00:08they hang around, particularly this building. I'm Jacob Walsh, a photographer
00:14from Bendigo. I'm pretty new to photography but I'm finding it just a
00:19nice way to express myself.
00:32I just started studying art in school and then I found myself gravitating
00:36towards photography. I'm not very good at drawing or painting so I found just being
00:42able to capture an image that's in front of you a lot easier and finding a way
00:48to convey a meaning through that can be trickier because you're not the artist
00:52technically making it but I enjoy the challenge. I find myself gravitating a lot
00:57towards black-and-white photography mainly just because it emphasizes the
01:02shadows and the lights a lot more and I love playing around with the shadows
01:05and the lights.
01:21I've only done one small exhibition in Exhibit B in Bendigo so just at the Bendigo
01:27Bank I did a small photography exhibition like a month or two ago and I do have
01:33another one upcoming I think next year the start of next year a smaller one and
01:37definitely open to doing a lot more.
