00:01West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Batley linked to an
00:06apparent road rage incident. It happened shortly before 7 in the evening on Friday the 6th of
00:12February on Brearley Place, following a minor collision outside the mosque. When the victim
00:18got out to exchange details, the driver of the other car allegedly assaulted him. The victim
00:24was taken to hospital with multiple leg fractures and the suspect drove away. Officers want anyone
00:31in the area between 6.30 and 7 who may have seen the incident or anyone who may have relevant
00:38dashcam footage to contact West Yorkshire Police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
