00:02The National Labor Relations Board said it is dismissing its complaint against SpaceX
00:06and will abandon a years-long legal fight with the company, according to Bloomberg.
00:11The agency issued the complaint two years ago,
00:14accusing SpaceX of firing eight engineers over an open letter criticizing Elon Musk.
00:19The NLRB said a January opinion from the National Mediation Board placed SpaceX engineers
00:24under NMV jurisdiction rather than the Labor Board's authority.
00:28The decision follows SpaceX's 2024 lawsuit claiming that the NLRB's structure was unconstitutional,
00:34which led to a court injunction pausing the case.
00:37The NLRB also dropped a separate SpaceX case in December involving severance and arbitration agreements.
00:44Other companies, including Amazon, have filed similar constitutional challenges.
