01:02These people on the field were getting sprayed at the same time as the ground was getting sprayed.
01:06So they would get, you know, a heavy dosage of a chemical mixture, you know, for hours at a time every morning and every evening that we were spraying.
01:15I got a call from the Ministry of Environment in northern British Columbia.
01:28They had come into possession of a can of Black Flag herbicide, which was purchased in northern B.C. in 1964, I believe it was.
01:38And it was a domestic herbicide that was on the shelf in a hardware store.
01:43And it was a one-to-one mixture of 2,4-D and 2,4-5-T.
01:46So basically, for all intents and purposes, it was Agent Orange.
01:50And it was sprayed willy-nilly all over Canada.
01:54We've had cancer deaths like, you know, almost every household here has had a cancer death.
02:08At least one.
02:09When I was quite young, I would have been, oh, maybe around 10, 12.
02:27And I'd see these babies in their carriage with a normal baby body, but a huge head.
02:35And there was a lot of that in Oromakdo, because that wasn't, I saw several myself.
