00:00Thank you Kenny, thank you. Welcome everybody. I don't want to hold y'all up
00:05but I just want to say a few words that every year we bring people from all over

00:15invite the world to learn and celebrate about our culture. So if you haven't
00:19picked up the July August issue of the Essence Festival, you need to go pick
00:24them things up. Now y'all already know that we got traditions that go back 300
00:28years, but this year it was special for us to capture that on film and we had the
00:34honor of working with none other than New Orleans' very own and director of
00:40Katrina Babies, Edward Buckles Jr. But tomorrow night at the Convention Center
00:44you'll be able to watch out, you'll be able to watch the premiere of the film at
00:49the Convention Center at the Essence Film Festival. Play the trailer.
