03:52It's so important because we have to know the Dutch society more.
03:58They teach us the communication skills, the language, integration skills as well.

04:25Viele Flüchtlinge schaffen den gesellschaftlichen Aufstieg mit der Gründung von Lebensmittelgeschäften.

05:24Ik kom zelf persoonlijk uit een verre land.
05:28Toen ik hier aankwam, was ik tien jaar.
05:30Wat helpt, is dat je als nieuwkomer, dat je je welkom voelt.
05:35Dat je begint met onderwijs, de taal leren, de cultuur van het nieuwe land eigen maken,
05:42deelnemen aan de arbeidsmarkt, werken en vervolgens de ontmoeting.
05:47En dat is wat we in A Beautiful Mess organiseren is werk, is onderwijs, is en de ontmoeting met de
05:54oorspronkelijke bewoners.
05:56Zurück in Amsterdam trifft Fleur Manager großer Firmen und Verwaltungen.
06:01Für Mai ist ein Riesentisch quer durch die Innenstadt geplant, ein Kilometer lang.
06:06Sponsoren sollen 250.000 Euro spenden.
06:09Das Geld fließt in Ausbildungsprojekte von A Beautiful Mess.
06:13Give us a few facts and figures.
06:16How many people found a real job through your initiative?
06:20We have our targets to how many people do we support in to pay jobs.
06:25We are able to place between 5 and 6 people out of 10.
06:29That's quite successful because research shows that sometimes it's 1 out of 10 that people find work.
06:36Is that something you are proud of personally?
06:38Now we are sitting on the terrace of an A location in the middle of Amsterdam.
06:43So I think our biggest success was that we are now visible.
06:46And we made also the invisible people in our teams visible.

06:59Mein Traum ist, ich gehe auf ein Restaurant in aller Europäer.

07:15Und Fleur, warum steckt die fünffache Mutter ihre Zeit und Lebenskraft in Projekte wie A Beautiful Mess?
07:22On this beautiful planet Earth, I think it's all about connection.
07:29And I really, really think it's important that we build safe spaces
07:33and that everyone deserves a place, a sense of belonging.
07:37And to me personally, I want my children to grow up in a world where we are connected
07:42and where there's not so much hate.
