00:00Caracas. For me, a day like today would be very easy to speak on the things with which I'm not
00:07agreeing with the Bolivarian government.
00:10But if we agree, or myself agrees with, is that the country demands more from ourselves, not from hatred, not
00:18from the hard feelings,
00:20but from the reflection of what is the country that we want to build.
00:25The country of Venezuelans and privileges, it is the country in which we are putting aside conflicts and hatred.
00:35Today, the homeland demands more than that, demands a high position in politic aspects,
00:42and also transparency and honesty in resolving the problems.
00:47Venezuela requires consensus to build a political class that is coherent and sustainable in time.
00:54It requires tolerance, it requires respect, it requires, above all, to have the capacity of believing truly in that plural
01:02Venezuela and Venezuelan opportunities.
01:06It is no time for the majority that is present in this National Assembly to impose their ideas over the
01:13rest of the people.
01:15Today, the moment that Venezuelans are living through, we need to take advantage of it, to make that the history
01:21of this nation is nothing more than the conflict and the hatred and the useless debate.
01:27It is time that for all politicians to assume their responsibilities of every speech, and we need to hold the
01:36hatred, and from my generation, it is time that the Venezuelan youth takes this opportune order, deputies.
01:44Thank you, please. Thank you, President. It is time, as well, that the youth have the responsibility of being the
01:51interpreters of our own times to build the future stability of the nation.
01:56Venezuela can't handle a new scream, a new battle.
02:03There has to be a change of behavior, a change of behavior on a daily basis
02:08in the way in which we relate ourselves.
02:11Since BolĂvar left this world, we are not willing to follow the ideas of any empire.
02:20We have lost so many lives, and I wish I was speaking just about time.
02:26But today, an error from this National Assembly, from this political class is going to have a high cost.
02:34If you have a recognition, the sector that represents the Democratic Alliance
02:39is for maintaining a conscious speech over the years, speaking of reconciliation, of dialogue, of peace,
02:46even when that does not reiterate popularity on social media.
02:50If we are due to be recognized as for being a rebellious person,
03:00but also for having a high political stance.
03:05If we need, if our political leaders from the Democratic Alliance is for spending five years
03:13drawing the peaceful solution of Venezuelans, solution that the national government didn't bet for it,
03:22and remained stuck to an infertile dialogue.
03:30Now we are having a sincere dialogue and an honest dialogue.
03:34It is imperative to speak on the problems of the citizens that have nothing to do with the problems of
03:40the politicians.
03:40It is imperative to end the intolerance of the judicial abuses,
03:47and we need to speak without paying Venezuelan migrants and to occupy ourselves to reunify the Venezuelan family.
03:58Today, the expectations are very high, and that is why we have to put ourselves into the work.
04:05I was five years ago standing in this very same parliament, speaking about dialogue when it was not popular,
04:13speaking about reconciliation when it was uncomprehended,
04:17and even in that moment, without doubt, I said the same thing today to Delsi, to Acting President Delsi Rodriguez.
04:26Let's call for a great dialogue, political dialogue with the Venezuelan youth.
04:30Let's call for a great, true, and plural dialogue in which all of us are represented.
04:37Let's look into our eyes and into the problems of the Venezuelan people that decided to stay here in Venezuela
04:45to do work,
04:45but also to insist in the construction of a Venezuela of respect, of tolerance.
04:50And let's look into the eyes of those young Venezuelans that, in spite of being awakened from very early in
04:59the morning,
04:59still do not have guarantees to buy a house, a car, or even to reach the next month.
05:05It needs to be part of the national agenda, and also the rising of the social services and the retirees
05:14payment,
05:14and also the money for the students, the university students, acting president, it is imperative that we speak with the
05:23Venezuelan youth.
05:24That's the most important dialogue that must exist in Venezuela,
05:28because it is going to be the youth of Venezuela, the ones that are going to be in charge of
05:33building the stability of the future generations.
05:37One minute, deputy, but likewise, I also call this national assembly to debate a lot of opportunities for the Venezuelan
05:46youth,
05:47and the debate to be open wide enough so all of us are represented.
05:52I've said this before and I repeat it today.
05:55Venezuela did not belong to a political sector, and we cannot let ourselves to give the back to our liberators
06:03for that sacrifice that they did for us today is overshadowed by the personal aspirations.
06:09Today, Venezuela, there is a youth that is ready, that also is ready to defend the interests of Venezuelans
06:16with respect, with tolerance and plurality, because the Venezuela that we want to build
06:20is that Venezuela of coexistence, but among all, of development and well-being
06:26and opportunities for future generations.
