00:00I will never walk away from the mandate I was given to change this country.
00:06I will never walk away from the people that I am charged with fighting for.
00:11And I will never walk away from the country that I love.
00:15I'm fighting for them.
00:18I am their Prime Minister.
00:21And this is their government.
00:24Thank you very much and thanks for giving up your time this afternoon
00:27so I can have a chat with you.
00:30It's been a busy week.
00:32Millions of people held back because of a system that doesn't work for them.
00:39Who had not given the dignity, the respect, the chance that they deserve.
00:48And I'm fighting for them.
00:51I am their Prime Minister.
00:54And this is their government.
00:57And I will never give up on that fight.
00:59There are some people in recent days who say the Labour government should have a different fight.
01:04A fight with itself.
01:07Instead of a fight for the millions of people who need us to fight for them.
01:12And I say to them,
01:13I will never walk away from the mandate I was given to change this country.
01:19I will never walk away from the people that I am charged with fighting for.
01:24And I will never walk away from the country that I love.
01:28But the fight coming up in politics, the real fight, is not in the Labour Party.
01:34It's with the right-wing politics that challenges that.
01:37The politics of reform.
01:40The politics of divide, divide, divide.
01:44Grievance, grievance, grievance.
01:46That will tear our country apart.
01:49That is the fight that we are in.
01:55And I will be in that fight as long as I have breath in my body.
01:59April, we're taking £150 off the energy bills for every single household.
02:04So £150 off the bill.
02:06Let's have another question or contribution or comment.
02:12So what's the government going to do for our static board?
02:15Do you think we have a whole group in being used to really support the families of everyone?
02:22So it's not just in one of the silos.
02:24It's actually across all the departments.
02:26And it all comes...
02:27I'm not the fastest, but I finished it.
02:31Three and a half hours?
02:32No.
02:34I just said it was that content.
02:36Yeah.
02:43I think you're seeing quite a lot of all the above.
02:46But we would turn it around and say that we would love to see more health.
02:50These are things that are getting obscured.
02:59Will you lead the Labour Party into the next German election?
03:02Yes, I will.
03:03I had a five-year mandate to deliver the change.
03:05I intend to get on with what I was elected to do, which is deliver that change.
03:10I'm really pleased that we've got a united cabinet behind me in that fight.
03:15We need to concentrate on bringing about that change because for millions of people who
03:19are being held back by this system that we're in, they need us to be fighting for them.
03:24And that is what we're doing.
03:25Well, what's happened over the last few days is that we've pulled together as a party and
03:32been absolutely crystal clear about the fight we need to have.
03:35And that's the fight on behalf of all the people in this country who don't get the respect,
03:40the dignity and the chance that they deserve in life.
03:44That is the fight that we are in.
03:46That's who we're fighting for.
03:48I'm their prime minister and this is their government.
03:51But we also need to remember and never forget that whatever the political discussions in
03:56Westminster, for most people across the country in this community centre, it's the cost of
04:01living, making ends meet, whether they can get on in life, whether public services are
04:05working.
04:05That's what matters most.
04:06And I'm absolutely up for that fight and I'm not walking away from that fight.
