00:00All right, Coach, give me your favorite player prop.
00:04I know the menu is going to grow a little bit throughout the day,
00:06but at the moment, the favorite number that you've been able to put eyes on.
00:10Yeah, listen, you know me, Coach Young loves bigs.
00:13Terrace Reed, the big man out of UConn,
00:15going over seven and a half rebounds in his game today versus Georgetown.
00:19When you kind of look at Terrace, number one,
00:21it's got to be about the foul trouble.
00:23If he stays in a foul trouble, he gets a minute, he's going to get there.
00:26One, the guys he's guarding on Georgetown are going to be around the rim.
00:29Number two, UConn is number two in offense rebounding
00:32and defense rebounding percentage in the Big East.
00:35He's going over five of the last eight games,
00:37and the last time he played Georgetown, he got 11 rebounds.
00:41To me, this is a guy that is when he gets going.
00:45Everybody wants to talk about Mullins and Ball
00:48and all these guys in the backcourt.
00:50When I watched this guy, and he was really good versus Butler,
00:55and you saw Butler switch everything with that model,
00:57and this guy starts eating inside, oh, my goodness,
01:01they become a different team, and they're going to be an angry team tonight.
01:04Give me Terrace Reed, the big man, over seven and a half rebounds tonight for UConn.
01:09All right, a little Big East action there.
01:11We'll get more into that game as the show goes on,
01:13but I'm going to go back to what was our top game of the day
01:16in Iowa State and Kansas.
01:20And give me Joshua Jefferson over 15 and a half points.
01:24I talked about playing Iowa State in the national championship market,
01:28and a lot of that has to do with Joshua Jefferson,
01:31who, if you take a look right now in the,
01:35again, we're going to mention Ken Palm a lot, people, okay?
01:38If you bet and you watch college basketball, though, that won't be new to you.
01:42Joshua Jefferson right now ranks second in the Ken Palm National Player of the Year rankings.
01:47The gap between Boozer and everybody else is outrageous,
01:50so he might as well get his own award for Player of the Year not named Cam Boozer.
01:56And it is because he is this do-it-all point forward
02:02who can contribute in a lot of different areas.
02:05Well, that scoring punch is a big part of Iowa State's success,
02:12and he didn't provide it in the way that they needed against TCU,
02:16especially down the stretch there.
02:18It was an Iowa State team that just could not figure out ways
02:22to attack the teeth of that defense.
02:24I think you see a very aggressive Joshua Jefferson today,
02:28who is, and you knew this was coming,
02:31in a clear and obvious bounce spot.
02:35His last game was his eighth of the season,
02:37shooting under 40% from the field.
02:39In the previous seven follow-up games,
02:42he's had at least 16 in six of those seven.
02:46In fact, he has not gone under, okay,
02:50the what would be 15-and-a-half number,
02:53not just in three straight.
02:54Him going under this in consecutive games,
02:57coming into this one, is the first time all season.
03:00He's not, though, gone under 15, right, in consecutive games.
03:04He's coming off of a 12.
03:05So this is a clear, definable bounce-back spot, J.Y.,
03:10for the best player on this Cyclones team
03:13in a game that, let's be fair,
03:15the line tells us they're supposed to have a lot of success.
03:19Yeah, the line's saying he's supposed to have a lot of success,
03:21and whether you agree or disagree,
03:22Joshua Jefferson has been absolutely fantastic.
03:24For an Iowa State team that is a little bit different
03:28than we think about T.J. Oshenberger's teams, right,
03:30in regards to they're more offensively gifted,
03:34and it's led by Joshua Jefferson.
03:36So in a game where you look at Darren Peterson
03:38and what he can do, yeah, taking the guy on the other side
03:41that's a mismatched nightmare inside and out
03:43is a great way to look at Joshua Jefferson
03:45to go over his points prop tonight.
03:47All right.
