Nvidia has signed a land deal with the Taipei City government for a new headquarters in the Beitou-Shilin area of the city. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an says the lease runs 50 years with a 20-year extension and includes a rights payment of about US$390 million. He said Nvidia’s plan would bring more than US$1.3 billion in investment and create up to 10,000 jobs.
