple as possible.
00:36And Nathan and Lee team up to bring some curb appeal to a homeowner's front yard.
00:41Less talky, more worky.
00:43On Ask This Old House.
00:49Hey, Mauro.
00:49Kevin.
00:50How are you?
00:50I'm doing all right.
00:52All right.
00:52Uh-oh, somebody spilled some paint.
00:54Already.
00:55You don't spill paint, do you?
00:57Sometimes a little drop in there, but, you know, when that happens, I try to clean it right away.
01:02Okay.
01:02All right.
01:03So we have here some rugs, we have some hardwood floors, and then we have tiles.
01:07All right.
01:07So I presume there's a technique for each?
01:10There is.
01:10So we start with the rug.
01:12Okay, let's put the little paint on this rug.
01:15You're just putting it in there.
01:17Yeah, I hope the homeowner don't see it.
01:19Seeing you do that, Mauro, makes the hair on my neck go up.
01:22Don't worry about it.
01:23I got the solution for that.
01:25Okay, what do you got?
01:26I got warm water and soap.
01:28Just some regular detergent, so?
01:30Just a lot of detergent.
01:31Just a regular one.
01:32So go in there, attack right on it.
01:34But the key, Kevin, is like no wait.
01:37As soon as you see the paint on the carpet, remove it right away.
01:42Can I see that rag?
01:43So you know if the paint's on the rag, it's coming off of the carpet.
01:46That's a good result.
01:47I'm going to wet my rag again.
01:50Holy smokes.
01:50On a clean spot.
01:52Go right back to the green rag.
01:54So is this process basically just, you know, wet, dab, rinse, repeat?
02:00Exactly.
02:01And keep going?
02:01Well, it keep going.
02:02Once it's dry, it's going to be much harder to remove it.
02:04Once the paint is dry?
02:05Yes.
02:07So, you know, the green is gone.
02:09Mostly gone.
02:09I mean, gone to me.
02:10I'm colorblind.
02:11But the carpet is still wet.
02:12Not wet paint, but water wet.
02:14Water wet.
02:14Wet to the touch.
02:15Okay.
02:15So when it's still wet, you know what I do?
02:18I got one of this guy here.
02:20You got a little wet dry vac there.
02:21Yeah.
02:22Turn it on, and we're going to remove all the remaining green there and the water with it.
02:27All right.
02:40So the proficiency with which you did that, Mauro, confirms that you've done that before.
02:47A few times.
02:48I'm not going to lie.
02:49A few times, yes.
02:51That's impressive, though, because I would have thought the carpet was toast.
02:54Hardwood floors?
02:55Now, I've got to assume that if you've got a hardwood floor, it's going to be a lot easier
03:01if you get after it quickly.
03:02If you get out of this quickly, this is going to have a good result.
03:07Once again, new rag.
03:08So same bucket of warm water.
03:10Same bucket of warm water.
03:12Go right to it.
03:16Oh, yeah.
03:17No excuse.
03:19No.
03:19All gone.
03:20So good again.
03:22No damage to the finish at all.
03:23No damage to the finish at all.
03:25All the paint's right there.
03:26Just the green right there.
03:27Beautiful.
03:28All right.
03:28That doesn't surprise me, but I'm glad that you brought this here, because this is what
03:32I'm thinking.
03:32A little spot.
03:33I've missed it.
03:34It's set up.
03:35So what are you going to do in this situation?
03:37All right.
03:37First, what I like to do is get my vinegar and baking soda.
03:42So you made a little mix.
03:43A little mix.
03:44We're going to spray a little bit on, and we're going to try it.
03:50Sometimes it works.
03:51Sometimes we'll have to go a different way.
03:53You know you're saving marriages all over the country, pal, right?
03:58Oh, yeah.
03:59That takes some off.
04:02I'm still in a doghouse, Mauro, if I leave it like that.
04:05So help me out.
04:06All right.
04:06What's your next step?
04:07Next step.
04:08We're going to use the denatured alcohol.
04:11Denatured alcohol.
04:12Denatured alcohol.
04:13I'm going to open this up.
04:15There you go.
04:15Like that.
04:17We're going to wet rag again.
04:22Just like that.
04:29And this should take care of that a little faster than the other one.
04:34Oh, yeah.
04:35That's definitely getting it, right?
04:36Daddy's eating a home-cooked meal tonight.
04:38There we go.
04:39Love it.
04:40All right.
04:41I know you could take that the entire way, but you've demonstrated that it's definitely coming off.
04:45And as I look at that, the sheen of the finish is still there.
04:49Exactly.
04:49This is what the nature of alcohol would do it.
04:51Nice, gentle remove the paint without disturbing the finish on the wood.
04:55So this is great.
04:57I noticed that you've got a premium stripper right here.
05:01Is this the next thing you go to if that doesn't work, or is this verboten?
05:06One thing.
05:07When you use the stripper, not only he would take the paint, but he would take the finish from the
05:11hardwood floor.
05:12They all comes together.
05:13So don't.
05:14That's a no-no.
05:15That's a no-no.
05:16That's a no-no.
05:17Too far.
05:17Too far.
05:18Okay.
05:19So third example is tile.
05:22We've got to lay down right here.
05:24I'm presuming, given this type of material, that if it's wet paint, it's going to clean up just as quickly.
05:29Just as quickly.
05:30Yeah.
05:30What about if it's dry?
05:32And I appreciate you bringing us one here where this is also not tacky and dried.
05:35How would you start on that?
05:36What I would do, I would go with the denature alcohol.
05:42Oh.
05:43Look at that.
05:45I might not even put a drop cloth down that came off so easily.
05:49Perfectly clean.
05:50Nice and clean.
05:51And this is actually a tile with a printed pattern on top, and you didn't take any of
05:56the printing off either.
05:57Not even.
05:58So what I'm hearing is speed is your first best friend.
06:02See something, do something.
06:03That's it.
06:04Right away.
06:04It cleans right away.
06:04You avoid a lot of headaches.
06:06Don't do it right away.
06:07You're going to have a problem with the carpet, but at least you've given us a solution on the
06:10other materials.
06:11Absolutely.
06:11It looks nice and clean.
06:13Paint off.
06:14Look like new again.
06:15Love it.
06:15Thank you, Mauro.
06:22Wow, Heath, you've been busy.
06:24Look at this mock-up.
06:25Got a new hobby, Kevin.
06:26I guess.
06:27You need better hobbies, but no, this is good.
06:29So here's how it kind of started.
06:31I wanted to do a cutaway, because I see Richard doing them all the time, showing tanks and
06:34everything.
06:34It makes it really easy to explain things.
06:36So I wanted to kind of explain how three-way switching works when you have multiple switches,
06:40locations to control lights or whatever else.
06:42And I've been trying to cut one open to show the internals of it.
06:44But it blows apart every time.
06:46I get springs going every which way.
06:47I just couldn't make it happen.
06:48So I built one instead.
06:50Richard's cutaway career is safe.
06:52You're coming at him with an incredible mock-up.
06:54I'm coming at him with this.
06:55Okay.
06:55Yeah.
06:56So we're talking three-way switches.
06:58Yep.
06:58Which, I'll be honest, as you know, I've called you on this many times.
07:01It confuses me, and I think it confuses a lot of people.
07:03A lot of people.
07:03They can be very confusing until you understand how they operate, and once you get that, it's
07:06usually fairly simple.
07:07So how does a basic circuit work if we're just talking about a single switch?
07:11So to keep it simple, what we typically have is we'd have a two-wire and a two-wire.
07:17Yeah.
07:17Our feed and our neutral, and a two-wire going out.
07:19And when you say feed and neutral, just for my purposes, in this case, the white is the
07:23neutral.
07:23Yeah.
07:23The black is the feed.
07:24Exactly.
07:25So we'd have power in, and then when you close the switch, power back out to whatever you're
07:30controlling.
07:30Let's say in this case, it's a light fixture.
07:32So the neutral will be made.
07:33This will be open with the switch.
07:35You'd close the switch.
07:36Those would touch.
07:37You open the switch.
07:38It opens.
07:38Okay.
07:39And if we have two wires, then we need a switch, a simple switch.
07:43A single switch.
07:44So a toggle switch like this.
07:45Yep.
07:47Two wires means only two screws.
07:49Correct.
07:49Ignoring the ground.
07:50Ignoring the ground for now.
07:50We're just talking about the circuit itself.
07:52So a black wire there, a black wire there.
07:54It's simply open and closed, open and closed.
07:56Perfect.
07:57So if this were just a simple switch right here, it's very straightforward, right?
08:02Yep.
08:02We have our white wire, our neutral, going all the way to the light fixture.
08:04Then we have our black wire coming through, carrying over.
08:07And if I turn the switch on, goes to the light, you can see it's a complete circuit.
08:11And so we always have to have that circuit coming in, coming back.
08:14So if I turn it off, it just breaks it.
08:16Just breaks it.
08:17That simple.
08:17It's just that one switch, on, off, on, off.
08:20Okay.
08:20In a three-way situation, we all know, we now have two switches, one when you get in
08:24the room, one when you leave the room, we'll say it, so that you can control from
08:27either side.
08:27So with that, we just need a couple of different things.
08:29The first thing is, we now need a piece of three-wire going between instead of two-wire.
08:34Okay.
08:35So now we've got the traditional white, the black, but we've got the extra red.
08:39Correct.
08:39And you said we need a new switch, which means instead of a switch with the two screws.
08:44Switch with three screws.
08:46So the two brass, and in this case, a black.
08:48Right.
08:48Okay.
08:49And here's the hard part.
08:51This is what I always call you on.
08:52What do I screw into what?
08:54It looks confusing, but let me try and make it as simple as possible.
08:56The easiest way for me to do this, and this can be done multiple ways, I always take the
09:01black and the red, and I always treat these as my travelers.
09:03They're going between the two switches.
09:05Those are going to our two brass screws.
09:07But we have a different colored screw in this case that's black, that's our common screw.
09:11So similar screws are always the travelers?
09:14Correct.
09:15And the oddball's always the common?
09:16It is.
09:17Picture it just like a little flapper going between.
09:19So this common screw is our base point, it just goes back and forth between those two terminals.
09:23Connecting this to there, or this to there.
09:25Exactly.
09:25In this case, we're going to have two commons, one on each side, one's going to be our feed
09:30in, our power, and one's going to be the load out to the light.
09:33So let's just look at what you've already wired.
09:36Here's our three wire, a three conductor in the middle, and if I turn this around, you've
09:43taken the black and the red and immediately put it on the two similar screws, in this case
09:49the brass screws.
09:50Correct.
09:50Now we know those are out of the way.
09:52Okay.
09:52And then you're taking the other wire.
09:55Correct.
09:56In this case up to the light.
09:57Yep.
09:58Or in that case back to power.
09:59And not breaking the neutrin, which is why it just wire nuts.
10:02So you've connected the wire nut there.
10:04Yep.
10:04You've connected the wire nut here.
10:05Continuous path.
10:06Nice and simple.
10:06So this is what we're seeing inside this box.
10:08That white passes through, but it's wire nutted straight to the light fixture.
10:13Our power in to our common.
10:15Our black and red are our travelers.
10:18And it goes to the other switch.
10:19And that allows us to do what?
10:21If I'm in one side of the room and I want to turn it on.
10:24Turn it on.
10:25You make the connection.
10:26But if you want to turn it off.
10:27I can go and break it over here.
10:29Huh.
10:30So again, continuous.
10:32Neutral, still intact, never broken.
10:33But here's where the break happens.
10:35And that's how that third wire helps.
10:36Now you can control from multiple locations.
10:38And if you wanted to turn it on over there, even though it's weird to put the switch down,
10:42it makes the connection.
10:43Doesn't care where you are.
10:44You can come and go as you want.
10:45Huh.
10:46Look at that.
10:47Over there.
10:48Okay.
10:49So I have to remember, if I've got a three-way circuit set up, and for some reason it's not
10:56working.
10:58That is one of the number one calls.
10:59Yeah.
11:00That's why I call you.
11:01I'm like, wait a second.
11:01I just put a dimmer around.
11:03Yeah.
11:03So we usually see two things happen.
11:04The first one, and the most common, is someone wants to install a dimmer.
11:07A lot of times you'll see three-way switches, either a kitchen or a dining room, where you
11:10come in one side and out the other, and they want to put a dimmer on that light.
11:13It makes perfect sense.
11:14A lot of times what they'll do is they'll get a single-pole dimmer, so it only has the
11:17two screws, not the three that we need.
11:20When they do that, they're only attaching two and not connecting anything to the other runner.
11:23So when you put the switch in one position, it'll work.
11:26When you turn it off, it's not going to do anything for you.
11:29Okay.
11:30The other way we see it is if they have a switch that failed, or they want to change
11:32them and update them to freshen them up.
11:34When they take the old three-way out, they didn't pay attention to what wire was what,
11:37and it happens all the time.
11:38Because you see a couple of black wires and a red wire in there.
11:41I got screws.
11:41I'm just going to put them on there to be fine.
11:43Yeah, yeah.
11:43Why are you looking at me like that?
11:45I feel like I've gotten that phone call.
11:47When it goes back in, a lot of times the common, either the power or the light, ends
11:52up on one of the travelers.
11:53Same thing happens.
11:54When that happens, if one switch is in a certain position, it'll work.
11:57But when you put it in the other switch, the position, it won't work at all.
12:00So is that why you like this configuration?
12:02Is that your sort of way of just kind of, you know...
12:04It's the simplest.
12:05Simplest way.
12:06So if you're not sure, if you're looking at something, just to take kind of the basic
12:09thought out of it to make it really, really simple and standard, I take that black and
12:14right every time.
12:14Those are my two travelers.
12:15Those are my brass screws.
12:17The wire that's left, that's not the neutral.
12:19The wire that's left over is simply my common.
12:21Okay.
12:22That makes it the easiest way to follow and troubleshoot.
12:24If you have a three-way circuit, your switches have to have those three screws.
12:28They do.
12:29And then you have to get that common wired correctly.
12:31Correct.
12:32Yep.
12:33Once you figure that out, you can see how it operates.
12:36The rest is pretty simple.
12:37So the only thing that I have a problem with is the fact that in my electrical bag with my
12:41alignments, my tape, my tester, I don't have room for this.
12:44And I need to take this with me.
12:45I'll make you a video.
12:46This is beautiful.
12:47Thank you, Heath.
12:48Thanks, Kevin.
12:58Hey, John.
12:59Hey, Nate.
12:59How are you?
13:00Nice to meet you.
13:00Good, good.
13:01You wrote me about a fence?
13:02I sure did.
13:03All right.
13:03Let's take a look.
13:05So is this where you're thinking about putting the fence?
13:08Yeah.
13:08So what I'm looking to do or have here is some separation between, you know, my lawn
13:14and the street.
13:15Okay.
13:15Because as you can see, there's a bit of a low-lying area here from cars driving on when
13:20they're, you know, either guests, sometimes neighbors who are visiting other people.
13:23Yeah.
13:24And, you know, that killed a lot of the grass.
13:26And in general, I don't have any separation between my property and the street, kind of like
13:33my neighbors do, with a fence over here, some bushes over there.
13:36So it'd be great to have something here.
13:38All right.
13:38I can definitely help you kind of define the space, put in a fence, but we might want to
13:42bring in a little bit more manpower for that.
13:44Let me give my buddy, Lee, a call and see if he can come give us a hand.
13:46Sounds good.
13:47All right.
13:51John, I'd like to introduce you to Lee.
13:52Hi, John.
13:53Hey, how are you?
13:53Nice to meet you.
13:53How are you?
13:54So we were driving over and we were having a conversation and the first thing that came
13:57up was 811.
13:59You know, we want to make that phone call before we do any digging in the yard.
14:02They're going to come out.
14:02They're going to check for gas.
14:04They're going to check for water, electrical, cable, anything that might be buried.
14:08So we want to make that phone call first.
14:10So actually, I've already called 811 and they said we are good to go.
14:14Okay.
14:14You are ahead of the game.
14:15I think we're in great shape.
14:16We already have some existing cobblestones in, John.
14:19So why don't we, you know, go off of that?
14:21What do you think?
14:21That sounds like a great idea.
14:22Yeah.
14:23And they look good, so.
14:24Did you start with the layout?
14:25Yeah, let's do layout, do some measurements and go from there.
14:27Okay.
14:27All right.
14:28All right, let's go.
14:29Sounds great.
14:30All right.
14:30I think a classic post and rail fence would look really sharp.
14:33That would look really nice.
14:34So let's say maybe about two feet off the backside of that cobblestone.
14:38All right.
14:39This mailbox, I feel like it's seen better days.
14:42It absolutely has.
14:43Let's take it out and put a new one in.
14:47All right.
14:47New one, and then we'll do that post.
14:49Start right about here?
14:50Post right there.
14:50Yeah.
14:51Okay.
14:51And we're going to work in about eight foot lengths.
14:54All right.
14:55So we'll drop a post at eight feet there.
14:57Another one here?
14:58Yeah.
15:00Come down to 16 feet.
15:02We'll drop the post there.
15:03Okay.
15:04Another one here.
15:05Yeah.
15:05Nice.
15:06And then we'll cap the end at 24.
15:1024.
15:11Right there.
15:12Okay.
15:12Perfect.
15:13Nice.
15:14Good.
15:14So four posts, some rails.
15:16Yep.
15:17But when I'm done, it'll just be a fence.
15:19Okay.
15:19Then let me come in.
15:20All right.
15:21And I think we should bump it out a little bit, the bed itself, like 36.
15:25Mm-hmm.
15:26Three feet off the cobblestone would look really nice.
15:28Nice straight line.
15:30Like bud here.
15:30Yep.
15:31And that will give me room to put some plants in here.
15:33Because plain fence, John, I don't think it's going to look too good.
15:35Yeah.
15:36You know, I'm thinking like some climbing roses, maybe some spirea, you know.
15:39Sounds like you have a lot more style than I do.
15:41Okay.
15:43But first, let's get this grass out of here.
15:45Yeah.
15:46Sounds great.
15:46Ready to go?
15:47All right.
15:47Let's do some work.
15:48Less talky.
15:49More worky.
15:49Yep.
15:51I'm going to get started with this mailbox.
15:52Okay.
15:53Lee, help me.
15:54You need some help over here?
15:55Hold on one second.
15:56Ready?
15:56Yep.
15:57Which way you want to go?
15:57You want to go straight up?
15:58One, two, three.
16:00There we go.
16:01Good?
16:02Okay.
16:04All you want to do is just want to get underneath the grass.
16:07I don't want to go too deep.
16:08Okay.
16:09And I don't want to go too shallow.
16:10Nice job.
16:17Thanks, Nathan.
16:18Yep.
16:20So I think our first post is going to be around here somewhere.
16:23Yeah.
16:25So the reason why we're doing this, so the fence will be straight, right?
16:28Nice and straight.
16:30All right.
16:31So there's two feet there.
16:32We'll go down this end.
16:33All right.
16:34We'll go down here a little bit past our 24-foot mark.
16:49That looks pretty good.
16:50Like it?
16:51Yeah.
16:52All right, John.
16:53Here are the parts that we need to put together your post and rail fence.
16:56I have here in my hands the end post.
16:58You can see it's mortised on this side, but it doesn't come all the way through for a nice
17:02clean look.
17:02Gotcha.
17:03In your hand, the through post, it's mortised all the way through.
17:06All right.
17:07And then Lee has the rails with the doweled ends.
17:09Okay.
17:10They're going to tuck right inside.
17:11Looks good.
17:11So we have our string line set up.
17:13We'll have a nice straight fence.
17:14We need to do a little bit more layout, give ourselves some rough locations that we're
17:18going to start digging some holes.
17:19Then we'll move the string line so we can dig them.
17:22And when we start putting things together, I'd like to start on this end because this
17:25is a little bit more important.
17:26The waste can go that way.
17:28So two feet down, that'll put us about to the top of the grade, to about 10 inches from
17:32the bottom rail.
17:34We'll run it out level.
17:35It'll look pretty sharp.
17:36Typical life on these.
17:37Theater, 30 years.
17:39Yep.
17:39We can start doing our layout.
17:41Okay.
17:41One of the ways.
17:42Put this down.
17:43Save some time is drop.
17:44Yeah.
17:44Drop that rail.
17:45Okay.
17:45Right on the ground like that.
17:47We know our first post is going to be right here.
17:50Dowel is going to tuck inside of our post.
17:52About two inches inside, correct?
17:54Two inches inside.
17:55Yeah.
17:55So we'll dig a two foot hole there.
17:57Okay.
17:57And we'll come down.
17:58We know that's going to be inside the post.
17:59So that's the center.
18:03We can dig a hole there.
18:04Why two feet?
18:05Two feet down.
18:07Low enough that it's nice and stable.
18:09Not too deep.
18:09You're not going to hit any utilities.
18:11It's not really a high fence.
18:12We'll be about three feet above grade.
18:13Okay.
18:13There's no weight on this fence.
18:15No.
18:16It's not like a fence panel where you might want to go down.
18:18Yeah.
18:18Four feet.
18:19It's not like a big sail or anything like that.
18:20Yeah.
18:21So I can move this down.
18:22Okay.
18:24Slide it down.
18:26All right.
18:27All right.
18:27Right about there.
18:35All right.
18:36One more.
18:37And then that's where it's going to end up down there, Jonathan.
18:39Right there.
18:39What do you think?
18:41Yeah.
18:41That looks good.
18:42Okay.
18:42Good.
18:48All right.
18:49Let's start digging.
18:50Okay.
18:53Just put it in the ground, spread your arms, and bring out material.
18:57Okay.
19:03It's a good arms day, you know?
19:04Yeah.
19:10Pretty good.
19:12Nice.
19:17We want it to be plum, and we're going to backfill with some stone dust.
19:20This will compact nice.
19:22It'll drain.
19:23It's going to be a lot better than cement.
19:26Cement has an issue.
19:27It might rock the post, so we don't want to do that.
19:29Perfect.
19:30Now we can start digging our second hole.
19:31Okay.
19:32Good.
19:33Yep.
19:35Let me sneak in there.
19:36Oh, you're going to have it?
19:37Yep.
19:46Nice.
19:46We get our post in there.
19:48Yep.
19:48One thing I want to do is we're going to slide a rail in.
19:53I want to run this out level.
19:55Okay.
19:56Because the grade kind of goes up and down a little bit.
19:59All right.
20:00So we want to backfill that hole just a little bit to run out level.
20:02Okay.
20:05Put our top rail in.
20:08John, can you do me a favor?
20:09Can you grab me that piece of scrap?
20:12Sure.
20:21That's good right there?
20:22Good?
20:22Yep.
20:23Good?
20:26Nice.
20:28All right.
20:29All right.
20:29Lean it just to give it just a touch back towards the house.
20:32Yeah, it's perfect right there.
20:33Okay.
20:33Go ahead.
20:34Very nice.
20:35Have that.
20:39All right.
20:40So we have these posts tamped down.
20:42Okay.
20:42And then we backfill it around and we push it down with our foot.
20:45But one of the best ways to compact the material is actually just to run a hose at the base
20:48of
20:48each post, let it pool up, then filter down, pool up, and then I'm going to drive these nails in.
20:53I'm going to rototilt the beds.
20:56Okay.
20:56So we can get ready for some planting.
20:57All right.
20:58Sounds good.
21:00Jonathan, we have the spiraea here.
21:02Okay.
21:03Golden leaf one on it.
21:04It's really nice.
21:05Really pretty.
21:06What's the expected coloring for the flower?
21:08This one here should be a nice soft pink, you know?
21:11And then I offset it with this.
21:12This is Black Eyed Susan's.
21:14It's got the seed pod right here.
21:16Okay.
21:17And that's what the birds like later in the fall.
21:20So this cap mint, this is going to cascade over the cobblestones that we have.
21:25And look at that.
21:25That's really pretty.
21:26Yeah, that's a really good color.
21:26And this will get a good size.
21:27Okay.
21:28And then on the backside, I got a rose bush.
21:31So when they start growing up, just maybe help it train along the rails.
21:35Okay.
21:41Spread that around nice.
21:44Keep it fluffy.
21:46Keep it natural.
21:47Perfect.
21:54All right, John, what do you think?
21:57I was expecting a fence, and you guys delivered a heck of a lot more.
22:02You know, the plants, everything.
22:05It just looks amazing.
22:06Came out good.
22:07Nathan, you knocked it out of the park by putting the fence in.
22:09It looks good.
22:10Nice and level, straight.
22:10You can't ask any better.
22:11You got Lee's personal touch on these plantings.
22:13I think this will really keep people off your lawn for sure.
22:16I hope so.
22:16Yeah, you're in good shape.
22:17Let's make sure.
22:18Any homework, Lee?
22:19Yes.
22:20Ready?
22:20Yes.
22:21Water?
22:21Water, water.
22:22Give me at least 15 to 20 minutes of watering twice a day.
22:24Twice a day, all right.
22:25Keep everything hydrated.
22:26That will work out really well.
22:27Gotcha.
22:28Okay.
22:28Sounds good.
22:29Enjoy it.
22:30Sounds good.
22:30All right.
22:30Thanks for your help, guys.
22:31Talk to you so much.
22:32Good job, Nathan.
22:33Good job, Lee.
22:34Go get a beer.
22:34Yeah, two.
