00:18Not just a lot of press but instead results such as this one and more importantly with no casualties outside the criminal justice system perpetrated by law enforcement.
00:28This afternoon, local government's head haunches, Secretary John Vic Remulya made his way to the Manila International Container Port to inspect the latest narcotics howl of over a quarter of a billion pesos in crystal meth or chadu.
00:42It's stash consisting of 131 parcels of 41 kilograms and shipped from Afghanistan was seized care of a joint narcotics operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency,
00:55the Bureau of Customs, the Dangerous Drug Boards, and the Philippine National Police.
01:01In further comments to the press, Secretary John Vic Remulya dwelt on the efficacy of anti-narcotics operations since the use of deadly fire,
01:10which wield the same results and no casualties and is attainably by better coordinated efforts between law enforcement agencies.
01:18The impact may well be shocking but not surprising and it definitely drew mixed reactions,
01:25especially from an eager public religiously monitoring developments on the flood control scam probe.
01:30Sometime mid-afternoon today, it was announced that the much-anticipated release of the Blue Ribbon Committee report had been stalled given the latest revision
01:38on the work product as per committee chair, Senator Panfil Laxon.
01:43Laxon said the latest amended BRC report and flood control probe recommends no filing of criminal raps against the lawmakers cited in the report,
01:52namely Senators Joel Villanueva and Jinggoy Estrada.
01:57The latest deliberations by the committee left committee chair Senator Laxon no choice but to omit
02:02Senator Francis Escudero and ex-House Speaker Martin Rodualdez for the absence of corroborative evidence linking them
02:10as having received kickbacks from DPWH officials and or public works contractors but exclusion from the Senate report,
02:19Laxon warned, does not translate to being spared from further probe by the DOJ, the NBI and the Ombudsman.

02:56Still, there was a noticeable divide from conservatives on their takeaways from the show and its star-dad bunny.

03:08Even President Donald Trump, who campaigned against the show months before and said he wouldn't watch it,
03:14blasted the halftime production, stressing it was an affront to the American people and calling the worst of the worst.
03:21Then again, many conservatives thought otherwise, heaping praise on the production value of the show
03:26that began with bad bunny, winding, or winding his way from workers in a sugar cane field to men playing dominoes
03:34and vendors selling coco frios, tiraguas, and tacos.
03:38Even more real wedding ritual was strolled in the mix and celebrities lending their glitter and star power to the event,
03:44like Cardi B, Ricky Martin, film star Pedro Pascal, and yes, the multi-talented Lady Gaga.
03:51Yet unlike his acceptance speech at the Grammys a week before,
03:55bad bunny chose not to overtly wade into anti-Ice remarks
03:58and, oddly enough, shut down his social media account hours after the show.
04:04Tomorrow, the Nielsen numbers will be out and how many millions watched the Super Bowl halftime show
04:09as opposed to the conservative counter-program of KID's great all-American halftime program
04:15spearheaded by the KID Rock,
04:17which drew by MAGA Trump estimates between 5 to 10 million viewers online.
