00:11The funding, confirmed for the Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership, will help
00:16sustain evidence-based programmes, including youth mentoring, trauma-related training and
00:22community interventions.
00:24Partners involved range from police and fire services to education, health and voluntary
00:29organisations.
00:31The investment also continues funding for Merseyside's Young Futures panels, which focus on protecting
00:37at-risk young people.
00:38Officials say the aim is to intervene early, reduce harm and improve life in local communities.
