00:00We haven't really gotten over my mom's death and it's nice to have someone honor my mother
00:06like this.
00:07My name is Giovanni Singson-Zahar.
00:09I am a functional medicine practitioner and I am the son of Dr. Rebecca Singson, who is
00:16a Smart Parenting Game Changer Awardee.
00:20In terms of women's health, my mom was definitely an advocate.
00:25She's an OB-GYN, so she would really incorporate that into her practice, especially with longevity
00:32and anti-aging.
00:34Integrating that with her menopausal patients, she's able to help them through hormones but
00:40also through nutrition and fitness and just general lifestyle.
00:44That's not something a lot of OB-GYNs try to propagate.
00:49She also dabbled in vaginal reconstruction and labiplasty, giving women all these somewhat
00:57rejuvenating confidence.
00:59Naturally, she became some sort of infertility specialist, in a sense, because of her social
01:06media.
01:07And she really did help a lot of couples who were having a hard time for years because
01:13of her, a lot of babies were born.
01:15Doctors her age, at 67, would think about slowing down.
01:20She always said that, I'm just going to keep going until I can't.
01:24Throughout her chemo, she would be doing online consults because it was so difficult for her
01:30not to.
01:31All these patients have come to us with so many different stories.
01:35I just want her legacy to be in everyone's memories.
